Jaqueline frowned lightly as she took in this new information. So Malek had been through trauma, and right afterward had all this massive responsibility thrusted on him. It was certainly never a dull moment at Starlight Academy: what human therapist could claim to be faced with a patient stressed on nearly the same level as Malek?

Malek was silent for a moment. He really needed to think about what she had asked. "It is a little bit of both. I promised my father that I would recreate it, and in my clan we take promises as an oath that could be punishable by death. I want to restart it, but then again I feel like I can't do it. It's like I'm going to fail and it's going to happen all over again."
