Juliet has a strong desire to be loved and bask in affection. All her life she was taught that if she behaved herself and was a good girl, someone would take her and love her. After years of that sort of mental programming, she has been left very submissive.
She is a bubbly and happy girl, with many romantic ideas about the world. She believes in true love, love at first sight, and that love conquers all. She tries to see the good in people, even when the bad is all that looks back at her. She is Loyal to a fault.
While she can be easily flustered or embarrassed it is actually rather difficult to make her mad. This isn't to say she isn't an emotional person, She is, after all, a teenage girl in body, and subject to all the emotional highs and lows that go with hormonal changes.
Species Abilities:
Catlike Physiology
Being a Cat Girl has its perks for sure. Juliet is far more agile and graceful than her human counterparts. She is a natural acrobat, often getting herself into places that few would dare. Her tail is what allows her to balance and get around much like a normal cat.
She also possesses effective night vision, much like a regular cat would. During points of low light or darkness, her pupils will grow in size allowing more light in, granting her the ability to see where others cant.
Juliets other sense are also improved, specifically her sense of smell, and her sense of hearing. These are roughly 50% better than that of a human.
Powers:
None
History:
Juliet is a Cat Girl. She, like her siblings, was genetically engineered to be sold as a domestic pet. She is not the first generation, nor will she be the last. In truth, she is nothing remarkable that hasn't already been seen in Domestic Cat Girls. She is really just one of a million mass produced creatures available for pet ownership. That is the cruel truth of Kitten mills.
She was the third born in a litter of five kittens. There had been nearly a dozen litters in the early spring group. By default, this made her one of the oldest of her year, 2012.
Like her siblings and peers, Juliet would live a relatively mundane life. She had been engineered to age faster, at least up until a certain point. During this time she was given many classes on things that the Mill had deemed appropriate for all of their Cat Girls to know. Many of these classes had no real value aside from contributing to her overall adoptability. Classes for Juliet included things such as Cuteness and how to present herself to a new master, personal grooming, meal preparation, sex ed, and Expectations of a Cat Girl.
Naturally given her life, she had no basis of comparison for what is wrong and right, so all of these things seemed like they were normal and appropriate. Even more so when the mill workers would insist that mastering these courses would guarantee her chance for adoption.
As it would turn out, Adoption was never a real option for Juliet. She had managed to draw the eye of the mill owners, and they would make her part of their advertising campaign. She would go on to model many of the various Official Cat Girl brand clothing options that could be purchased for a small fee.
Despite the mill having no intention of selling her, Juliet was still led to believe that one day she would end up in a nice home all her own. This was the driving force in her life, her desire to be adopted and loved.
Not long after her 5th birthday, the Mill owners would receive a tip that they were going to be raided for violation of human rights. As it turns out, the Cat Girl breeding and sales are highly illegal.
All of the Cat Girls were left in their cages with neither food nor water. Over the next two weeks, almost all of them perished before the raid was finally conducted. Scouts from Manta Carlos as well as local authorities stormed the facility only to discover they were too late. The breedes were long gone, and only a handful of Cat Girls remained.
It was while Juliet was recovering in a hospital on Manta Carlos that she actually received her name. Up until that point, she had simply been referred to by her serial number 55175. It was one of her attending nurses who had taken to calling her Juliet.
She spent over a month in the hospital recovering from the severe malnourishment and dehydration she suffered when she was left behind at the mill.
