Aria wasn't really one to agonize over what she was going to wear out. As long as it was comfortable enough to dance in and looked cute it was good. She'd decided to go with a black crop top blouse that buttoned up the front. A bit more frilly than most of the things she wore but it left her neck and the tops of her shoulders bare and showed off a little of her toned belly. She'd considered wearing a skirt but at the last minute chose a pair of skinny black pants that would hug her hips nicely. Fortunately she never needed pockets- having a pocket dimension was very handy for nights like these.

She tucked her brilliant red hair, almost shining a little, behind her neck and let it fall loosely there. She liked the feel of having her hair free while on the dance floor. Her two little black horns gleaming in the reflection of the glowing halo above her head. With a content sigh and smile Aria stepped away from the mirror to create a portal. First to her pocket dimension and then from there to a spot near the dorms at the Academy. Safety first.

They'd agreed it made sense for Aria to "pick up" Mags there and go from there to Escapade, the club. So as the glittering ring of bright green magic formed in the air Aria stepped out and looked around for the other girl. Excited to see how the night was going to go.

It's not like Magdalene was new to going to clubs, she had done that a few times when Abab had talked her into sneaking out. But actually dressing up was something new to her, and dancing instead of swaying or hanging around somewhere on the edge of the room. Before Mags hadn't wanted to draw attention to herself. But now was different. And she was going to be with a really pretty girl, no less. That added some extra pressure.
Magdalene hadn't lied when she had said dancing was fun, it was. Magdalene had just mostly done it on her own, imitating moves from music videos in Youtube. Mags wasn't scared of laughing at herself, she didn't have that much pride, but she was kind of scared looking stupid in front of someone she wanted to like her. Well, Aria did seem like a cool, fun person, so surely she wouldn't judge...right?

"You're overthinking this, just wear as little as possible and maybe you don't even need to get to the club before doing some-"
Abab's voice echoed in Magdalene's head, making her sigh and rub her temples. She blocked the demon's messages, cutting off a sentence she was glad he couldn't finish, and resumed staring at her clothing options spread on the bed. Mags didn't have many club-like clothes, but she had several pairs of denim shorts and some tops that looked kinda club-ish. And in the end Mags chose denim shorts that reached bit above mid-thigh and refreshingly green tank top, that hugged the little curves Magdalene had and almost showed her navel. And on top of that top Mags put a black denim vest with some metal studs on the shoulders. The outfit was planned so Mags swimmer's build wasn't too obvious but she showed off her legs and shoulders. And on her feet Mags had her only nice leather boots, that kinda looked like feminine cowboy boots and reached mid-calf. They were comfortable and good for dancing. When it came to makeup Mags had just done simple smoky eye makeup that accented the blue of her eyes and a touch of green lipstick to match with the tank top. Surprisingly Mags liked and was good at makeup, trying out makeup tutorials had been one of her only joys on long, rainy days. Same with hair, Mags had inherited her mother's difficult hair quality so she knew how to handle it. Mags had tied her hair into a nice loose bun, then teased the loose strands and created a messy fun look, just her style. Everything was perfect, Mags looked nice but not like she tried too much.
...Abab was right, Mags was thinking about this too much.

"So we have a deal? If you touch her or her friends weirdly in any way I will go to church every day for three weeks, and you will let me have control."
Magdalene made things straight with Abab as she stood outside the dorm waiting, glaring at her left arm and sending the demon inside it a mental message. Abab kept quiet for 10 seconds, until finally he groaned and almost roared from frustration.
"Fine! But you better get laid within the next three weeks!"
Mags wanted to sigh from relief, but didn't give Abab the satisfaction. Instead she looked around, resuming waiting for Aria. And she didn't have to wait for long, few meters to her right a portal opened up about 5 minutes later, and Magdalene saw Aria step out. She smiled and headed over, suddenly feeling kind of weird. This was such a new scenario, one she had seen in movies and series many times. But it was so different when you experienced it yourself.
But Mags was determined to just be herself, and that was exactly how she acted when she went over to Aria, confident smile on her face.
"Hi again. Don't you clean up nice."
Magdalene cringed at that line the moment it came out of her mouth, and she snorted a bit and waved her hand a bit dismissively.
"That sounded both better and worse in my head. What I mean, in normal person words, is that you look really nice."

Aria spotted Magdalene pretty quickly. Sure there were other students coming and going, but she was the only one standing there waiting. Her eyes passed across her in one quick, smooth motion. Mags looked right on the line between not having dressed up for this and having spent real time getting ready. From her own experience Aria suspected there was a little more involved than it appeared but why call that out? In the end she looked pretty hot and would fit right in with the others. Or... fit in with her if they decided to split off a little. She'd see how things went.

She couldn't help but squint a little at Mags' opening line. Geez, it was like she stepped directly on a rake and got hit by the handle on that one. "Yeah... most people don't open with being surprised I can be nice looking," she laughed and stepped over a little closer. Maintaining the portal, though the image of the destination flicked to all black as she changed where it was linked to with a thought. She deliberately positioned herself to be on Mags' "good" side.

"Well then in normal person words you look very cute yourself. I hope you're ready to have a good time tonight. Come on, let's get this party started," she chuckled again and offered a hand, wiggling her fingers a little, to lead Mags into the portal. Now emitting the faint glowing background of a spot near the line for the club. On the other side they could just make out the forms of a group of people. Mostly other girls, though there was a couple effeminate guys waiting too- they in particular seemed a little more interested in eachother than the portal. One girl and guy even looked like they had to be twins, with the same straight black hair and crystal blue eyes.

Yup, the line was cringy for Aria too, of course it was. Magdalene had blocked Abab from her head but she could almost hear him laughing.
"If anything feels like falling off a building that line does. Let's say that was strike one. I'm new at this, so I have four strikes before you're allowed to portal me to wherever you want where I won't cause shame for myself and you ever again."
Mags joked, and chuckled. Though when Aria stepped closer to her Mags' pulse couldn't help but heighten for a moment, since the girl really did look really nice. But Mags didn't let her flustered mood show to the surface and instead maintained the confident small smile she normally always had.
"For sure you can look nice, you almost make it an art form."
Mags tried this again, this time with more flirt, and her words were sincere. Honestly, flirting was something new to her too. People had hit on her, but Mags had never flirted back. But Mags had already decided not to force anything out of herself she knew she couldn't do well, so she just let it come naturally.

"In party person words, hell yes I'm ready to have a good time. Let's rock this joint, redhead style."
Mags laughed a bit at her choice of words, and with a small grin she took the hand Aria was offering. Good, Mags' hands weren't sweaty, that would've been just perfect. Mags looked through the portal and saw the club, it looked way fancier than any of the nightclubs she had been to before. But somehow, when Mags saw the crowd and lights and heard the music faintly she felt excited rather than nervous or anxious. Magdalene, perhaps due to Abab's influence, was drawn to these kinds of places that looked a bit shady. And she was ready to have this new experience, with someone she found attractive and knew she could have fun with. And this time Mags actually looked like she belonged here, not having to hide her demon arm and being able to test out her makeup and dressing up skills.

As the two stepped through the portal Magdalene almost went ahead of Aria, excited to get this show on the road, and she smiled at the other girl, still holding her hand for a moment longer if Aria allowed it.
"Well then, are there any wise words you can provide me with before we step into this den of dancing?"
Mags asked with a chuckle, and noticed in passing that Aria's hair looked very pretty when the lights reflected off of it.

Aria for her part shrugged off the awkwardness. She liked to think she was pretty good at seeing an honest mistake for what it was and really didn't wan to spoil the night on account of a few nervous words. She doubted very much that she looked that good in what she was wearing, but flirty compliments were always nice to get. She winked at Mags as she took her hand and pulled her just a little bit closer to herself as they approached the portal. Subtle, but not imperceptibly so.

Through the portal they stepped and it was almost like bring dunked into a new reality. From the quiet and serene landscaping of the campus to the loud, bright atmosphere just outside the club. People in far more elaborate outfits moved around them, some in line to get in and others just cavorting around in the street. The Strip was definitely a lively place on a Saturday night, even if they weren't even going into one of the less wholesome establishments around the area.

Aria didn't object to having her hand held just a little bit longer. In fact as Mags asked for advice the haloed redhead smiled back and raised herself up onto the balls of her feet to crane her head up, bringing her lips nearer to Mags' ear. "I have two pieces of advice. Stick close, and when in doubt use those hips," she whispered only just loud enough to be heard over the background noise. Then she chuckled and pulled Mags towards the small group that seemed to have been waiting for them.

At that point Aria realized she was still kind of holding the girl's hand and moved her other one over to cup around it for a second before slipping free to hop over and throw an arm around the male of the black haired "twins" in a friendly hug. "Mags this is KirMir, one of my good friends here. KirMir this is Mags, she's with me," she introduced. Deliberately leaving things open and vague for now, though she seemed to gesture at both the male and female when introducing KirMir. Kir gave the smallest of smiles and nodded at her, offering a short but polite and not unkind greeting. Mir was occupied in conversation with someone else and didn't react to Mags really.

Aria went on down the line as she gave the names of the handful of other friends that would be part of the group for the night, at least until people started to split off. The guys were apparently going by 'G' and 'J' for whatever reason and two of the girls' names were accompanied by a good-natured warning from Aria that they could drink anyone under the table and would steal a kiss if you weren't paying enough attention respectively. To which they each laughed and gave Aria a hard time too. Mostly about how she was an unashamed flirt.

As they joked the group made their way inside. The bouncers nodding at the familiar faces of the regulars and only briefly stopping everyone to check IDs. Aria used the pause to slip back close to Mags' right side. "So... what do you think so far?"

Aria was good at this. That much was obvious when the girl answered Mags question by leaning in nice and close and whispering the words into Mags' ear. It made a small, pleasant shiver go down her spine and the breath Mags felt on her ear was...jolting. But she didn't back down or anything, it didn't feel unpleasant, and Mags chuckled a bit and used her hips to give Aria's hips a playful nudge.
"Do I have to be in doubt to use them?"
Mags asked with a small grin, similarly leaning close but not really as close as Aria had been, speaking her words at a volume so they could be heard over the music and chatter.

Mags was pulled on over to a group of people, that merged into the crowd that was waiting to get in. It was a bit of a shame when Aria let go of Mags' hand, but she forgot about that when the girl began introducing her friends. Or...friend? Since the twins' introduction seemed to go down kinda like they were two people with the same name. And Aria did say "one" of her good friends. But Mags didn't dwell on it too much and just kept it cool, nodding back at Kir, smiling confidently.
"Good to meet ya, KirMir."
Mags didn't really have time to figure out something clever to say before Aria moved on, and to each Mags returned a nod or whatever personal greeting they decided to give her. Mags laughed at the friendly shade Aria and her friends threw back and forth, and added a quick quip in between about her having good reflexes, she could dodge a kiss or two. Though when they teased Aria about being an unashamed flirt Mags couldn't help but grin a bit and look at Aria.
"Oh really? You don't say?"
Mags said and winked playfully, giving a good-natured laugh.

Magdalene gave a general introduction to the group as they gradually moved down the line, and also explained the deal with the left demon arm, naturally joking about Abab being an asshole and all the good stuff. Thankfully Abab didn't feel pissed enough to start showing off some of that assholery and still left Mags in charge of the arm. In fact Mags used that arm to show the bouncer her ID and prove she was a healthy baby girl of 20 years already, thank you very much.
Inside was...loud, and crowded, and nothing like Mags had seen before. If she were here alone Mags admitted she would probably feel kind of anxious. But she was very soon reminded that she wasn't alone, when Aria appeared by her side, asking Mags' thoughts thus far. Mags hummed in thought and narrowed her eyes thoughtfully at the club, until smiling down at Aria.
"Well, my virgin lips have not yet been stolen by your fun friends, this place is lively and seems to have pretty good music, and your hair looks very good in these lights so thus far it has been pretty good."
Mags chuckled, and if Aria allowed it she'd take the girl's hand again. What? Aria said she should stick close to Mags was sticking close.

Aria laughed at the quick response to her advice, enjoying the playfulness Mags seemed to exude. It was going to be a good night, she could already tell. But she also hit the point where, mentally, she figured she was maybe coming on just a little too strong. She had to pace herself, see if mags really was the kind of person she appeared to be. Also she didn't want to fall all over the girl before they even hit the dance floor. Geez.

"Of course not, just try not to hip check me into someone else's lap tonight," she had laughed and continued on with the introductions. The amount of physical contact though had not gone unnoticed. Or unappreciated. The quick bite-sized introductions were amusing, and Mags definitely got a playful wink at the comment about kisses. Though the girl was clearly just messing around. Aria wasn't one to blush heavily or super noticeably but there was a faint tinge of pink to her cheeks at being called out for being flirty. She laughed it off though. There was some truth to it after all.

Aria was not bothered in the least by the crowds and the noise. This was how she spend a lot of her Friday or Saturday nights when she could. Even if she wasn't trying to see who might catch her eye it was an outlet. A release. Time she could just relax and let herself get lost in the music and dancing. Though the particular word choice Mag's had used made her laugh. Virgin lips. Really? Then the part about her hair catching the light made her laugh turn into a softer smile. It was nice to be complimented like that.

There wasn't any resistance to taking her hand again. All it took was Mags brushing her hand against Arias and the two girls were once more holding hands. Aria glanced down and then back up at Mags' eyes before smiling. Her halo bobbing along with her head a little bit. "And i've got a cute girl who can't stop telling me how pretty I am so I think things are going pretty well. I bet I can get you to let your hair down before the night is done," she grinned as she used her free hand to brush some of said hair behind her ear. "So tell me, are you ready to move those hips some more or should we wet those virgin lips with a drink first?" A causal nod towards the crowd dancing and the bar respectively. Funny how she almost was unknowingly using her horns to point at things.

Maybe because Mags wasn't able to do it much she really liked holding Aria's hand. The other contact hadn't been bad either, but it was best thus far.
And seemed that Mags wasn't that bad at this flirting thing after all, since her comment about Aria's hair in these lights earned Mags a soft smile. She was going to tone down the excessive compliments from now on, really. But Mags had just felt like she had to let Aria know that her hair looked amazing.
"You do? Who is that girl, I should probably take notes from her because my words just don't do you justice."
Mags grinned a bit, okay, this was the last one, she swore that to herself. She also swore to herself that she would definitely let her hair down gradually tonight, so Aria would have more chances to swiped Mags' hair behind her ear. It felt nice and strangely intimate, and now it was Mags' turn to smile softly.
"That's a bold statement, let's see if you can hold onto that bet."
Mags chuckled, and looked at Aria's hair for a moment. She wanted to touch it, but her right hand was occupied and Mags was slightly hesitant to touch anyone with her left hand. So Mags decided to perhaps return the favour later, when her right hand was more ready to roam.

"I think my virgin lips would like some liquid courage, that oughta loosen my hips even more."
Mags answered with a small laugh, and used said hips to nudge Aria gently towards the bar. Mags would let Aria lead the way, so to say, but she made sure to stay on the side of the dance floor so Mags could shield Aria from the occasional accidental bump. Her shoulders were perfect for this, they were so wide they practically cleared them a path. Like Moses splitting the sea, if some metaphor was to be used. And while they walked Mags swung their joined hands back and forth slightly, her mood and spirits being very high.
As the two got to the bar Mags looked through the options. There were some classics in there she had seen before, but naturally there were some weird MC options thrown in and those automatically drew Mags' attention. Mags turned to look at Aria with a slight head tilt and a curious smile.
"What is it going to be for you? I think I'll start light with a fruit cocktail."

It was goofy and silly, and Aria really didn't mind at all. Mags had made it pretty clear she wasn't super used to doing this kind of thing. Or at least not so freely and without worrying about keeping things hidden, so Aria tried to give her time to let the nerves out. A drink would definitely help with that.

The nudge of the hips bounced her forward a step or so, with a slight exclamation like a giggle escaping from her lips as she laughed and headed towards the bar. "Just don't get too courageous on me. We can't have you forgetting my dance lessons can we?" She smirked and gave Mags a slight pull of the arm to make her take a step too. Perhaps a little more aimed towards Aria than the bar itself but... maybe that was the intention.

Aria did notice how Mags was sort of positioning herself as a blocker as they walked. Aria knew she could hold her own, especially since she was quite used to this atmosphere, but she had to admit it was nice every now and again to have someone feel protective about you. Had her hand not already been occupied she might have tried to slip it around Mags' waist. But there was plenty of time for more contact later. Dancing usually brought out all the stops.

She didn't need to look at a drink list to know what she wanted. There were a couple options Aria usually picked between, depending on the situation but she couldn't help but tease Mags a little. "Going light and fruity huh? Alright then," she remarked as she slipped up to the bar. having to wedge herself closer to Mags in the crowd around it so she could be heard by both her and the bartender. Their hips up against each other. "I'll have a Sex on the Beach please." Picked deliberately because it was a very fruity cocktail, and because of the name of course. It wasn't a crazy MC invention but the Narrow Reality knew how to make decent drinks.

Notably though she didn't let Mags order for herself. Making sure she got her drink directly from the bartender. A safe night out was a safe night out. Even if she didn't mistrust the girl, Aria had her way of doing things.

A pull for a push was just fair, or so Mags thought when Aria returned the favour of her hip bump by pulling her forward. Mags did take a slightly wobbly step forward, gladly ending up closer to Aria, and snickered a bit at girl's words.
"I'll become just courageous enough to make this night unforgettable."
Mags answered playfully as she fell in step with Aria.

"You can never go wrong with light and fruity. Although normally I would go for ice cold beer. What can I say, it's the German in me."
Mags didn't mind being teased a little, and she laughed as she slipped over to the bar with Aria, and their hips made close contact yet again when they were trying to get their orders to the bartender. Mags had a feeling this wasn't the last time tonight that their hips were going to touch, judging from the dancing she saw going on on the dance floor. She was starting to look forward to that more and more.
Aria's drink choice, or more its name, made Mags' eyebrow rise, and there was a small amused and kind of flustered smile on her lips. Well, she couldn't possibly lose to that, now could she? Mags turned to look at the drinks list and was glad to see that drink was being served here.
"And I'll have a Flirtini, thank you kindly."
Aria wasn't the only one who could make wordplay with drink names, and Mags sent her a wink and a small grin.

As their drinks arrived Mags took hers with a cheery smile, thanking the bartender, and she snorted a bit to herself when a fun story came to her mind. Mags turned to Aria with a grin.
"Shame they don't serve one of my favourite cocktails here. It was served at a nightclub near my home back in Germany, and it was called Devil's Handshake, ironically. There was a version of it called Devil's Punch, but that would always give Abab some bad ideas so I stopped ordering it. The aftermath was never pretty."
Mags laughed a bit at her own story, this was actually the first time she got to tell it to someone. It had always just spun in her head and made her giggle randomly now and then.
