She listened to him explain. She felt for bad for the child. How could his own father hurt him. When Daniel said he didn't want to go back there, her eyes softened more. She wouldn't want to send him back either just by hearing how he spoke, and how small and terrified he seemed. She starred with wide eyes as he showed her the bruises, cuts and scars.

"Dear god..." She whispered under her breath. She didn't know what to do now. She didn't want to send the boy home, she didn't even know where he lived if she wanted too, but she knew that if she told others then they may contact social services and she wouldn't want that, she felt so bad for the boy.

"I won't let you to go. That place where your father is... is to cruel for a young boy to stay, and live, if that's called living." Her voice sounded a bit uncertain. She didn't know what she was doing really, she just knew she didn't want the boy to get hurt anymore by such a monster.

Daniel looked up as she said her oh dear. He then noticed that a piece of his shirt had moved up and he quickly moved it back down and blushed slightly. She had seen the things his father had done? Yeah of course she had done that from the look on her face, and he had been so careful to never show it to anyone. He tried to say something to explain what she ha just seen but he did not know what to say at all. It was like the words got stuck in the middle. He looked down onto the floor again and tried to find something to say to her.

The boy looked at her again when she began to talk again, he examined her with curious eyes. She was not going to let him go back? He blinked a few times as he tried to understand what she had just said. Then he forced himself to smile a little at her, it was a weak smile but still a smile anyway. He walked a few steeps closer to her and then he stopped again and it looked like he thought about something, "....could...." he began slowly..."C-c-could I.....hug you?" he said this with a very low voice, he knew it was weird but he was serious about the question, he wanted to hug someone. It made him feel safe and he wanted to see if he could feel safe with this woman or not. He was sure she would say now....what person would hug someone just like that?

She watched the emotions that ran across his face, wondering why he seemed ashamed, or why he looked away. She didn't quite understand the actions of others, and somehow had a doubt that she ever would, maybe she should just give up on trying to understand others. She decided not to say anything, letting the silence settle in. It wasn't a awkward silence, at least she didn't think so much. When Daniel walked towards her and spoke, she just looked at him for a few moments, then let a smile on her face again.

She opened her arms up. "If you want, if it'll make you feel better." She said. She wondered why she felt like she needed to take care of the boy, why she felt protective over him now. She knew only that she couldn't let him go live with his father, but what was she to do? She bit her lip, trying to figure out what to do.

Daniel waited for her reply, what was she going to say? Was she going to say no or yes to his question? Daniel hoped she would say yes but he had feeling she was going to say no! It was then that she smiled a little and then she opened her arms and the reply was not a no at all. Daniel looked at her for a moment, he did not say anything or even move. Then he smiled a little, a small weak smile.

The boy then walked over to her and wrapped his small arms around her in a close hug, he buried his head in her hair and closed his eyes, he had not huged anyone for so long and the boy loved to hug and get hugged back. He did not move, he did not want to move. To feel someone close like this was not common for him and it really made him feel better. "Thank you" he said with a low voice, it was a very low voice but since he was so close she would not have much problem to hear what the little boy said. If she hugged him back then Selia could feel some of the wounds thought the thin shirt, if she did hug him a little to hard the boy would shiver slightly and let out a sound in pain and he would grip the back of her clothes slightly and close the eyes harder. Some of the wounds still hurt and a few was even infected and really needed to be cleaned before things got worse.

Selia smiled when Daniel walked closer to her and put his little arms around her. Hesitantly, she put hers around him, trying to be gentle, knowing all the wounds he had. She let him take comfort in the hug, and it made her feel calmer, and closer to the boy, and she knew then that she wanted to take care of him, needed too. She couldn't leave him alone, but she reminded herself that she had nowhere to take care of him, all she had was a small dorm room, and the school probably wouldn't let him stay, well, she didn't know that, but she wanted a better place for the boy, maybe she could find a good apartment, a house even. She bit her lip, closing her eyes.

She then accidentally hugged the boy tighter, but then heard the little sound of pain, felt the shiver that ran through him, and as his little hands clenched her back, she felt the wounds briefly, but quickly leaned from the boy, her hands resting on his shoulders.

"Sorry." She mumbled, looking down a moment, then remembered that the wounds had seemed really bad. She looked the boys face over a moment, frowning slightly. "Your still hurt. The wounds had seemed pretty bad. They need cleaned and bandaged, I think..." She bit her lip again, before smiling and stood up, holding out her hand for Daniel to take. "Come, lets get you fixed up." She had some stuff in her dorm room, that should be enough to help the wounds from getting infected, or worse.

Daniel looked at her when she said she was sorry, then he also heard the other things she said of course. "It´s okey, I am used to worse things then that,.....you don´t have to say your sorry" he told her lowly and then he listened to the girl as she talked about cleaning his wounds and all that, he did not really like the sound of having someone do things with his wounds, but she was right that a few of them was pretty bad and did hurt, why he often had to sleep on the side or the stomach. To tell the truth to himself it was sometimes even hard then.

The boy looked at her hand for a moment and then he smiled a little and reached out and accepted it, she said she was going to help him. Daniel was going to trust her since she did hug him and it had been really nice to feel someone close again. Daniel had often been beaten but he still liked to be close to other people, with hugs and sugh. "O-o-okey, let´s.....do that" he said and nodded, he did really want the pain to go away so that he could for once sleep one night witout waking up when he happened to turn in a bad way. .
