Hardening: Kamau can temporarily turn his body or parts of it as hard as diamond, and move normally while doing it. He can only do this from a minute to around 10 minutes, depending on how large the area he hardens is. If Kamau hardens one finger he can keep it up for 10 or so minutes. But if he hardens his whole body Kamau can only stay like that for a minute. If Kamau keeps the hardening up past the time limit his body forcibly turns back to normal.
Long Lifespan: Kamau can live almost 900 years, and when he dies he will turn to stone.
Physique:
-Stone Heart: Kamau's human heart has been replaced with a magical one, that's made of stone. The heart is the reason he is part golem. Kamau's blood has been replaced with liquid minerals and he bleeds grey blood.
-Sustenance: Kamau can survive with human food or by consuming minerals.
-Mineral regeneration: Kamau can recover from injuries and blood loss by consuming minerals, as the minerals take the place of the damaged tissue or lost blood. He cannot, however, recover from fatal injuries with this method.
-Stone Body: Kamau's body is still made of flesh, but thanks to being part golem it's are much tougher than normal human's and as hard to penetrate as the hardest stone.
-Strength: Kamau is supernaturally strong, and at most can lift one ton.

Kamau is originally from another dimension, a parallel version of ours where there is no veil and the existence of magic and supernatural creatures is common knowledge. But the dimension has also been torn apart by a war between species and is now a dystopia.
In that world Kamau was born in Nigeria, at a small but one of the more well-off settlements as a first child to a young couple of giants. But Kamau was born with a weak heart, and was on the brink of death right from the start. His parents, who had already experienced two miscarriages, couldn't bear the thought of losing their child. So they used up all their savings and through magical methods replaced his old, weak heart with one made of enchanted stone, that would spread its minerals across his veins. This heart made Kamau part golem, but it also made him much stronger. Both physically and mentally, for better or worse.
Kamau's parents, who were now penniless, started collecting knowledge and info on America across the ocean. They had heard old stories about a better there, over the great ocean, and they wanted a better life for their children. Kamau lived in Nigeria until he was 7, and then his parents uprooted him and his one younger sibling and left for America.
It took the family several years to travel to America by using the safest routes possible. They finally got there when Kamau had just turned 10. It took them almost another year before they reached Oasis central, the biggest settlement in North America. The family settled there, only to be treated like trash for being outsiders.
By the time he was 15 Kamau had 5 younger siblings that all needed food in their mouths. Back in Nigeria Kamau had begun working as soon as he had been old enough to stand, and in Oasis central he started earning money at 11 years old. And every penny Kamau ever made went to his family. But no matter how hard Kamau worked they lived in poverty, and he wanted to change that. So at 18 Kamau signed up to be a gladiator at the arena. It was a place where people from all walks of life could show off their skills in combat, get a name for themselves or just get rich. He signed up as Olorin Okuta, which meant Stoneheart in his native language, Yoruba.
Kamau quickly earned a reputation for not showing any signs of pain or strife during his battles, and thus earned his gladiator name, the stoic gladiator.
Kamau was a strong fighter and quickly climbed the ranks, becoming more and more popular. According to his wishes and goals Kamau started earning more money, and his family slowly started rising from poverty. Slowly, but surely.
When Kamau was around 23 he met a woman and fell in love. This was something very strange for quite literally stone hearted Kamau, whose emotions ran deep. But the two's love was deep as well, and in no time they had a child on the way. Sadly, however, Kamau's love and his child's mother passed away during childbirth. Kamau was left with a daughter and a broken heart. But thankfully he had his family behind him, and they helped Kamau take care of his daughter as he continued fighting at the arena.
Kamau became a known gladiator and nearly a legend by the time he turned 33. But his life completely changed one day, out of the blue. After a normal day he returned home and went to sleep. And when he came to Kamau was on an entirely different place, a different dimension. On Manta Carlos. He had no recollection of how he ended up there.
Kamau has been on the island since mid-September. He was assisted by the academy after he explained his situation. Kamau goes to cultural classes and is looking for a job, while trying to find out why he was transported here.
