Appearance Description: Ira looks like a demon with his horns and that long prehensile tail. He stands at 5’3” Ire’s skin is gray with red markings, and his hair flows and vaguely appears to be on fire. It is not, it’s just hair. His angry eyes are yellow with black sclera. Ire also sports claws and a mouth full of shark like teeth.
Ira can take on a three foot tall imp like form. His hair is effectively harmless fire, He has no arms, instead a pair of flaming floating gauntlets that resemble his weapon form.
His weapon form is a large sinister looking deathfist that covers his weilder’s forearm. He sports claws capable of grasping, as well as a single red eye.
Personality Description: In a nutshell, he’s like the song Beat You to Death by Gwar. Loud, aggressive, bombastic, punchy… very punchy. Kind of what one would expect of a death fist weapon shifter. That’s at least what he presents on the surface. He’s actually a scared kid, mostly putting up a front. He’s not easily trusting and tends to be pretty standoffish initially, once he warms up though he’s a loyal friend to have.
Active Abilities:
Shifting: Ira, can freely shift between his weapon, imp, and normal forms. His standard humanoid form grants him the standard range of movements. When he’s an imp he is capable of levitating ten feet above the ground, his floating hands can move freely within five feet of him. As the death fist, he can crawl with his fingers. As a death fist, Ira takes on whatever side happens to be his wielder’s dominant hand.
Fire Fists: In spite of his overall fiery appearance, Ira can only utilize his hands and forearms to generate heat or damaging flames. He can lob fireballs, and fire streams of fire at targets. He’s capable of channeling, and generating temperatures of up to 2000 degrees fahrenheit.
Shield Breaker: Ira can generate a barrier that is capable of stopping a small caliber bullet. This force can then be absorbed to deal back with his next strike.
Bonding: If Ira opts to bond with a single person and let them utilize him in battle they will receive access to some of his abilities. He also gains immunity to attacks they may channel through him. Ira will synchronize with their partner’s fighting patterns, and awareness while adding his own input. He can effectively guide his users. In the long run, Ira will grow and become stronger in proportion to his partner. Should the bond be severed for any reason, he will lose any additional strength he’s gained and revert to his base abilities. Both of them must be of the same mind, otherwise Ira will become too heavy for them to move, or in some cases burn them. The same is true of someone not bonded with him attempting to wield him or trying to force him.
Passive Abilities:
Physique: Being a living weapon, Ira’s body is five times stronger than steel, and capable of withstanding extreme heat and cold. His reflexes are on a superhuman level. He can lift roughly one ton, and run up to forty mph. In his fist form, Ira is capable of communication, and he doesn’t need to breathe.
Weakness exploit: Ira can naturally spot physical weaknesses in objects or people he happens to be looking at.
Living Weapon: While he is in fact a living breathing being, he doesn’t register as one. Instead magic that would treat him as a live target ignores him as if he were an inanimate object.
Weaknesses: Ira cannot swim at all, he’s very dense and will sink. If left submerged for long enough, he will simply change into his weapon form and go dormant, until he’s brought onto dry land. Ira is highly conductive to electricity which serves as an easy way to deal a good deal of damage to him. He can’t be healed through normal means if he is injured, instead he needs to be taken to a blacksmith of some kind and repaired or reforged like a weapon.
Biography: Ira is a living weapon originally forged for a young fire god. Things were great at first, roaming the land, fighting monsters, and getting stronger. But eventually the god had a second fist forged, who happened to be better than him in terms of ability, and Ira began falling out of favor. The final straw was the point when the god requested Ira and his sibling switched hands, making him be the left hand. This angered the death fist, and he outright refused.
In punishment for this he was stripped of his power and cast out of his realm. Upon waking up, he found himself already in custody of the scouts and on his way to Manta Carlos. He’s in cultural classes, and settling in to his new island life.
