Luna was tired. Reeeeeally tired. But she didn't want to leave yet. Her housemate (used to be two, but now one since one of them just moved out a few days ago) has been being a real prick to her lately, and she was honestly tired of it. After all she's been through, she's kind of had enough. Luna's had to lose her sister, her birth family, her friends...Her adopted family exiled her fearing 'Ahri' would come back (who made her lose everything by the way), even though Luna weakened her enough to the point where she can't return. She was thankful for her housemate finding her and getting her here to Manta Carlos, but past that there is no friendship between them. She barely has friends here even, and the people that she's met so far are either acquaintances or people that seem...afraid of her. Why though? Do they know who she is somehow..? Has someone...betrayed her again?

"Sick of this...sick of this whole fucking thing..." , she mumbled to herself. She's been doing that for the past few minutes now. Luna was originally just walking through the woods to get some air and to vent, but it ended up being a crying session instead. She had to sit down. Luna sat under a tree that was facing a beautiful moonlit clearing, with a few small graves scattered here and there. She supposed it was because of the cemetery nearby.

Luna tried her best to breathe in, and out. She tried to admire the clear sky above and imagine she was up there with the stars like she always does. That usually calmed her down, but not that time. It just made her sad to think about it because of the fact that her sister used to do the same thing when she was...alive. Back when she was younger. Just thinking about her sister set her to sobbing...

"Nononono...please d-don't think...*hic*...Ahria...I'm s-sorry..."

Oh boy.
Here Lili was, strolling the clear moonlit night, searching for - well who else? Her bro-bro. She had a doubt that he was up at such a time, or that he was actually up at all (really!) - but a memory struck her.
They were both somewhere around their early teens - 11 or something, she thought, sitting on the hill where they then lived, looking up at the moon. They'd talk about school - mostly Nix's failed attempts to get into the soccer team and her own failed attempts to get into the top clique at school...
They were so close, back then. And they still were - two peas in a pod. Until, of course, he'd left last year to come here. Sure, he'd sent her a lot - A LOT - of emails over the months, but...
She sighed in the cool, crisp night air.
I wish things were a bit different. Everything moves so fast...
Maybe it was because she'd lost herself in the night. No, not philosophically - she'd literally gotten lost in the darkness. And, whoop-de-doo - there was a cemetery nearby. She shivered...
And then she heard crying. Scared to death, but determined to figure out what that crying was, she slowly and carefully descended the hill in front of her, being careful not to snap her ankles (because, and this might have been a bad decision on her part,, the heels she'd chosen to wear were much too high for this stupid hill).
At the bottom waited a girl.... crying. Amelia's face fell. Oh, poor girl!
She quietly stepped up to the girl, and in a timid but hopefully reassuring voice -
"Are you okay?"

Luna jumped up to a standing position at the sudden voice only to fell over backwards on the grassy ground of the clearing. Tears were still clearly falling from her eyes as she spoke. She didn't even realize that the person standing there was concerned for her. She was too dazed...

"W-who a-are you?? W-what are you d-doing h-here!?"

She was definitely panicking in that moment. It was hard to see in that light, since the woman was still under the trees, in the dark.

"I d-don't know w-what y-you're d-doing here out s-so l-late b-but....I g-got s-swords..!! A-and b-bows!! A-and...."

Luna started sobbing again then. Even if she wasn't bluffing, which she wasn't, Luna wouldn't have been able to summon anything in that state.
All rational thought seemed to have left her mind. Luna couldn't think, couldn't feel. She didn't even notice that when she fell over, her hand had slammed itself onto a small rock in the ground and it was hurt. Even if she did notice, she wouldn't have cared.

"....*sob*.......P-please...."

Luna wasn't sure what she was asking...

Oh, goodness - she'd scared the girl by trying to help. With a quick step back and her hands up in surrender, she faced the girl, uncertain of whether she'd be attacked or not. The girl in front of her seemed to be around her age, although by no means did she look like she was having fun. She was crying, too - big gross tears that trailed down her cheeks. Amelia's heart went out to her.

"I don't want to hurt you!" she assured the girl in a shaky voice. "I-I just want to know if you're okay.... Y-You don't seem to be very happy..." Concern dripped from her voice, evident in her eyes, traces of it in all the tiny creases of her perfectly-done makeup.

"I got lost," Amelia explained carefully and slowly, drawing her arms closer around herself to protect from the chilly night air. "trying to find my brother. He's always in weird places at weird times." Still taking care to not seem menacing, she stepped around a rock - which Luna promptly smacked her head on. Worried, Amelia knelt down. "Oh, be careful! W-Watch your head!"

Luna slowly but surely lost the panic in her voice as she realized what the woman said. She looked around quickly checking to see if there were other people around, but there didn't seem to be any. Of course, it was too dark out to see, and her vision was blurry too.

"I'm n-not...I-I-I'm n-not....*sob*..."

She couldn't see anything. She couldn't hear anything over her own sobs. When the woman moved around the rock Luna was near, she freaked out for a moment at the movement and smacked her head on said rock. Though it was a very delayed reaction, she flipped herself over away from the woman and clutched her head and screamed. Loudly.

"F-FUCKING G-G-GODDAMMIT THAT....that....t-that...*sob*...h-hurt...*sob*"

Luna curled herself into a ball, hiding her head in her knees. Her cries were muffled by her legs.

Suddenly she spazzed out and screams, "S-SHUT THE H-HELL U-UP S-....*sob*....F-FUCK OFF!!"

Luna seemed to have forgotten that the woman was there. She wasn't yelling at her, but yelling at...someone else.

"Please, calm down! I won't hurt you.... I won't!" Amelia insisted, looking terrified but determined as she took a few steps, scuttling back as the girl burst into a swearing fit - It kind of reminded her of her brother's many, many attempts at forcing thought out of his head... back at the cave...
She shuddered and shook her head hard, as if to fling any thought of the cave away. Yeah, she might be similar to her brother... but she was crying now, and screaming, and there wasn't much Lili could do about it other than watch worriedly.
It seemed at first that she was yelling at Amelia, what with her cussing, and naturally upon hearing that, she herself curled up a little, wrought by more bad memories that seemed to roll over her.
They were both hurting, she realized. They were both terriby, terribly hurting. Maybe because of different things, but hurt all the same.
She waddled over to the girl and tried to put a hand on her shoulder, hopefully grounding her from the voices in her head. Amelia herself got those, too... It wasn't that fun.
"It's going to be okay..."

Luna felt something touch her shoulder and she immediately flared up and slammed her hand across the person's arm. She was so into her screaming fit that she didn't realize that who touched her was not...Her.

"L-LEAVE M-ME ALONE YOU B-BITCH!! D-DON'T T-TOUCH...m-m-me..."

It was the woman that gently touched her shoulder wasn't it..? Luna looked at the woman in fear, realizing what she did.

"ImsorryImsorryImsorry....I d-didn't m-mean to I d-didn't mean t-to I didn't m-mean t-to...."

She was starting to hyperventilate. She couldn't breathe. Think. See. Anything. She tried to breathe in and out, which calmed her a little bit, but she was still sobbing...so much.

As soon as her hand had even touched the girl's shoulder, she was forced back, slapped by the very woman she was trying to help. A.... A b-word. W-Was that what she was? What she was seen as? A b-word? Her hand recoiled, and she though she curled up further, taking a few steps backwards, falling on her favorite skirt... Her heels hurt - they dug into her ankles as if to cut them off completely.
A few moments passed, mostly in shock and fear, as a flood of memories from the cave invaded her brain, but wanting desperately to help, she again shook her head and refocused on the woman in front of her, who was... also recoiling in fear?
Am i really... that much of a bother?
"It's okay.... You didn't mean to. I-I know that. It's okay. C-Can.. Do you-u want a h-hug?"

Luna noticed immediately the hurt on the woman's face when she fell over after she slapped her. She tried to process what just happened and immediately blurted out a few words.

"I'm s-sorry! It w-wasn't you at all i-it w-w-was....s-someone else. Y-your not w-what I c-c-called you a-at all...*sob* ...I'm s-s-so s-sorry..."

She sat up at that point and buried her face into her knees. She tried to think, to feel. To stop crying. But that only made it worse. The woman said something else, and Luna answered her question.

"I-I-i....I t-think...*sob*...."

Luna couldn't speak, so all she could really muster was a little, barely noticeable nod while her face was still in her knees.

The hurt Amelia wore on her own face was mirrored in the other woman's. She hadn't seen that much hurt, so much fear... ever since the cave. On her brother. She swallowed her pride, the side that told her to act cold, and waddled back over to Luna, concern now being evident on her face.
"Hey, it's alright." Amelia gave the girl a reassuring smile. "I know i'm not a b-word. It's okay.... I know h-how it feels to not mean something."
Reluctantly, she slipped an arm around the stranger and sat next to her, using the other hand to loosen her shoes, because if the slap hadn't killed her feet, then these heels would.
"I don't know why you're crying... You're really pretty," Amelia told her, kicking her feet slightly so that the heels would fall off. "What's your name, i-if I can ask?"
