Xing smiled a little, it was odd fighting someone like this, in a playful manner, no life or death, just two people enjoying the thrill of it all. It reminded him of home, of simpler times, sparring with his siblings in the mountains.

His sharp eyes watched her move, watched her go on the offensive, she didn't have his experience despite being the same age. Xing's tail gave him a tiny push forward, just enough to put a little momentum into his step.

The monkey man would spin on his heel, sending a kick to meet her, he didn't have natural super strength like many beings on the island did, and he'd lost his ability to access the other zodiacs, but he was fast and agile and very well trained.

Yuna felt the kick connect on her chest and her body hitting the ground.

Yuna had made the cardinal mistake in fighting. She had dropped her guard and got sloppy. If her previous coach were to have seen this, he would have just sighed and yelled at her after the fact. Yuna should have been ready for the kick, but since she thought that she had the advantage, she had abandoned everything she had learned.

The kick itself hurt, not supernaturally of course, but enough to hurt after she had been knocked down. Yuna gasped for air as the kick to the chest had knocked the air out of her lungs. It felt like a vaccum cleaner was shoved straight down her esophagus just for the purpose of taking out the air inside. Yuna tried to recover as fast as she could, but there was a limit at which she could recuperate.

"That.." cough "Was a nice kick" Yuna said raspily

He'd taken a breath, looking at her on the ground before stepping over to her. "And you, are strong and stupidly tough," he'd tease and chuckle before crouching beside her and offering her his hand, "we're gonna have to do this again."

Xing would help her up if she let him, giving her a playful smile, "got all that godly energy out? Or you wanna go another round?" He could very much keep going if need be, though he would be sore in the morning.

The zodiac would stretch a bit, "maybe we both needed it," he hadn't really found a whole lot of vents for things. "That said, I seem to remember promising someone some drinks," he'd flash a grin, "hope you don't have any other plans tonight."

Yuna sighs as she smiles back. she should have been mad, she would have been mad, she could have been mad, but she just wasn't mad losing the spar. The idea of spending a bit more time with the first friend that she made on the island was more than appealing enough to her in order for her to just ignore her anger.

"I guess my night just got free enough for drinks!"

Yuna smiles as she gets up. She does a few checks on her body, stretches, and put on her jacket.

Xing would chuckle in and pluck a bit of grass from her hair, "good, I know just the perfect place." He'd flash a grin, "never gone drinking with a god before," while not a god, he was a divine being of Chinese mythology. "Well let's get going Yuna," and so he'd lead her off, to continue their crazy night.
