Juliet has an existing 'base' power which is a magical deck of tarot cards. Currently it does almost nothing, and I'm going to rewrite it with the expansion of its first proper power.
Yes, it's a yugioh reference. Sort of. Yugioh might be reference back to this.
For training I plan to show Juliet regularly using her cards, pulling cards, etcetc. They're a regular part of her life, and I also (if I can find someone) plan to have someone tell her the deck in question is magic. Future upgrades will unlock more cards.Tarot Cards: Juliet's deck of tarot cards is not what they seem. The cards themselves are magic, and as Juliet becomes increasingly attuned to them, the magic manifests itself. At any point, Juliet can pull a card from her deck. If the card is an effect she has not yet unlocked, she'll have a slight boost to her overall health (less likely to get sick, slightly better stamina, etc). This isn't very different from simply taking a multivitamin.
The real effect is when fate has Juliet draw a card she has bonded with. Pulling that card will activate a specific effect, assuming the conditions are correct.
Current Possible Cards:
Ten of Swords:Juliet's target becomes pinned by swords of light for a minute. They are unable to move their lower half from the position it's in. This effect is twice as powerful on demons and other creatures with a weakness to holy magic. The swords do no damage, even if the target is weak to holy or light effects.
