Kiko Tenere

Tenere is a typical Prax warrior, if possibly a bit on the short side. She is muscular but petite, a compact powerhouse standing at 5'3" tall. With her She keeps her brown hair cut short, around neck length at longest, to keep it out of her way.

Even before she left Mes, Tenere had stopped wearing traditional Praxian clothing and instead has taken a liking to the clothing worn by off-worlders, particularly spacers and mercenaries.

Tenere is a free spirit, one who left because she wouldn't be bound by the laws and customs of her people. She has a strict, personal code of honor that she follows: be respectful, keep your word, don't hurt people who can't fight back. Despite this, she's no stiff, hard-ass military type. She loves good drink and better company.

True to her tough persona, Tenere hates her first name and refuses to tell it to anyone. She is convinced that a warrior like herself couldn't be taken seriously if she were seen as cute, and she figures that she is already starting with a penalty due to her height.

Tenere can mess with the nervous system of any creature within around 10' of her. These are usually small things, such as causing your leg to twitch while you run, making your vision or hearing flicker off for a second, or causing a brief sensation of touch. She can only do this about once every twenty seconds or so normally.

The better Tenere knows and has interacted with an individual, the easier this ability becomes to use on them. Someone she knows intimately, she can cause multiple nervous system glitches at once or create more sustained effects. She still has to maintain concentration in these situations.

Tenere is notably stronger, faster, and more durable than a human. These levels, while noticeable in her everyday life, truly come out in bursts of intense activity. Taking a 14 meter standing vertical leap, do a 100 meter dash in 8.4 seconds, and kick a hole through a brick wall with a running start. She is also more durable than a human, difficult to withstand a great degree of blunt force trauma before taking severe injury.

Weakness

Kiko was born as many Prax were, living in the Dominion's shadow. She grew up among the Daughters of Flame, generally accepting their lifestyle but never fully agreeing with their teachings. She kept herself out of mandatory military service by hiding her powers, passing it off as simple luck on her part.

But even as she flourished among her people, Kiko was restless. She left Mes as soon as she was able and wandered the stars, picking up work as a mercenary. She eventually decided to start using her family name, as people beyond Mes called her "cute" and her given name only seemed to exacerbate the issue.

Eventually, word spread that Malara Tor was on a planet called Earth, that she and some spacer had killed Khalida, and there was civil unrest. So she took a ship and made her way to Earth to see what was going on.

She went to the planet Diutune, leaving the Blue Star Company behind and joining the newly formed MalPraxian defense service. She helped make sure everything was set up, including infrastructure and relations with the indigenous people of the planet. Once things were in order, she was sent back to Earth and the Starlight Observation Station to act as an official emissary for the planet and its people.

Has a personal corvette class space ship, an apartment on the space station, and a living stipend for her work.
