It was a sunny calm day in the city, summer in full swing. On such a good day, all the shops and venues on the streets were busy. Going to work, hanging with friends, going shopping, simply enjoying the day by filling it with activities to do.

Isstar Rukt’In was not one such person, and was instead walking along the streets with earphones in. Soothing classical music played in the usually troubled dragon’s ears, Isstar casually weaved through crowds with ease. His gait had acquired a sleek and fluent ease to it, once Isstar who had glared and growled at people now gave the occasional nod.

It would seem Isstar was simply wandering, and would continue doing so. He occasionally stood outside shops promising magical items or artefacts, before he shrugged and continued. Isstar was in his own world, and would need someone to get him to actually do something in his usually aimless day.

Eein didn't spend a lot of time in the city, it was a bit too noisy for him, he preferred the forest. However today he had a some shopping to do, clothes to buy, and few things to look into. He'd finished most of it when he noticed Isstar a bit further ahead. If they were elsewhere he might have just tackled them, but there were to many people here to do that.

So Eein would quickly make his way through the crowd, moving past the people. Finally he found himself close Isstar, he'd step up to where he was walking beside his cloned cousin. Eein would smirk and gently bump his elbow against his. "Sup? Enjoyed your trip?" wandering around Europe sounded nice, especially to someone who often felt restless.

"Whatcha doing out here?" he'd ask curiously. "You just poking around the city?" said city seemed to change a good amount, especially with the new residents popping up.

Isstar had just continued walking when he noticed a presence walked alongside him. At first he dismissed it, thought it was just some going in the same direction, until his elbow was nudged. He blinked a few times, finally looking at who bumped him, and saw it was Eein. Immediately he relaxed, his hands reaching to take the earphones out of his ears and pocketing them.

Back before he left to travel, Eein was one of the relatives Isstar spoke to a good amount. Around the same age, both dragons, went to school... It took him a moment for Isstar to properly process Eein's words, before a small smile appeared on Isstar's face as he shrugged. "Sure did. Got to be away from the madness that is family for a few months." He grinned at his cousin.

Since Eein walked at his pace, Isstar kept walking. "More or less. Just window shopping, but otherwise roaming. Liun thinks it's a good idea I do stuff like this." He casted Eein a sideways glance as they walked, seeing him carry some bags. "Just doing some shopping?" Isstar tilted his head slightly, an eyebrow raised with a similar way to Liun.

He'd snort. "Lucky, you got to get away when all the weirdness started," the island getting sucked into another dimension, the death of magic being discovered. "It was all an experience," he'd say with a chuckle. "Now the island is welcoming that mermaid kingdom in," it was weird how much things had changed.

"Yeah," he'd shrug, "decided to get a few clothes, plus a few other things." A few gifts for his girlfriend, plus a few things he needed. "Even I have to go shopping sometimes," he didn't like being in the city that much but it was necessary sometimes.

The dragon would nod. "Yeah, sorta wandering around looking at stuff is common for people our age, though I usually wander in the forest." He felt more at home there than the city. "You going to that party thing in mertown?" he'd ask.

He couldn't help but let out a light laugh. "Weirdness? When isn't this place being weird, Eein?" Isstar grinned at his cousin. Of course, that situation had been highly concerning when it happened. Isstar was off island, and not sure if he could come back home. Once it was established he could, he almost did come back, but was convinced to continue his travels. "It was an experience while off island. It was startling to just have every bit of communication cut off." He shook his head with a sigh. Isstar tilted his head at Eein, having only briefly heard about the mermaid kingdom. "Mermaid kingdom? I've heard bits and pieces, but it seems like it's fairly new. Hadn't heard much till I came to the island again." Isstar allowed his hands to slip into his pockets as he walked.

Isstar was simply window shopping, he had only gone into a couple of places. "Right, right. It's a bit too noisy and crowded for you, right?" He would have been in agreement in the past, and places like cities still could overwhelm Isstar, but his travelling had helped him learn how to cope with it. Even then, Isstar liked to be able to listen to music while he walked.

"In all fairness, I'm technically a toddler by human standards chronological age wise." He laughed. Isstar was a year and a half old, and he liked to joke about his age with those who knew about it. Couldn't do it as much off island. "I understand though. I guess I don't mind cities cause of my time in the narrow reality, but I did prefer hiking on trails." Isstar rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

At Eein's question, Isstar made a curious hum. "Party?" It was the first he'd heard of it, and how his head cocked to the side showed his confusion blatantly to Eein.

"Yeah, I'm thinking of traveling some once I turn Eighteen," he'd fish out a doughnut from one of his bags. "Head back to my old home, hit up the old hunting grounds," the doughnut would vanish into the dragon who'd quickly devour the tasty pastry. "I think it'd be nice to see Earth again."

"Mhm, it's like a sub town of the city now," he'd shrug. "Apparently we can visit now, see all the cool fish buildings, and all that," though the idea of being in an underwater city was a little unerving to him.

"Nah, you're still a baby by most standards," he'd say with a chuckle. "Our little baby cousin," the dragon would next pull out a piece of jerky and devour it.

"Yup, it's to welcome all the merpeople, plus giving people a chance to see the new town." He didn't go to parties often but this one sorta interested him. "Could be fun, might see if my girlfriend wants to go."

Isstar hummed in acknowledgement, his nose twitched at the smell of the doughnut. Maybe he should stop window shopping and buy a bit of food, Liun wouldn't mind if it was just a snack... "I guess since I'm physically and mentally, mostly, eighteen, it was fine for me." He briefly rubbed his chin before he shrugged. "I don't have much advice for countries in Asia, I didn't visit there, but I did a little bit of travelling in Europe. Just, America was the bulk of it for me." He had a cheerful expression as he talked, a feeling of content crossed his mind as he recalled his own trip off the island. "I think I'd like to travel more again at some point. Just, not right now."

As Eein explained mermaid town, Isstar simply nodded along until the mention of being able to visit it. Although Isstar did have a paranoia of large open spaces and preferred small ones, he wasn't so sure about something like being in the ocean. Perhaps because it would be a small space, but surrounded by a large crushing one? With a shudder, Isstar shook his head. "Don't think cool fish buildings are gonna be enough to convince me to visit." He nervously chuckled.

"Oi, I'm only chronologically young. I'm older than you in other standards!" The blue haired dragon protested, the hint of a sulk started in his eyes. Truly, Isstar displayed excellent maturity to his cousin. "...Only socially are people older than me..." He eventually grumbled.

Once more Isstar had to suppress the feeling of hunger once Eein pulled out some jerky. "Well, this was the first time I heard about it. But, probably not if it's in an underwater death trap." He snorted. Isstar stretched his arms, rolling his neck to a satisfying few cracks. "Lots of people like that aren't really my thing, either." Isstar sighed. It was a difference with him and Liun now. His original liked gatherings, Isstar had grown not to.

Eein would tilt his head, opening the bag and offering for Isstar to take a piece of jerky. "Wait, you afraid of the ocean," he'd ask, "mertown has been around a while, so I'm sure its safe." Somehow him being scared of the ocean was semi amusing, but he wasn't going to poke to much.

The dragon would snicker at his cousin. "And you show your maturity wonderfully," he'd say with a smirk. "I'll be eighteen before to long, maybe I'll do a bit of dimension hopping, or take a ship to a few other planets." He liked the idea of traveling, of exploring.

He'd nod. "Yeah, I'm not big on big gatherings, but seeing a new area sounds cool," he'd say with a thoughtful hum. "I'm usually in the woods when not at work or school," plus a few other activities.

"So, you got any plans now that you're back?" he'd ask curiously. "Gonna go back to school?"
