Event Private Just dance partners?

Oh, Helena knew Destra did a whole lot more than just hit people. But Helena coukd bet fighting was one of his favourite things to do anyway. Not that there was anything wrong with that.
"Wow, what a shock. I feel like I've lived in a lie."
Helena said and chuckled, it was clear she was joking.

"Well then, let's go have fun. I haven't danced in a while so I might step on your toes but you can take it."
Helena grinned a bit and took the lead, pulling Destra along towards the dance floor.

Helena squinted a bit at Destra, and raised her other brow slightly.
"You're lucky I don't jump to challenges that easily, or I would definitely try to step on your toes."
Oh, she was definitely going to try and step on his toes once or twice.

Helena took the lead without hesitation, and enjoyed every second. She had kind of missed the feeling when your dress flutters when turning, and being able to be close to a handsome man and have a good reason. Although now she always had a good reason since Destra was her boyfriend.
Thinking that felt really nice.
"What did you expect? And I'm asking seriously, you made me curious."

"Oh yeah, you're very charming alright."
Helena said, the way she said it seemed like sarcasm but she was serious and her smile was serious. Destra really was pretty damn charming, Helena wouldn't have fallen for him if he wasn't.
"Well, as long as you're not disappointed it's all good. And if you like it there's a bunch of events like this I have access to. Hell, I think there's one next week. So you can go again whenever you want. Well, on the condition that you go with me."
Helena chuckled and tried to make Destra spin a bit.

"Looming threats, huh."
Helena said thoughtfully, a bit more serious for a second. There were still threats looming around in this world. They were less intimidating, covered and hiding, but they were still there. At least for Helena. But she never stayed gloomy for too long and smiled again soon enough.
"The only threat right now is whether or not someone gets punched into the punch bowl."

The way Destra really went along with the spin made Helena want to laugh, but she held it back and made do with an amused smile and a chuckle.
"Oh, right, school. I almost forgot about that since I was homeschooled up to now. But where there's a will there's a way."

"Of course I realize that, or more like I hope for that. Imagine, Punch punch incident, Manta Carlos edition."
Helena laughed, and now she tried to swiftly step on Destra's toes by stepping closer, making it look like part of the dance, and stomping down when her hem covered Destra's feet from himself.

Of course Destra had seen it coming, Helena hadn't actually expected to succeed on the first try. Destra was a dragon, for goodness' sake. What mattered most was that she tried, and she'd try again. Besides, the end result wasn't bad as Destra spun Helena and dipped her, and she smiled up at him and laughed a bit.

"We both know I can't win at speed, I'm on human levels at that. But I can still take you by surprise."
Helena's smile got a bit sly as she said that.
