Vatar was all packed and done with his final class for the day. It was just a foreign language class so his brain wasn't too rattled to focus on the upcoming events. He had heard from his friend about an app for people to practice with other students on campus. Wierd didn't fully describe how he felt. Not only did it ask a bunch of questions he had to put a picture of himself.
He hated pictures.
Granted it made sense considering the two individuals would be working together, but still.....ew. He wasted no time in getting to the gymnasium where he and a "Matt" were supposed to meet up. Thanks to the app he knew what kind of trouble he was getting into. Pyrokenises was how it was described. To him, that just meant a lot of fire and a lot of chances for him to lose his hair. Of course, his powers were listed also, though in comparison they seemed far more lackluster and showy. Making a soul wouldn't help him and he was sure giving the poor guy a disease was not agreed upon anywhere in the terms of service.
The name of the app was called "Atom". Why? He had no clue in the slightest the person who told him about the app was apparently friends with the creator and even he didn't know where it had popped up from. Whatever the reason it was slowly growing more popular among students of all ages. Just last week he remembered seeing a college girl from his old class teaching a junior in high school on how to control their telepathy and the two met on Atom. Students helping Students seemed like a great idea and plus it was as easy as swiping left or right.
Vatar wasn't lost on the simplicity it shared with things like Tinder. Part of him questions if this was like a date. His partner in the gym seemed to think so as he teased him all week about the upcoming meeting.
Entering the large and empty gymnasium he dropped his bag to the side and pulled out his phone to let his wife know he would be coming in late. With a drawn-out slide down the wall, he sat on it waiting for Matt to show up.
"I should probably tie my hair up...." he spoke to himself.
