Her skin is as if made of perfect alabaster free of all blemishes, her form is best described as straight (or banana shaped) with modest sized breast tacked on. lithe but what flesh is exposed reveals her body’s supple fitness. While her appearance is mostly humanoid, on her back she frequently spouts her pair of white wings for everyone to witness.
For clothing, she prefers wear her old formal wear uniform outfits that she used to wear back at her military home. It consists of nothing more than khaki jacket worn over a white long sleeve shirt with a black skirt covering her waist and upper legs. Her shirt and jacket have a zipper in the back for her to spread her wings with little discomfort.

Disdainful – Though she would never publicly admit, Johanna holds contempt for a majority of mortals as feels many of lack devotion. Though part of her wonders why she serves as protector for those whom are without faith, she nevertheless carries out what she sees as her god given duty.
Pious – Since the death of her parents, she has become even more resolute in her creed of convictions. She prays daily and follows her tenets to the best she is able. Though she doesn’t impose her spiritual beliefs on others… she often suggests to those around her to take on a more pious lifestyle, especially those who are irreligious or atheist.

Disease/Toxin Resistance – Though is unable to die from conventional diseases and poisons, she will still very much feel their effects.
Enhanced Strength: A powerful angel, Johanna can lift and carry objects weighing in at 2 tons.
Dark Magic Weakness - As being of light and purity, dark magics can cause her great harm and cut her strength in half if struck.

When using her ability, she can see a spiritual visage of the person’s true form superimposed on the form presented to Johanna. From reading their aura, Johanna can make out a person’s powers and species abilities at their current state. For her ability to activate however, she must stare at person for at least 5 minutes with unbroken line of sight, during which time her eyes will give off a gentle yellowish glow. After 5 minutes, Johanna will be given insight to what the person is and their abilities.
Her power only works on one person at a time after using it, she will have to wait 10 minutes to use her ability again as she will suffer from an annoying migraine during her 10-minute cooldown. Her ability also tells her nothing about a person’s character such as their history, morality, either they be good or evil and etcetera. Her clairvoyance only tells her a persons true appearance, their species and their powers; nothing else. Interestingly, her power does not work on those whom are entirely mechanical in nature.

Johanna was born from the union of two archangels, both of whom were charged with the protection of mankind from the treachery of demons trying to exert their vile negative influence on the mortal realm. From the day she was born, much was expected of the young angel. Like her parents, she was expected both a warrior of heaven and a diplomat of the faith… an expectation that put a lot of pressure on her. But she was not alone in her grueling training and rigorous studies for she had her younger brother Hadrian with her every step of the way. But as the years go by, it became evident that Johanna was the favored child of two siblings.
As people praised her for her many accomplishments, her brother always overlooked as he lived behind the her sister’s shadow. No matter how hard he train or how much effort her put in his studies… how could he ever hope to compete with the blinding radiance that is her sister? Even their own parents made no attempt to hide their disappointment in their son. Pretty much everyone saw Hadrian as a nobody, at least everyone save his sister Johanna. Having grown up together for their entire lives, she understood her brother better than anyone.
Behind her success, her brother was always her moral support. Behind all the times she thought she would crack under the pressure to excel, her brother was always there to keep her from breaking. Behind her confidence, was that thought of her brother’s smile pushing her on. Behind everything she has ever done, it was always her brother ever so selfless giving her the emotional foundation she need to strive to be her best. Sure, she had friends, family, and instructors whom all cared for her but when they all looked to her adoration, she looks back to her brother for it was he that she relied on most. While everything was looking up to Johanna, it all suddenly came crashing down the day the demons attacked.
Small skirmishes around the outpost have occurred on occasion but the demonic horde assembled in this surprise attack was nothing that angels have seen nor expected. Every angel station at the outpost fought valiantly to defeat the invaders but one by one they succumb to the demon’s superior numbers. Years of training and combat experience did little as she watched her friends perish around, then her instructors, followed by her own parents whom died to shield their children. Then… it was only her and brother left to stand up against the demonic host. Johanna planned to fight the demons and their fiends to the bitter end but it was her brother whom convinced her that instead of dying unmagnanimous they should instead escape so that they can fight another day. The sibling pair then fought with every last once of their energy to fight their way and fell to earth as the outpost that was their home crumbled all around in the oceans below.
Struggling to survive on some flotsam, the two eventually washed up on the shores of Mantra Carlos. While at first concerned with blending in the mortals, once they realized the nature of the island the two debated among themselves what their next plan of action. Eventually, they came to the agreement to settle on the island and attend the local academy. Though bitter and angry over destruction of her home by demons, instead of losing hope Johanna became even more resolute in what she sees are her divine duty to protect the innocent from evil influence of the demons that infest the island.
