Private Is This A Date?

"Well....they're agreement allows duels to settled arguments," he'd say with a sigh. "So, not all the fighting has stopped, but at least it's not a war anymore," he knew there were some who hated the peace, but they hadn't tried anything yet.

He'd smile. "Its ok, its actually really nice being able to talk about it, plus....well I'd say were becoming friends, I think it's fair to ask about things." He'd take a sip of his drink. "Things with the other young clan members are still....weird, so it's nice to talk to someone my age."

The half dragon would nod. "Yeah, I learned to bake and cook when I was young," he'd say with a smile. "I made a pretty big loaf, so there's plenty of it, enough so you can take some home."

He'd chuckle. "Maybe I'll learn to shift my sword into a spoon," he'd grin, "a magic spoon that'll make food taste amazing." That was an amusing thought, he could only imagine what his family would think of that.

"Oh I know,' he'd say with a tiny laugh, "I know not everyone liked to sparr and fight." He imagined the world would be really weird if everyone liked to fight. "I'm not going to challenge everyone I meet to a fight," he'd say with a chuckle.

The half dragon would take a bite of his food, eating it before consuming. "Thank you, I'd appreciate a little help, social stuff, or all seems a bit harder and more complicated than fighting."

He'd him in thought, taking in her advice, it all seemed good. "Yeah, I don't want to worry all the time," he'd chuckle, "I imagine that wouldn't really be healthy." He didn't want to end up a nervous wreck, especially since he was finally making friends.

"Playing piano helps me relax a lot, writing music," that's usually what he went to when he was feeling stressed. "I just...y'know, don't want to always rely on it."

His left hand would go up, rubbing a spot just behind his left eyebrow. "So....the people here...there generally ok with half dragons?" he'd ask, "the teachers say they are, but I still kinda wanted to ask a student about it."

He'd hum in thought, nodding. "That's good," it was at least one thing he wouldn't have to worry about, or at least he'll worry about it a tiny bit less.

The half dragon would chuckle a tiny bit. "We'll you've beaten one half of a dragon at least," he'd say with a smile. "Though I do just look like a human with horns."

Arno would finish his food. "Thank you," he'd smile, "its good talking to a friend about all this."

He couldn't help but grin too, even blushing a tiny bit. "I'm happy you liked the food, and I'm always up for sparring again, and y'know...just hanging out like we are now."

Arno was happy they were past the awkwardness from earlier. He was actually lowkey proud that he'd managed to get through it all.

"You can take the leftovers home, I'll wrap it up for you when you're ready," it was odd really, wasn't that long ago when him and his parents were nomadic and didn't have much food to spare. "You wanna do this again sometime?" he enjoyed it, despite the early awkwardness.
