Jackson Foster
Pronunciation: Jack-son / Jacks
Nicknames: Jax Category: Student Age: 13 Birthday: March 15th Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual (?) Occupation: Unemployed Class: Middle School Grade: 7th Race: Wereshifter Race Sub-class: Werewolf Appearance
Height: 5'1"
Build: Athletic Bust Reference Jackson is the kind of kid who has hit puberty earlier, his voice already on the deeper end. His nose is on the wider side and just a hint arched. Arched eyebrows and almond eyes with predatory pupils give him that wild child look. Jax is typically scowling, and his face is set to look grumpier than most people. The amber of his eyes stands out against dark skin and darker hair, nearly glowing. His dark brown hair comes off black in most lights, and he keeps it short but not styled. He wears a large jacket with a furred collar, large pockets, that's too big for his frame. It smells of the forest and beasts. He almost never takes it off. Wolf Reference![]() Jax's wolf form stands six foot at the shoulder. Jax's werewolf form is too muscular to be mistaken for a normal wolf. His paws are large and the claws there are massive, his teeth are too long and too sharp. His snout is broader than the average wolf, and his head is larger and more triangular. There is something agile in the way he walks. He stalks like a big cat most of the time. His eyes hold a human intelligence that paired with his predatory attributes can be unnerving. His coloring is tans and browns. The most distinctive pattern on his body rests on his thick scruff, where patterns of sable and chocolate brown decorate his back. His stomach and chest is a slightly darker color than the rest of him. Size comparison to a six foot man![]() |

Personality
Jax grew up in the wilds with only his family. He doesn't know how to deal with people in a socially acceptable manner, and personally, he doesn't care to know. He enjoys bluntness and bravado and hates when people play coy. He's not particularly shy about nudity and doesn't get why people have a fascination with clothing or fashion.
Jackson is advanced at reading body language, as its the way he'd rather communicate in his wolf form. He is not good with words and tends to show his appreciation of a person through physical means such as nuzzling or touching.
Jackson loves physical activity whether that be sports or just general exercise. He can't get enough of running around and quickly becomes irritated when he has to sit still for any extended period (this includes at school, unfortunately).
He is practical by nature and struggles with the theoretical, living in the moment rather than the past or future.
Abilities
Actives
Infective Mauling: Jackson could change a human into a werewolf if he were to maul them near to death. The change is difficult to survive through with only a one out of five survival rate. Jax's control isn't good enough that he wouldn't harm someone beyond repair.Shifting: Can shift between wolf and human at will.
While shifting forms, Jackson can take anywhere from three minutes to five. While shifting, he is left extremely vulnerable with even the wind hurting him. He can't run or attack, too focused on the shift. When he is wounded, the process is even slower.
Passives
Beast Physiology: He can easily lift a classical piano without breaking a sweat, keep up with professional athletes without being out of breath, and take a crowbar to the head without being put down. This goes doubly true while he is in his wolf form, particularly where durability is concerned. He is surprisingly agile for a creature so large and strong.
He has good enough night eye to see perfectly in pitch black.
Environmental Adaption: Jackson can accumulate to any natural environment. He is most comfortable in the forest or the tundra as his body handles the cold better than it does the heat.
Regenerative Ability: Jackson can heal from cuts in a matter of seconds and broken bones in about five, if he's focusing, fifteen if not. Jackson could survive getting his throat torn out so long as he remained still and let himself heal.
This regeneration is so good he can't catch normal sicknesses and alcohol, drugs, and most natural poisons don't have an effect on him.
Jackson might have to reopen himself or rebreak bones to ensure they heal properly and that his wounds are clean.
Super Senses: In his human form, Jackson's eyes are no better than most humans with twenty/twenty vision, but in his wolf form, he can see ultra-violet.
Jackson's nose is strong enough to smell changes in the human body, including pregnancy and an increase in sweat, which help him detect lying.
His hearing is good enough to hear a person's heart beating when he's standing a few arm's lengths away from them. He can hone in on particular sounds if he chooses to drown everything else out.
Weaknesses
Aconitum: Commonly know as wolfsbane or monkshood, this plant is like poison for Jackson. It stops him from shifting and puts him in excruciating pain.Feral Instincts: Jackson struggles to control himself with his more feral urges. He is prone to violent anger, unwanted shifting, and an animalistic nature. When smelling blood, or viewing someone who is wounded, Jackson is likely to go into a feral state of mind and hunt those around him.
Swimming: While Jackson can swim, it is challenging for him due to his body mass. He can tread water, but can't stay swimming for long without drowning before he sinks like a rock.
The Moon: Jackson is bound by the cycle of the moon. On a full moon, he is forced to transform, and this is his most feral time.
The Wolf: The Wolf is a spiritual animal comprised of instincts, energy, and emotions. Its personality is more or less like Jackson's. It does not feel the emotions of a human or contain the thought process of a person.
The Wolf and Jackson are closely connected and intertwined, not knowing more than the other on any given subject. The relationship between Jackson and his wolf side is complicated and nonvocal, comprised of a mutual and personal understanding.
While not technically a separate entity, The Wolf can seem like it is. There are times when The Wolf takes Jackson over, usually when he is wounded or in danger. During these situations, Jackson is dangerous; he doesn't talk in complete sentences or act human.
History
○ Jackson was born in the forest to a lone wolf father and a mother who came from a pack that functioned as a cult.○ One day, his little family was found out. His father stayed back to let him and his mother run, but they weren't fast enough.
○ Saved by a scout who also happened to be a wolf, Jackson and his severely injured mother were taken to Manta Carlos. Unfortunately, his mother died on the trip there.
○ Later taken into the foster system and housed with Storm Haywood.
