Jude's ICC Logs

The Winter Mystery finale started at 11AM.

Beatrice (Keen), Liliana (Zora), Lucas (Ballerina), Riley (Kait), Lynn (Bloos), Tomomi (EmiRose), Azu (Boop), Frysta (Max!!), Galen / Nether (Wuffy), Cecete (Sashi), Shale (Goblin)

Angelo beelined for the spire the moment it appeared. He watched in horror as Lucas, Tomomi, Shale, and Liliana charged in. Calling the cops, he headed towards the barrier with Beatrice holding one end of an ice scraper. She was pulled through with him.

Jude did his best to coordinate the group, but was briefly deafened by Shale's roar. Riley was shot with an arrow through the gut, and Jude became increasingly frustrated with people's inability to follow orders. He took charge when Riley recovered, ordering Shale to cover them as they started to run underneath him.

They discovered an elf that Jude identified as... nothing at all. He ignored Azu's existence entirely, trying to coordinate people. He came up with the theory that the elves and wolf were an anti-virus, and that while the other engaged with the wolf, they might be able to handle things. Jude, Azu, and Beatrice flew upwards, attempting to make contact with the three beings inside the crystal. He attempted to pierce the crystal before Riley got to it first, and those trapped inside began to fall.

Jude and Beatrice managed to collect an old man, later identified as December, and when they reached Shale and the others, Jude used his memory powers to calm the panicking boy whose pocket dimension they were in.

When they made it back to reality, Jude was deafened, and he headed off to the hospital after contacting people.

Angelo was still partially deaf and recovering.

Angelo did his best to keep up with conversations, chatting with Chloe and doing introductions with Aisha. He explained the general idea of what had happened to Izziel, Amber, and Chloe, missing about a quarter of the conversation.

He sat in on conversations about Aisha's culture (survival of the fittest), and witnessed Daenmor call the Rukt'ins fuckers. Izziel said something, which pissed Daen off, and Jude... couldn't figure out what.

Jude explained a bit about what had happened in the ice spike, and ended up helping Aisha and Daenmor hook up... for better or worse.

Jazz asked Jude about the possibility of starting a cosplay club, and Jude encouraged her to give it a try. They talked a bit about council, and then about what had happened at the ice pillar--specifically his difficulties dealing with civilians. They got to talking about apologies, and Jazz's tendency to over-apologize.

Jude caught up with Alma and Ganymede, chatting a bit about the twelve, the party, and things like that.

Jude ended up involved in an epic nerf battle with Aubrey and Dalia, showing off his phasing and bounces. He hammed it up, falling dramatically into Alma's arms. He ended up lying on the floor, resting his head in her lap as he chatted, doing introductions with Marigold.

There was a weird interaction where Jii was fairly pushy (and obviously upset) about people not eating their cake, but the fact that almost everyone there couldn't physically eat it made Jude abstain, putting his foot down to keep Sprinkles from eating some.

When Riley showed up, Jude was awkward for a bit, thinking about things before finally telling Riley she'd done well. They talked a bit about him being a superhero, and the general danger involved.

Arrived 8:30 PM

Tril (Pixel), Patty (Pallas), Aisha (Sashi), Emmett (Kada), Marigold (Porky), Vasha (Bloos), Jii (Goblin), Frysta (Max), Gelk (Arcadia), Irso (Lich), Dalia (Kada), Jackal (Me), Chloe (Kait)

Angelo did introductions with Marigold, and then did another shake with Emmett. He talked about Jii's speed, and then brought up the party, upsetting Tril. They talked about it a fair bit, including Emmett trying to explain cellphones to Tril and Patty, before Gelk arrived and interrupted things. Angelo did his best to smooth things over, with Gelk throwing Tril off, but it was a bit of a lost cause from the start.

He did his best to interpret the situation when Irso showed up, who Gelk seemed to recognize. Things went weird when Dalia showed up, and Gelk asked for her bidding. Irso got referred to as 'Vatar's nobody', and Angelo got a pretty good idea of more or less what was going on. He became convinced Gelk was basically a loose, non-sapient golem, and largely disregarded him.

Or at least tried. Gelk insisted Dalia contact Malara, who brought Jackal in, and the two went in circles, with Jackal trying to get Gelk to leave Malara (and Dalia) alone, and drawing Gelk's attention to himself.

Angelo ended up asking Vasha what he was petting, unclear if he was messing with him or not.

Chloe showed up, with Jackal explaining the situation to her. Dalia ended up solving the problem temporarily, with Jackal heading out to get his reward.

Frysta (Max), Lucas (Ballerina), Azalea (Goblin), Sprinkles (Keen), Alma (Kada), Iggy (Max), Lynn (Bloos), Shale (Goblin), Titus (Max)

Angelo did introductions all around, largely giving up on Azalea who wasn't really capable of communicating outside of writing. He chatted about school options with Alma and Iggy, and then about jobs with sprinkles.

He ended up helping Sprinkles take Azalea to the school to get registered, and then talked with Iggy and Alma about his decision to run for student council again. They discussed various campaign issues, including Jude's disaster preparedness. Jude ended up talking with Shale about things a bit, and then had to quickly duck out to talk to Big Angelo.

Angelo arrived straight from work, chatting with the group about how he felt he owed the 12. December and January arrived, and Angelo did introductions, chatting with the group along with everyone else. He recognized the pool, letting out a quiet oh no. He went out of his way to avoid looking in it. Smokey wasn't having that, pushing Jude to go investigate.

To his intense relief, he saw Alma, returning to Smokey to chat about it. Azalea showed up, with Angelo doing his best to accommodate them. Dalia had a meltdown based on who she saw, bringing the party to a screeching halt. Angelo mostly stayed on the sidelines, being unfamiliar with Aisha and not knowing Dalia enough to understand what she'd seen, but did end up approaching Tomomi after the fact to check on them. They had a bit of a heart to heart.

December distributed a gift to those who had helped retrieve him, with Jude accepting his and storing it carefully.

Not long after, January gave her gift: A pair of matching bracelets, which ended in Jude having to ask January for a second set. She ended up dumping them all over the ground, and Jude collected a second set. He listened to the explanation of boons.

Angelo ran into Riley in his newly human self, and then did introductions with Zyta. She left almost immediately after, leaving Angelo a bit... confused. He opted to take the time to warn Azalea about popping into his dad's shadow.

The group chatted about the party, and about clubs. Angelo struggled a bit with being around Azalea, and ended up ducking out a bit early.

Penelope (Kada), Jii (Goblin), Sprinkles (Keen), Aisha (Sashi), Riley (Bloos)

Angelo arrived, being 'recognized' by Penelope when his name was mentioned. He explained his whole duplicate thing to Aisha, and learned Taliesen had been let go. He learned about Aisha's history of evolving, and the group discussed powers.

Angelo brought up student council, and ended up lending a shoulder to cry on when Aisha talked about being upset over the pool.

Faded out around 1PM due to technical issues.

Angelo brought jerky he made in class, offering it to whoever wanted it. He chatted with Sprinkles and Baeye about summer, school, and their favorite subjects, and then headed to class around the time Sprinkles did.

Angelo arrived, changing into a swimsuit and doing introductions with Morgan. He assumed Morgan was new when he hesitated before a handshake, before finding out he'd lived there their whole life.

Thiul made an offhand comment about Eein 'maybe' being her family since he was adopted, which definitely put Jude off them.

Liun's injury was mentioned, and Angelo tried to ask about it, getting no response. He ended up asking Whisp and Eein about it, basically being told that it was private and he opted to drop it.

Angelo went out swimming alone, as most people opted to stay on the beach. He did end up swimming around a bit with Sprinkles, and then helping Ankh learn to swim properly.

Angelo talked with Sprinkles and Helena about difficulty training powers. The previous day (including the Rukt'ins) were discussed, but Angelo kept quiet to avoid trash talking them.

Sprinkles asked if Destra and Shale were related at all, and Angelo ended up asking if there were any bones in the skeleton. They talked about the difficulty asking questions, and Angelo talked a bit about Halcyon's destruction, mentioning he wanted to one day set up a little Halcyon.

They talked a bit about Regalia, and then about Helena's thumb, realizing it was a sensitive subject and backing off.

They talked more about other worlds, and about dressing up (or down) for the beach. He ended up inviting people to go swimming, and ended up going with Sprinkles and Evie for a splash war.

February basically pop culture quizzed the group, with Jude... not really getting it because he was too vague. He did comment that he thought Gal Gadot was hot, which got February to swap forms, which Jude declared 'weird'.

He got a draconic dictionary from Alex, and then watched February announce boons. When Alma and Iggy showed up, Jude swept Cooper off his feet.

Alma quasi-accidentally outed Morgan as a vampire, who retreated for a while. Jude learned Aria was mostly interested in girl, which was unfortunate but not entirely surprising.

When Morgan returned, Angelo became distressed, concerned that Morgan literally didn't know how to feed himself and was going to get hurt. Alma scooted off to help, which lead to Angelo inviting her over if she wanted.

Angelo left around 10:25 PM
