Jacob Corvias

6' tall, blue eyes that glow red when angry, very athletic agile build, black medium length hair worn loosely. Normally wears a white shirt, with jeans, matching shoes shoes, with a dark coat. Fiery blue horns, pointed ears, wings, tail, fangs, and claws can vanish and appear when he wants.

-Jacob is a friendly individual, he'll always greet and say goodbye with a smile unless you give him reason not to.

-He has a mischievousness about him, he enjoys parties and even pranks.

-He's curious, always willing to learn and overall has a sharp mind, and because of his time on his own he's surprisingly good with money.

-While he's not a pack rat, he dislikes throwing things away, and prefers to use things repeatedly if he can.

-Though his friendly nature would fool you otherwise, Jacob has trust issues, brought on by his father's abandonment and the way the orphanage reacted to his powers appearing, but once you've earned that trust he'll always be there for you. That said, if you break that trust you'll likely never get it back.

-While he hides it decently well, the truth is, he's very lonely, having never had family of any sort has left him feeling hollow at times. He wants companionship, friendships, mentors, romance, relationships that could become a surrogate family.

-Though he likes his powers, his demonic nature and who and what his father is secretly terrifies him, he's afraid the awful selfishness of his father might be natural for his kind of demon, and that he's doomed to be like his father.

-While it might seem surprising, but Jacob is Catholic, or rather he's a lapsed Catholic, needless to say the actions of the nuns and priests at his old orphanage have left a lot of doubt in his mind. He still occasionally prays but often wonders if the prayers of a half demon are even heard.

-Teleportation: can teleport 20 feet at a time.
Limits: has to be able to see where he's going, unless he knows the area very well. Cannot teleport through walls.

-Matter Exchange: He has the ability to take an object and instantly replace it with one of equal or below matter value, with the old object vanishing.For example, he can take a broken phone and as long as it has all it's parts, instantly replace it with a new one.
Limit: object can't be bigger than 3 foot by 3 foot. Object has to be structurally similar. Like a boot can only be replaced with a boot, cell phone with a similar cell phone. Objects have to be around the same weight. The replacement has to be the same kind of item so a boot will always be a boot, and said can choose a new color.
For Example: while on the streets he used it as a magic trick. Someone would give him a boot and request a new one, he'd drop it in a box and pull out a new boot. May not be the exact same kind of boot, but it will be very similar, be the same size and be new.
Limits: can only do this 5 times a day, cannot do it to living beings.

-Enhanced Physicality: he's very fast an agile, can jump 20 feet, and has a top speed of 40 miles an hour.
-He can make his demonic features vanish and appear when he wants.
-Tail: his tail is very flexible and acts as another limb. It can lift his own weight. And it's tip can become sharp and knife like.
-Defensive Flame: his horns and the tip of his tail always have a blue flame. This fire is normally warm and pleasant to touch, but if you have hostile intentions it will burn you.
-Eternal Life: he'll stop aging in his 20s and live forever if not killed
-Flight: wings great flight, can fly 50 miles an hour

Weakness: being half demon he's vulnerable to Christian religious objects. The precense of Christian religious items within 20 feet turns his powers off, and renders him human. Holy water has the same affect when poured on him until it's dried off.

-Mephistopheles was a demon, a deal broker who would go to mortals on behalf of hell lords, offering deals in exchange for souls, and then gathering said souls when the time came.
-When not doing this, he would masquerade as a human gentleman. Charming women, and tricking wealthy humans out of their money.
-He used many human aliases, with hundreds of identities for him to choose from.
-Then while in England he met a woman named Isabelle Corvias. A beautiful poor woman seeking wealth.
-Mephisto offered her a deal, be his lover and he'd grant her the things she wanted. She agreed.
-So for a while their agreement proved mutually beneficial, Mephisto got her lover, Isabelle her wealth.
-Then something happened, Isabelle became pregnant.
-Mephisto saw the future child as a hindrance to their arrangement and requested that she give the child up for adoption when born.
-But as time went, something in Isabelle changed, and for the first time she grew to care for something other than herself and her hunger for wealth. She loved her unborn child and decided to keep him.
-Seeing this as a void of contract Mephisto cut Isabelle off from his fortune and abandoned her and the unborn child.
-So, returned to her life of poverty, she did the best she could. Did what work she could to raise as much money as she could.
-Eventually she gave birth to a son and named him Jacob.
-A year later, someone attacked and murdered Isabelle, the killer was never caught
-Jacob was taken in by an orphanage, raised there, with a locket which contained a picture of his mother as his most treasured possession. He was always told his mother died of natural causes.
-Then at age 13 his powers emerged while he was outside, needless to say they scared the orphans, and the adults who ran the orphanage, particularly the local nun.
-A young priest in particular reacted very badly and tried to kill him, injuring Jacob.
-Frightened Jacob ran away.
-Living on the streets, he used his powers to avoid capture by the police.
-He became a thief, vigilante and street magician via his teleportation and matter exchange powers, he moved from place to place.
-His exploits eventually made him an urban legend of sorts, the "New Robin Hood."
-Eventually at age 17 he ended up in London, where he tried to pick pocket a wealthy looking man. That man turned out to be Mephisto.
-Mephisto told Jacob who he was and explained to him his demonic nature.
-Besides that Mephisto took little interest in his son, and had no intention of raising him.
-Jacob angry at Mephisto, told him he didn't need his help, that he'd find his own way.
-So Mephisto left him to it, but a small spark of fatherly care motivated the demon to anonymously inform Manta Carlos of the boy's location
-So a scout found Jacob and after some convincing brought him to the island.

-Has a locket with a picture of his mother
