"I'll leave that to you then. There are plenty of empty rooms on the third and fourth floors of this particular building. The Headmistress can see towards allocating one of those rooms for your use if you so wish."

Although it was unlikely any of those rooms were large enough to deal with that sort of technology, it was still worth the try; Starlight was easily the most surprising of campuses as far as architecture was concerned. Occasionally the rooms even changed, the door opening to a new place every time it was pulled.

"Your brotherhood sounds a lot like mine, except there were only 20 of us. Rank nor age mattered except for the Acarya. The rest is based on deed alone."

And thus came her nickname, "Thirteen." The 13th of 20 graduates. The number often appeared in other superstitions as well, and became rather fitting to her, sometimes for the better, and occasionally for the worse as well. Aurora became slightly stern at the prospect of leaving the island with a weapon however.

"Once again, I understand your itch to carry a familiar tool with you, but I have to insist that you keep your arms concealed as well. Especially off the island. Many people don't take to open carry particularly well, especially if the weapon is as well, as large as yours is."

The device he had come with looked like a double-barreled submachine gun. Except in something well over .50 caliber. There was no telling what sort of damage that thing could do...whatever it was, it was well overkill for any defense against a human.

"That said...I am sure I know precisely how much destruction my abilities are capable of, and it's not a knowledge that I hold lightly. From chaos comes order, and from death, life."

She stared at the piano, unimpressed with its lack of cooperation.

"Right now however, the only thing my ability has done today is de-tune the instrument you see behind me. Such a burden I carry, right?"

"Your headmistress, I know naught of this term, why do you call her that? She is the leader of this Sideribus Inlustris Academiae? I wish to speak with her at some point. There is must I must discuss with her."

Though he needed some things of place, one room to stay and one Reliquary. In which he himself would have a key or access too. He needs to see his own gear for his own and only allow those with him inside.

"Yet you are not with your sisterhood? You are not of the Adepta Sorotias. You do not follow them. Nor do they come to your aid? There is no telling what would happen during these things. Deeds are all we have at the end of the day. No matter how Righteous."

Aurum wasn't wrong. When a Daemonic incursion happened there were small signs to tell, if her sisterhood had the same powers as her, they could predict and contain. Somethings would have been a problem for one of them let alone 20.

"I doubt that you do. Some of these weapons I have had day and night fighting at my side, some off of the Fallen. I do not trust any other at my side. I will use them for anything demonic that I catch wind of." He said, his eyes almost burning a light blue, almost like the sky when it wasn't clouded. "I. Will. Be. There. If there is a Demonic presence or even following with in this island. I will crush it beneath my boot. If needed I will go alone. None will stand before me."

Aurum gave it a moment to sink it as she spoke. His Bionic Eye locking onto Aurora. Keeping a close eye upon her. He was curious on what she meant. 'From Chaos comes order.' Stuck in his mind.

"Your words bring.. Truth. Though Chaos is a blight upon order. I hope you never lose site of your humanity Aurora. If you have not already. Only in Death does Duty end."

He looked at the piano. He walked over to it and and pushed one of the keys on it. An E sharp was heard through out the room. He recalled many things. For once his memories drew a smile upon his face.

"A good friend of mine had tried to teach me to play the Piano. She played it a lot while my brothers and I chanted aboard her ship preparing for battles to come. She found harmony with the Inquisition and my Chapter were pleasurable."

"Like you mentioned yourself, she is the leader of the Academy. I only direct the music department, and have no say over room allocation. And I'm almost certain she will grant someone an audience to someone popping out of a temporal rift."

Thirteen chuckled a little bit, kicking her legs and leaning back. Of all the people that the rift could have spit out, this was certainly one of the more interesting of its imagination. After giving up her giggling, Aurora shook her head.

"Not the sisterhood. The Chakravanti. A traditional group of mages that practice the entropic sphere of influence. Fate and fortune usually. Destruction is saved for the more problematic of scenarios. We...deal with the internal matters that face our race."

Entropy was not all the Chakravanti practiced. Of course, being the primary sphere, it was the most widely known, but each mage had a variety of other spheres that they drew on to create their effects. Aurora was known to have control over time as well to a heavy extent. As for dealing with problems, it could be implied on what she did...although as a teacher of the arts both mundane and magical, she was exempt, and retired from such duty.

Aurora pulled out her pistol. A Sig Sauer P220 Super Match chambered in .45 ACP.

"I carry a blade as well that was given to me by the tradition. I assure you I know the value of a weapon quite well. Seriously. I'm at least 3 feet shorter than you, but I am no less a person, Justicar."

Usually she didn't care much when people said she misunderstood things, or simply didn't know something...because usually how wrong they were. But coming from someone with a vastly different world view, talking to someone who looked into other worlds sometimes for fun, one could see why she might be slightly annoyed.

"That is for you to believe, but whether or not I have lost my humanity is of no consequence. To many, the fact that you emerged from the rift may paint you as the demonic incursion instead. Although I would point out that several species and students of demonic nature inhabit the school. I implore you not to disturb them."

She hopped off the stage and back down to the floor, stretching her back, and holstering the P220 back behind her cloak.

"If the way music is written hasn't been changed in 38,000 years, you should show me the sheet music. Playing a few tunes from the future might be the break I need sometime."

"Then any constructions with in the rooms to suit my needs must be made to her then. A simple Reliquary to house such items. Then one single keypad and bio scanner if your technology is not as primitive as I think it may be."

He heard her giggle, then again, he wasn't sure if it was good or bad. He wasn't used to this. Chuckles of a madman yes. Rants from a madman, ever more so. The hollow words of a Daemon telling Aurum to give up. More so than he could even count. Though that was here nor there. To his amazement she stopped. Almost like an off switch as a few sparks flew from the Armour's knee joint.

"Interesting. It's a group of people I feel I may be more at home with. Unless your... Chakravanti was it? Say other wise.

He was more interested on what was going on with them. Find out Strengths, weaknesses as well as how they can move from system to system with out a Ship, a Geller Field. Hell. Even a plasma/warp engine. He noticed Aurora pull out something, the Armor came to life in a wiring fashion as a field flickered for a moment and stayed steady.

He saw the small weapon and the field dissipated into an ominous hum. Almost resembling a church organ as it slowly faded.

He scoffed at the weapon. It wasn't even worth the Armor he wore. It wasn't worth his skin. He was a Super Soldier by definition. His extra organs, the amount of transplants.

"Size matters not. My weapons are of my tradition. My Training, my mind. They are merely an extension of my mental might. Though your weapons are.. Primitive. I fear me lending my knowledge is off the table if I am back in time."

He words did seem true, though he was reminded of a few stories of men entering the Warp and emerging unscathed. It wasn't a lie or a truth, though her words did seem to hit a bell. As well as a nerve for the most part, though as a Justicar. Aurum of Hyperion had never lost his cool or devotion.

"Those who would say a soul lost from his time is a demon, are ones with a weak mind. Aurora. Though I am that soul. I do not mean harm, least harm befall me." The she spoke of other demons with in the school, this place? He shook his head. "Aurora, you are most fortunate that I had come through the portal and not my brothers. Even though it goes against all I was created for. If these students do no harm, no harm shall befall them. If they attempt on my life. I will respond in kind."

This Teacher. Was interesting. She had been talking down to a man who even with out armor could wrestle a bear and come out unscathed. He then rubbed some of the etching on his chestplate. The Aegis and Emperor protects. Even though this made no sense to others, it was Aurum's world.

"I do not know about music sheets, the Lady in question remembered them all, that and she had her Servo Skull, much like one I have, but it requires just as much attention as my armor does. Though I believe it has recorded much of the Lady's music and can transcribe it."

"Probably should just put an effect on the door tuned to your signature as a psyker. We have a fair few technomancers that would love nothing but to break into a room like that for fun."

Her son included, although he had moved long past biometrics and keypads. It was however much more difficult to feign a psychic signature. For example, go into Aurora's office without clearance, and you would quickly find yourself a doorway to the beaches of Manta Carlos. Depending on where the effect sent you, the deterrence was quite effective.

"The Chakravanti are uh...a subtle group. Vary rarely do we work in groups, or with outright violence. Entropy is our friend, fate our weapon. If I may say Justicar, you don't appear the type of person to believe in fate."

Or at least what she had learned so far. The armor he was wearing was literally the last thing any one of them would wear, preferring to stay plain, and nudging fate just were they needed it. A street lamp falling on a murderer. A serial arsonist trips over a stone and breaks his neck.

Accidents.

Or close enough at least.

"Primitive. But effective. Never jams, never misses, never fails. I wouldn't worry about giving us technology. The world has enough ways of blowing themselves up without 41st millenia technology."

They already had nukes now, she didn't want to know what they had dreamt up by then. Aurora in the meantime pulled no punches.

"Sounds like your brothers are the ones with weak minds it appears. At the moment, I can't say that a man coated in blood wearing more armor than an M1 Abrams tank coming out of a temporal rift is fortunate. For all intents and purposes, you may be who you say you are...or simply a construct built from the collective minds that don't realize their magical potential, a dark construct mind you, built for war. Weighing against the relative peace we have built on this island, yes Aurum. You are the demon. To myself and humanity alike, since you think I've lost mine."

...

"But that's not for me to judge, and nor do I care. We've both done some terrible things most likely, but this is not a place for that. If I've lost my humanity, then so be it. If you're a person bred for war? Who cares. What matters is what you do now."

Aurora leaned back and laughed slightly.

"I haven't been that philosophical in awhile. The thinking process was kind of why I picked up music in the first place. An art form that can be expressed without pictures or words."

She leaned up and jumped back onto the floor.

"We should get you out of here and fixed up before this starts falling apart...the nightly cleaning crew might get horribly upset with me if I left any hunks of metal laying around, or started any fires with all those sparks coming off of you.

"That may work.. It would be a mixture of different technologies that would work for it all. I could utilize my knowledge then use some of yours in order to make it work in such a way that it is perfect."

As difficult as it would be in order to match Aurum's signature, it would be more of a problem to match his memories, his own senses even. His own powers. Even then, someone would have to do something horrible like enter Aurum's mind, which is a hard thing to do. It was more of a problem to get in more than out. He had had Psyker battles with things stronger than anything man kind had to offer.

"Subtly isn't sometimes the answer against Chaos. When it ensues, Violence follows." She then stated that Aurum looked like a man who didn't grasp fate."I do believe in Fate, but fate can be altered as well as changed. Fate is a chain with many links added into that can be removed."

Aururm wasn't true, it was something that would make his words seem, more or less hallowed, he was more of a person that tempted fate as well as tried not to die. He won every time. Fate to him was a game of life and death that was a constant battle for survive with much at stake.

"Not weak minded, they were very powerful. Just Inexperienced. Most have not faced to true Trials. To fight more menacing foes than what they have. I was never one to place that burden upon anyone under my rank. i can from a time of only war. it is all I know. I long for peace where humanity reigns. Where the people I strive to protect know not the fear. To know what death looks like. If it is demonic to wish that, then I might as well be slain by my own brothers the day I entered the Monastery. Ever if you are on another planet, go by another name. You are human in nature. That is good enough."

He sighed for a moment, she was right, he wasn't in a wartime, nor would he beable to leave this island with our an Almighty Purge. It was something that he would have to think about it.

"It will take some getting used to. No more daily routines. Or anything of the sort. I can.. Relax. Other than that. I have nothing. Once again."

She said something about being philosophical. He knew what it meant, but to say it with words was different than what he was used to. He could shield his mind from people's thoughts, but he could add people into his and they could speak with out talking, as if their minds were connected. In this terms, like an Instant Messaging service.

"Indeed. It is.. A nice change."

She jumped off the stage and he listened to her. He wasn't sure on who it was that could help him fix the armor. It was far past, but it wasn't something that would make a sense to anyone repairing it, though his Servo Skull he could get to help who ever it was.

"Indeed, I wish to know more about this person who will be helping with the Rite of Repair upon my Tactical Dreadnaught Armor."

He looked around the room and saw what looked like to be a small spider like object watching him. Watching Aurora and him. he wasn't sure on what was going on, it wasn't something he wanted to see, but it was something like his servo skull for the most part, able to reach high places to watch from.

"I can almost guarantee the teachers will not intrude on your privacy. The kids on the other hand will almost assuredly try, and it's not always we can stop them. The methods they use are rather unrefined thankfully."

Magic was not like learning the mundane rules around. Some kids were crafty, but actual experience only came with age and understanding. Aurora herself had never had problems with the kids personally, but maybe that's because they always screwed up. Aurora pinched the bridge of her nose and rubbed slightly.

"No, of course not. We have different groups for that kind of thing. Unfortunately, subtlety isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity for our survival, and I don't mean that figuratively."

Paradox. It was a force that only mages seemed to be affected by, the universe's actual enforcement of "with great power comes great responsibility." And like a mother, if you got out of hand, you took the punishment for making a mess. Aurora started walking out the auditorium, checking for large groups of people before actually moving out. Satisfied that there weren't too many around, she beckoned to Aurum. They were going to get him a room before he started a fire.

"You'll get used to it soon enough. You're also probably going to end up meeting a few interesting characters that may not fit in well where you come from. They might be a bit strange, but most people here are actually quite nice. Give them the benefit of the doubt yeah? Demonic or otherwise."

There were a few kids and a teacher or two getting a look, but quickly turning back to their duties. This whole situation had occurred on multiple occasions anyways.

"Their names are Solaris Awren and Aternity Awren. Two of my sons. They are the most brilliant technological minds I know, but that may be a mother's bias talking. I'll have them come in at some point and see what they can help you with, if that's acceptable?"

"I see, though I shall try to keep most of my Rites out of site for those who need not see it. I believe that this armour now that I have given it thought may cause problems to those who do not want to see it. It may bring forth... Some issues."

He said running his hand along his breast plate, over the small box like shape that houses his Libris Daemonica. The box is silver with gold lining as well as an angel etched with pieces cut or torn off from strains of battle.

"Indeed. I have costed many of those who I am sworn to protect lives in order to keep my brothers and I, a secret. We are not as subtle as we once thought. through out the years as Daemon hordes come out on more populated worlds, our means to cleans it was a purge by the Holy Order of the Inquisition. Tis almost like casting the world into the closest sun and a shell remains. No life. For that is a burden I must carry from war."

He followed the shorter individual who had reminded him of his old Inquisitor friend. he had a moment of a flash back. He then shook his head and slowly ducked down to get through the door. As he did. The motors began to chug for a moment. A blast of heat came from the exhaust fans as he stood upright once again and followed Aurora.

"It may be a chance to become what I once was. If I can remember what it was. Though, I shall try to give them space from me. I will... Try to be civil. Even if it was with my own mortal enemy. Though, I shall not falter from my Oath shall they attempt to attack humanity. I am sorry. My Oath is my life."

He said, gripping a small brown book with Gold portions strapped to his side by chains. if inspected it had 'Chapter 666' written on it with an odd symbol.

"As long as they can promise I can be present to show them, and perform the proper repair rites. As well as the chant. That will be my only condition. Though their help would be.. Appreciated."

After talking with the girl, she deserved more than being talked down to, but for the most part, he realized that she was probably on his calibure of mental prowess and would be a fight of the mind. Though Aurum with be at a disadvantage due to his mind not having proper rest for about a month.

"The armor in that state? Most likely. People are pretty perceptive to projectile impacts. But strangely, most people are accepting of the strange and unique. It's part of our nature."

Of course there were those entities that naturally scared others like...sentient spiders and the like, but thankfully those sorts of beings were few and far in between; and frankly, they were actually quite pleasant to talk to. If the man standing with her was any indication, he would do quite well.

"Different methods for achieving the same ends, but no matter. I don't mean to cut our conversation short, but I still have work to do I'm afraid. I'll contact my sons in the next few minutes or so and have them come to work on the damage done to your suit. They will guarantee their respect for whatever rituals you are required to perform. I'm certain you'll be at home here, and I'll have an attendant come to take you to your room."

Aurora started heading out the doors.

"And Aurum, welcome to Terra."
