Description: Lanky guy with a man-bun and a short, well-kept beard. Has big, curved, ram-like horns and a short, furry tail.

Often wears a necklace with the fish symbol often associated with christianity. The prayer beads he'll wear around his wrist has charms with those two symbols. Otherwise, standard college kid clothing, leaning towards the preppy and well-put-together end of the spectrum.

Abilities Summary: Can teleport, but only when nobody is looking.

Reputation: A very ardently Christian guy, despite being a demon. He seems to have accepting attitudes towards people from all walks of life, as long as they aren't hurting anyone. Polyamory makes him visibly uncomfortable, but he won't start trouble about it. Wants to become a priest, theologian, or something similar. Has a big heart and likes helping people.

Misc Information: He might be gay, or at the very least not completely straight, but he's definitely a virgin.

NPC Status: Anyone whose character is involved in the DSU or the school can reasonably say they know about him. Feel free to include him in a thread, but tag him in the thread.

Adoption Status: If you really want to make him your PC, dm me with an idea or 2 about what you want to do with him. I might say no.

Job: Substitute teacher, retired scout.

Description: A large woman, standing 7 feet tall and built like a bear. She has a lot of vitality for her age, but between the wrinkles, the grey hairs, and the sounds she makes when she has to get out of her chair, one can tell it isn't what it once was. Mixed Canadian aboriginal descent (she honestly couldn't tell you which kinds)

Abilities Summary:

• Superhuman strength and durability
• Superhuman senses
• Extrasensory perception. She knows and notices things that she "shouldn't" be able to know about, especially (but not only) regarding spiritual matters.
• shapeshifts into a bear or a giant bear-woman hybrid
• Has a very impressive-looking "spirit form" that can phase through walls and shoot bolts of lightning, but using it is a severe risk to her health.

Reputation: Probably one of the sassiest substitutes at Starlight Academy. Popular with the kids. It's easy to get her to tell exciting stories about when she was a scout, when there were less humans and cameras in the world and "you could get away with a lot more."

Misc Information: One of Aranea's moms. Some of the best hugs on Manta Carlos. There are rumors she sold the rights to one of her stories to a local filmmaking group.

NPC Status: Students at the academy can reference things about Desna. People who play one of Desna and Juniper's adopted children can also play Desna.

Job: Columnist

Description: A graceful-looking woman with green eyes and long, green hair. She has a short pair of antlers which seem to be made of wood. Her skin can sometimes resemble tree bark, in a certain light or if you aren't looking directly at it. She doesn't look older than mid 30s. Smells of flowers and morning dew.

Abilities Summary:

• Either immortal or very long-lived.
• Can heal injuries with a touch.
• Even being near her can make one feel healthier.
• Woodland creatures and related supernatural beings see her as a friend and vice versa, even if they have not met her before.
• Can speak to plants and animals, even non-sapient ones.

Reputation: She writes a column about gardening, wildlife conservation, and the history of the island. she has been here since the early 1900s, and used to teach biology on Starlight Academy's faculty. Has a wife (Desna) who looks much older than her.

Misc Information: Her marriage to Desna has been her third, and by far her longest. One of Aranea's moms. Looks about as old as Aranea, which weirds some people out.

NPC Status: Anyone can know about her column in the paper or recognize her name. Anyone who plays one of her and Desna's adopted children can play her.
