Since I have a lot of poetry, and I feel like sharing it sometimes, s I've decided to post whatever new poems I have and post them here instead of making a new thread after new thread for each individual poem.

Here's one, a poem I wrote pretty quickly, like my others, in seconds...It sort of has to do with a girl I know, but basically, towards love in general.

The Drifter
Love is fleeting, thankfully so.
For love is simply lust dressed up more.
Disguised in “kindness” and “loyalty”.
Foolishness these clothes, meaningless words.
I adored you once, but that will depart.
Replaced by another female enigma in my heart.
Whose secrets once I discover, will seem droll and stupid,
Just another idiocy uncovered
Just another piece in a never-ending farce
Even Juliet would turn into a sow
So consume thy potion, do end it now.
For if one continues this foolish game,
Life’s low limits will have “love” to blame.

I really enjoyed reading it also. It's a little depressing, but who cares that much, it was fun to read.

**For love is simply lust dressed up more.** <—- I like that line.
Disguised in “kindness” and “loyalty”.
Foolishness these clothes, meaningless words.
I adored you once, but that will depart.
**Replaced by another female enigma in my heart.** <—- Haha... that made me laugh for some weird reason.
Whose secrets once I discover, will seem droll and stupid,
**Just another idiocy uncovered
Just another piece in a never-ending farce
Even Juliet would turn into a sow** <—- I like this.
So consume thy potion, do end it now.

Voila.

Thanks for the comments everyone...
Here's another one of my older poems...Actually one of the first I ever wrote...In a few seconds like my others...

A Young Man's Will
Oh when I depart from this cruel place
Into the loving misery of death’s cold embrace
Do not close my pale eyes, do not kiss my face.
Do not mourn my passing, the life that death devoured.
Not a single black garment, not one damned flower!
Not because I am “in a better place”.
That is but a farce, life is but a waste.
A series of unending pain,
Interrupted by meaningless gain.
I am not bitter, I am not to blame.
Despise life’s design, and the fragile human mind,
Binded so easily by the death throes of time.
Blinded so simply by death, you will find.
So do not bemoan me when I am felled.
For I’ll be waiting for you all, at the gates of Hell!

I liked it, but I like your other ones better ;)

v.v I like reading poetry, I just can't dang write it. Oh well, I make up for it in other things.

Thanks for the input all...I felt like putting up another one...
I did this, of course, in a few seconds, for a poetry challenge recently.

Discover
The yearning emptiness in my soul
Compels me to the fickle and foul
Simply because of my vile ways
I cannot help but hold your gaze.
You are sick, but so am I
Or perhaps I am not, I simply can’t deny
That although you are an angel,
You’re not worth my mind.
Never before, never before
Have I felt such for a simple whore.
I can already feel her lip’s caress
As my eyes endure Satan’s test.
Her fair skin and Theseus behind.
And of course, of course, her beautiful mind!
So bare of intellect and amazingly blind!
But that is no barrier to us.
Because as you soon shall discover,
Beauty and brilliance are not synonymous
Nor is love and your lover.

(P.S. If you get the mythological reference in here, you rock. ;))
