Thomasin exited the changing room with a towel wrapped loosely around her body. She wasn't able to wrap it tightly due to her wings, so she simply held it in place with one hand. There were not many people around so she felt considerably less afraid as she walked into the room she had been instructed to go to. If not for her wings she would have opted to wear a robe as she moved about, but given the circumstances a towel was fine.
Once in the room, she took a moment to look around. It was as she would have expected. The walls were a soft blue color, and the gentle lighting aided them to create a rather calm environment. The color scheme for everything else was various shades of blues and whites which helped her to feel settled. On the far larger wall hung a rather large abstract picture that reflected the color scheme. In the middle of the room sat a cushioned massage table. It was one of the ones with the hole in it so that she could lay on her stomach and see through the table to the floor below. Finally, on a nearby wall, there was a shelf and cabinets that had various oils, candles and other things that she did not recognize.
There was no one else here yet, so she climbed up onto the table and laid down. she made sure to carefully adjust her tail as she got into position to wait for whoever would be coming to take care of her. Se had paid for a massage and shedding assistance. Shedding itself was not difficult for her, after all, she had only her tail, limbs and a few odd places to peel, but the idea of having her scales massaged far too good to pass up.
It was now while laying on the table that she noticed for the first time that there was music playing. It was instrumental and soft and accompanied the sounds of a babbling brook. It was very soothing to listen to and was a nice break from the harsh sounds of the city. Even the smell of lilac seemed infused into the air. Thinking back to it there had been questions on her paperwork about things that relaxed her, one of which pertained to scents that she preferred. It was clear that this room had been prepared for her while she had removed her clothing.
It wasn't long before she heard the door open, and someone enter the room.
