Summary: Angelo was confused by Blade's lack of response, and even more surprised when, over text, she claimed to be busy. Knowing she effectively never had anything to do, Angelo headed to her dorm to knock some heads. Blade wouldn't let him in, only cracking the door open, and he jammed his foot in the door, speaking to her through the crack and expressing his concerns. Broen's death was still vivid for him, and hearing Blade literally shut him out was pushing him over the edge. He pleaded for her to talk with him, and she relented, letting him in. Asking questions, he realized her eye was gone, forcing himself to sit down as they tried to talk it out.
He (somewhat mistakenly) came to believe she'd been injured while playing hero, and she offered to go out heroing with him. Angelo pointed out it could never work like it did in Halcyon, and Blade informed him they didn't need to involve the police. Angelo slowly came to the realization of what she was talking about, and realized she had no doubt been killing people. He became distressed, repeatedly bringing up his father, Broen (although not by name), and the people he surrounded himself with, pointing out that any or all of them could have been Blade's victims. She brought up his father's victims, saying she'd trusted his morals, and asked him to come with her.
Angelo broke down, and took several minutes to pull himself together. Blade repeatedly brought up that he was not a 'victim', and Angelo couldn't bring himself to ask, knowing what that meant. He pleaded with her, begging her to work with him, and finally made her choose: Give up killing, or give up him. He couldn't support her while she did it, and while it at first looked like she was going to choose killing, she eventually relented. Angelo insisted they get Travis involved, and texted his dad he was staying the night.
