Jackal arrived, a man on a mission in search of someone who could detect magic. There was some heavy confusion about what he was asking, and he dodged the question about who it was about. He ended up texting back and forth with Orsick, and then put up a notice seeking a cursebreaker.

Jackal caught up with Chloe, talking about tattoo magic with her. When Dalia showed up, he offered some support, pointing out he was going to fake it till they made it either way.

Summary: Jackal shot the shit with people, chatting about sex swap charms and shapeshifting. He witnessed some awkwardness between Maddie and Kon, and headed out.

Summary: Jackal, being the shady motherfucker that he is, went to hunt down Lynn after he came up empty looking for Anastasia. He was an absolutely shit tier detective, but did note that Lynn was apparently unaware of who Dalia was, and that he didn't remember Jackal at all. Jackal was extremely suspicious, and also completely wrong. He got the distinct impression that Jone was hiding something, but when Jone willingly drank coffee (which would have outed the spiders), Jackal ended up giving him a (tentative) clear. They offered to help, and Jackal gave them a business card.

Summary: Following up from his messages to Kon, Destra showed up outside Jackal's work to ask him about Lynn. He filled them in on what had happened before, encouraging Destra to confront Lynn, and then headed back to work.

Summary: Jackal showed up, finding out about Broen's return before doing introductions with Noah. He almost did introductions with Marissa, but decided she was too busy with Xavier to bother. Both Broen and Kon copied Jackal's tail, much to his distress, but quickly went away. They ended up talking about superheroes, jobs, and kids.

Summary: Jackal gets a distressed call from Amber alerting him to the situation with Ana. He tells her to call the police, and zips off to the scene.

Summary: Comes after All Eyes on Me. Jackal and Chloe spoke with Anastasia in Chloe's private hell. They learned about the deal she'd made, as well as her motivations, and Jackal offered his way out: To merge Dalia and Anastasia. Chloe and Jackal had a small fight while time was stopped, with Jackal pointing out that Anastasia felt that Chloe had sold them to Mammon. Chloe argued the point on him, ignoring what he was saying, and Jackal had to brush past it, only for Chloe to make a shitty joke at Anastasia's expense. That, combined with Chloe's willingness to allow Dalia to simply kill Anastasia set him deeply at odds with Chloe.

During the encounter, he was briefly drugged by Anastasia, but his adaptation moved past it.

Summary: After her merge, Jackal comes back to Malara's penthouse to check in on Dalia. They chatted about normal life, and about Dalia's memories and new life. He comforted her, and when she expressed concerns about being able to protect herself, Jackal gave her Karya's Spear. They had a good little bonding moment, and then Jackal headed off to go visit the boss.
