Koda Morncer

Koda is fairly average looking, standing at five and a half feet tall with muscles built from manual labor. He has dark skin and angular features, offset by his stark white hair which he usually keeps in a loose ponytail. His eyes are his most distinguishing feature. Instead of normal eyes, his seem to be a window to a large open sky, light blue with clouds rolling across it. When he is angry, this sky darkens with storm clouds streaked with lightning.

He dresses in natural fibers and wears a pendant of strange light blue amber around his neck. He often looks as though he is looking past people, at some big expansive thing that he can't quite take in. He is also surrounded by the faint glowing effigies of the animal spirits he has collected, which take the appearance of vague shapes of light around him.

Koda is a very laid back individual, letting most situations roll off his back like water. He's seemingly perpetually in a haze, mostly due to the regular use of psychoactive chemicals to train his powers. As the haze fades, more of Koda's real personality comes out.

Koda is nice, but has a temper on him. He has zero fear, which mean his fight or flight response is broken on the 'fight' setting. He tries to be supportive of his sister, who he loves immensely, but he can't help but be jealous that she has never had any expectations put on her by their father. He enjoys the aspects of his Shamanic training, but he has no real passion for it and he has somewhat given up on ever being anything but exactly what his father is training him to be: a healer.

Spirit Flight
Koda can, by entering a trance using hallucinogenic agents and rhythmic sounds to alter his awareness, let his soul leave his body and go for a spirit flight. While like this, his body is vulnerable and unconscious. His disembodied soul can view and listen, but not interact with the physical world. He can, however, interact with spirits as though they were both physical creatures in this manner. If Koda remains in his spirit flight for more than two hours, he risks becoming lost and trapped.

Koda's totem spirit Owl allows him to see through lies, illusions, and glamours.

Spirit Totem: Bison
Koda's totem spirit Bison makes him five times stronger, faster, and staminal than normal.

Spirit Totem: Javelina
Koda's totem spirit makes him immune to fear and allows him to temporarily remove fear from others with a touch.

Weakness

Koda was born in the American Midwest, but was immediately moved to Manta Carlos with his father. He was raised with some of the teachings of his father's people, but mostly absorbed island culture. At a young age he accidentally took a spirit flight and became lost until his father found him. From there, Koda began being trained to become a Shaman.

Ayr adopted a young girl, Kealani, and she and Koda became fairly close as siblings. More recently, Koda has had more opportunities to go out on his own and socialize without his father, which has led him to making friends as well as dating Oluremi Afolabi-Soie.

Koda lives with his father and sister, and has limited income from working with the former.
