Just staring at the sea

As the sea moved in and out repeatedly and swiftly, a relaxing noise is created. This is perfect for a girl like Jessie, who is normally hyperactive. She was strolling down the beach looking at the relaxing seaside until she has found the perfect spot to lay down on. The sand stuck on her feet, but she didn't mind too much. In fact, it was quite comfortable and warm due to the softness. She changed to a black bikini and set up her mat where she sat and unpacked her basket. She got out some food and drinks and a magazine she carried around. She set up a small picnic and helped herself to a ham sandwich. The pleasant sound of the sea, the warmth of the beach and the blue sky with rarely any clouds make this the perfect place for Jessie to start her picnic.

Fabian smiled when he noticed a girl not too far from him. He was still new to the academy and didn't have many friend and was determined to change that. He grinned and neared her.

"A picnic by yourself miss?" He asked curiously, already wearing teal colored swiming trunks and a black shirt.

Jessie turned to see a boy in trunks and a black shirt, still eating her ham sandwich. Once she has swallowed a bit, she moved her brown hair from her eyes to see him properly. "Unfortunately, yes" she said, giggling slightly. "You can join in if you want. I don't think I can eat all of this" she said, smiling. "I'm Jessica, but everyone calls me Jessie. What is your name?"

"Now that's sad," he replied with his usual smile, lightly teasing her. "That would actually be nice, I still don't meet too many people around here," he confessed.

He heard the rest of her words and nodded. "Nice meeting you Jessie, I'm Fabian," he introduced himself.

"Nice meeting you too, Fabian." Jessie replied. "To be honest, I've only met one person other than you so far, but we didn't meet in good circumstances. I'm glad we both met under the perfect circumstance though..." Jessie said, trailing off to a more relaxed tone. The beach is starting to have its effects. "Want a bite?" she offered, holding out a cheese sandwich.

"That's not good. Meeting the person it bad circumstances I mean." He explained. He stretched and nooded to her, taking the sandwich.

"Thanks, it looks good," he said with a laugh.

Once Fabian has taken the sandwich, Jessie slumped down to a lying position. She stared at the sky and imagined what it would be like if she didn't move to the school. She didn't even know at this point why she went, but her mother told her she has powers far greater than even her father's. All she needed to do was find it. While the subject of powers were in her mind, she asked Fabian "so, do you have any powers?"

Fabian took a bite and was about to speak but remembered his manners so he swallowed before speaking. "Yeah, just found out I had them so I'm not that good with them, but I can animate things, like bring them to life," he explained. He smiled at her. "What about you?"

Jessie widened her eyes with shock. Could she lie and pretend she had powers. She didn't have any... not that she knew. She hesitated a lot, and then wished she was invisible. Then, within the blink of an eye, nobody could see her. She was still at the beach. In fact, she was sitting where she was before. She had become invisible. "Woah" a scream cried out, as Jessie wished herself visible again. Within another blink of an eye, she was visible. "Uhh, that I suppose" she said hesitantly. She then thought to herself "Wow, that is totally awesome." That was all she could think for the next few minutes.

((OoC: Soz for the late posting :P))

Fabian seemed confused at her comments so he thought for a second before he seemed to get what in the world had she meant with that. He grinned victirously, "You're new to it aren't you?" he asked her,, already expecting the answer. "It's pretty cool though."
