Sazz was heading into work, as he often did on weekends. He had his headphones on, and was just dancing away humming the tune a bit as he made his way down the street. He'd just gotten a new uniform to acomodate his more recent physical changes. Tail swishing he adjusted his messenger bag with his signature grin.

What he didn't know was how interesting his day was going to turn out. He headed into the movie theater he worked at and got himself clocked in.

Ida was going door to door, asking people if they needed help but not really getting any takers. It seemed everybody thought she was trying to sell them something. People were dumb. It was during these travels, that Ida came upon a familiar face. Sazz.

She hid herself to the side as the guy made his way down the street, peering at him from behind some guy's bushes. Luckily, it didn't seem as if he'd spotted him.

Sazz was her natural enemy. Both of the time's she'd run into him, he'd made a mockery of her. The worst of it, there was nothing she could do. He had something off about him that shouted dangerous whenever she was around him. And given her current situation, she knew it would be unwise to actually fight this guy or anybody for that matter. But perhaps she could get away with it if she stayed undetected...

Ida trailed the guy, keeping a far distance back and staying quiet. She was pretty unfamiliar with most technology, so she had no idea what he had on his head and that she probably didn't need to be so careful. When he went into the theater, Ida followed suit, kinda unsure of what the building was. When she got inside, she tucked herself around a bend and watched, gathering information.

Sazz had set his bag down in the break room, and got right to work. He was working at the refreshment stand this shift, and when needed he'd be called off to help clean up the theaters between showings. He made idle chat with his coworkers, and actually did his job fairly well.

He still had yet to fully realize a certain imp was on his trail. He was getting a faint inkling that there was something up though. He ignored it however in favor of making customers that were headed in happy.

This was some sort of restaurant type thing. It seemed that this was where Sazz worked, earned money, and also where he got those chocolate things from. Ida couldn't help but stare at the large assortment of snacks during her investigation, but didn't let it completely distract her from the task at hand.

Sazz was... good with people by the looks of things. None of the people he was talking to looked even slightly upset with him. It was kind of sickening. These people were nothing but rude to her, but as soon as Sazz was the one they were dealing with, everything turned into sunshine and rainbows. She was willing to bet it was because they were afraid of him, of that stupid air that surrounded him.

He needed to get taken down a peg, but Ida wasn't honestly too sure how to do it. Perhaps she could get him fired, she could stuff that candy in his bag and frame him for stealing it, but that was going to be difficult to do without being caught.

She was going to need to be patient and wait for an opening.

It would be another hour before Ida would get the chance to make any sort of move. Sazz was called to help clean up a couple of the theaters in between showings. In particular, there was a nasty mess in the first theater as someone had apparently inked themselves during a horror movie.

Of course Sazz cheerily went about doing his job, leaving Ida ample time and opportunity to implement her revenge.

After a solid hour had passed, a very bored Ida was left sitting on the floor around a corner, munching on a half empty bag of popcorn that somebody had thrown out just moments earlier. She was nearly at her limit for just sitting there doing nothing while Sazz continued to succeed at his job, when the guy finally left his post to do who knows what.

It was time to move! She dropped her popcorn and stealthily made her way over to the stand. It was going to be hard to carry that stuff to his bag, wherever it even was, without being detected, so she figured her first move was to get the bag. And with a little bit of expert sleuth work, she spotted the room where he'd gone in when he'd first arrived.

The only issue with this was a girl inside, who, upon closer inspection, was talking to someone on one of those phone device things. She could see the bag, and that girl's back was turned to it, so Ida decided to just risk it. She bolted in quietly, snatched the bag and skedaddled right back out. She didn't hear that girl say anything, so she figured she had succeeded.

With the first part done, she slunk on over to the snacks. Her height actually came in handy, since she could easily stay hidden behind the stand as she shoveled snacks into the bag. The result was a pretty obvious section of the snack selection disappearing, and Ida holding Sazz's bag, filled to the brim with goodies. With that done, she started to creep back to the break room.

As she was getting ready to make her way from the stand to the room, the girl from earlier walked out, practically giving Ida a heart attack. Luckily, she didn't seem to notice anything, so this actually made things easier. She went in and placed the bag where it was before, unzipping it just enough to make the contents visible, and then placing one last chocolate bar at the floor by the bag.

With the deed done, she went back around to her spot by the corner and got ready to watch the scene unfold.

She lifted up the popcorn she left behind and smirked. This was gonna be good.

It took a bit, but everything had been cleaned up. And now it was time for Sazz to go on his break. He headed into the break room, and imediately noted that something was off. There his bag was, stuffed full of candy from the snack stand. As if that wasn't weird or sketchy or anything. He squinted for a moment, then he took a few whiffs of his bag. Specifically the candy.

It was definitely someone doing it on purpose but why. Also why was it so sloppy, as if they didn't have security cameras. Without missing a beat, Sazz returned the candy, and informed his boss that "something was fucky."

He focused back on his work, but was now on high alert for possible culprits. It was all just a matter of how to handle this saboteur when he caught them.

Blissfully unaware that security cameras existed, Ida continued to munch on her popcorn, at first with what was the most content expression she'd worn in a while. Though as time passed, nothing played out quite as she had expected. By the time she was finished her popcorn, Sazz seemed to have discovered the candy, put it back and continued his job normally.

Ida gripped the empty bag tightly, tucking back behind the corner entirely and grinding her teeth. Now what? She couldn't just admit defeat or something lame like that. But what could she do? It was a lot easier to mess with people when she had her powers. She could change her appearance or easily swap two random objects around. Without them, her options were limited.

She had to do something that would mess with him without getting herself caught... "Ah ha!" Ida quickly started trying to call over other customers. She was being quiet about it, so the first few either ignored her or didn't notice, but eventually she got a tall satyr looking guy to come.

As soon as she had his attention, she asked him for a favor and explained her situation. A lie. She explained that the guy at the stand was a horrible person who had cheated on her recently and that she was trying to get back at him in some way. She asked that the guy go give him some trouble, but not to mention who she was or anything about her to the guy.

The satyr nodded, giving a heroic smile and assuring her that he'd have her back and she gave a fake "Oh, thank you so much." before re-assuming her position behind the corner. This time, it would work.

The satyr waited in line patiently before making it to the front and speaking with Sazz. "Hey, there's an imp girl over there, lying to customers and trying to get them to mess with you." He spoke nonchalantly, then pointed to the corner Ida was hidden behind. The guy was a regular at the theater and didn't buy into a word of the nonsense Ida tried to sell him.

From a distance it looked like Sazz was some level of offended. Enough to step away from his station. He let his coworker know what was happening and went off with the customer. It probably looked like they were going to have it out as they disappeared out of sight. In truth Sazz was getting the rundown from the customer. He slipped him a couple free tickets for his troubles. Everything made sense now. There was only one imp that he knew of who would cause him this much mild irritation.

He kept himself out of plain sight as he made his way over to the culprit. It was his turn to have some fun with this while he could. "You know, if you were actually clever about this, and an entitled insufferable gremlin I might actually like you more. You really suck, you know that?"

"Oh my gosh." Ida started cackling as the satyr and Sazz headed off. This was too good. They were going to fight? This was a perfect win win situation. Either Sazz was going to get the crap beaten out of him by this awesome satyr guy, or he was going to win and definitely end up getting fired. The only downside to any of this was that Ida wanted to watch it happen, it was less fun this way.

She was left to her imagination. Though her imagination was priceless. She was left sitting there giggling into her hands, until a familiar voice caused her to suddenly freeze and look up. "S-sazz?" She squeaked his name, but then managed to gain a little composure. "What are you talking about? I haven't done anything. I'm just here minding my own business."
