Appearance Description:
From every bit of his appearance, one would be able to quickly and clearly tell that Kai is very definitively not human. Oh, he has a humanoid enough form in general; same structured arms and hands, same structured arms and feet, but there is where it ends. His relatively lean, 6' tall form is covered in jet-black fur, turning to dark grey at the tips of his vulpine ears and bushy tail, as well as along his chin and down his stomach. A relatively thin vulpine muzzle and black canine nose make up a decent bit of his face, while a head of somewhat longer black hair crowns his head. A small red marking sits on either cheek, while his eyes are themselves a blood red color.
In regards to attire... he really doesn't have much, generally speaking. A vest left open in the front is a personal favorite (especially given that anything that closes in front is quite uncomfortable for him), as well as a simple pair of pants with nothing ever to be seen upon his feet, no matter the circumstance. Usually black or tan, on rare occasions white; beyond that, he doesn't have much of a wardrobe to speak of.
Personality Description: Stubborn, aggressive, and awkward are each very good words to describe Kai's personality in general. He'll rarely back down from anything, rarely thinks he's wrong about anything, and in actual social situations... he doesn't do so well. He believes in constant, clear hierarchy, with himself preferably at the top, and anyone that stands in the way of that is someone he probably needs to knock down a peg or a few... if they're male, at any rate. If they're female is where most of the awkwardness starts; most of the time, he'll probably seem like he's not sure whether to act the part of a gentleman or act the part of an alpha male, and often ends up at an odd, uncertain space in-between.
Thus, a lot of the time, he's not actually sure what to do with himself, especially at such times as he picks a fight and loses (which is rather more often than he'd like to admit, especially given how often he does pick fights). Whether he wants to make friends or wants to just be at the top of some pseudo-pack of sorts is anyone's guess, really, leaving Kai himself to occupy some awkward space off to the side of a lot of things and really quite unclear how to handle any of it. He throws himself frequently into the fray all the same... even if he does feel like it's pushing him further from the actual point in him leaving home and being around others.

Fear Aura: As a natural, albeit demonic, predator, many could say that Kai has a certain air about him. Naturally intimidating for some, most animals tend to avoid him because of it, as it always has some presence. When he's particularly enraged, however, is by far the worst; some have compared him to a terrible spectre at such times, not to say those brave enough can't stand up to him nonetheless.
Demon Physiology: Given that he's quite definitively non-human, Kai has a different physiology, making him immune to most human (and even animal) illnesses in general, alongside greater senses of sight, smell, and hearing. Even with that being said, however, he's not completely immune, by any means. He's still susceptible to minor infections, and chicken pox (contrary to the widely held belief of the common cold) is his prime bane, leaving him quite uncomfortable for a month in his past. And with greater senses of sight, smell, and hearing come greater sensitivity to bright lights, strong scents, and loud noises; get him with one of those, and it'll be none too pleasant for him.
Along with all this, he gets along in the night better than any other time, especially under a new moon. During the night, his physical attributes increase somewhat, though given that he has to adapt, he's more susceptible to bright lights than ever.
Biography: Born and raised a demon, Kai was taught from an early age that most everything else was (probably) inferior and demons were superior. While it seemed twinged a little with uncertainty, that teaching was at the core of his upbringing, alongside a society that favored the proven strong standing above the just as proven weak. 'Twas the society that he was to have a part in as he grew, and have a part in it he did. Not a very good part, granted, but a part nonetheless.
Eventually the fact settled clear in his head, however, that he wasn't good enough. Not yet, anyway. He'd been losing more than he was winning thanks to various factors... most notably, that he didn't have any overt powers to speak of, besides perhaps his intimidating presence. This was clear enough not the place for him, and he needed a change. Something different, something possibly easier, or at the very least somewhere he could actually grow more efficiently. It was the 'human realm', so to speak, that he turned to; more specifically, a place with seemingly some concentration of non-humans. Strictly speaking, at least. For now it would have to do, and with some assitance from a few he had been able to win against and thus force to submit to him, he left.
Only to find himself quickly enough being carted off to this 'school' place. With... more people than he was really comfortable being around so immediately, given how different from him they all were.
He quickly doubted that this was a very good idea, but he was already here and had no way back... so nothing for it but to try and make something of it.
