Just a walk....

"I'm partial to the latter." He said, almost chortling under his breath. "Then again, fate isn't completely out of the question."

Xaen shoved his hands into the pockets of his duster, and pulled out a set of lightly mirrored sunglasses. Slipping the wrap-around frames on his face, he looked up at the blue sky.

"So, what all is there to do around here?" He said, glancing at Ithen out of the corner of his eye.

'Well this is a school. There are classes where we recieve our fine education, and a lovely cafeteria for our nutritious lunches...There's also the city nearby, and the forbidden area, and so forth.' Hs shrugged. 'I'm not the best person to ask, I mostly just wander, seeking entertainment.'

"Sounds good. I'm actually getting kind of hungry, so if you could steer us in the direction of these 'nutritious lunches' I would be MOST indebted to you." Xaen said, his lips curving into a wide smile. "And these classes you speak of, how often do these devils happen? Is it a kind of mandatory thing?" He quipped, chuckling, "Or is it more of a easy come - easy go life style?" Nearly out of breath, he stopped with the silliness before it overcame him completely. Sighing, he held out his hand, palm up, and created a tiny tornado in it. The three inch tall dervish spun around his olive skin until he snapped his fingers, and ceased the little spectacle.

He watched the tornado with interest, and then looekd to Xaen. 'Right-o, but we'll have to head back to the school.' He glanced to where the school was behind them, and tried to determine whether it would be shorter to turn back, or just continue walking around. As he did this he continued, 'As for the classes, and can't really help you there. Seeing a how I have only managed to attend a few of them.'

"Ahh well, that's ok. What'd be easier, just turning around now, or do should we just finish our circle around this glorious lake of ours to get back to the school?" Xaen said, fidgeting with the wind as they walked, spinning a small tornado here, and then a ball of wind there, playwork really. Cocking an eyebrow, he looked over the mirrored lenses at Ithen, awaiting his response.

He shrugged and glanced behind them again. 'I'm not sure which would be shorter.' He stopped walking, and turned to Xaen. 'I suppose turninng back would be faster.' Shrugging once again he added, 'Whatever's good with you.'
