She listened to him explain. She felt for bad for the child. How could his own father hurt him. When Daniel said he didn't want to go back there, her eyes softened more. She wouldn't want to send him back either just by hearing how he spoke, and how small and terrified he seemed. She starred with wide eyes as he showed her the bruises, cuts and scars.

She didn't want to send the boy home, she didn't even know where he lived if she wanted too, but she knew that if she told others then they may contact social services and she wouldn't want that, she felt so bad for the boy.
