Running from unjnown fears... what a sight she would make...
Her feet lightly touching the uncovered rock... Shadows clunged to her lithe frame as panck rose in her chest... The reason was unknown to her but she had felt a seering fear piercing her heart... And now, she was fleeing, in an unknown direction...

She stumbled and rolled... she slided to the edge of the rock...
She fell but her claws dug in the rock. The vampire Dangled from the edge, red eyes widening and a growl at the edge of her lips...

A soft gasp escaped the young girls lips. She looked at the woman running... she looked like she was running for her life! But, why? Adelina ducked behind a rock and watched as the woman continued running.

She gasped again, although this gasp was louder than the last. Her eyes instantly became wide... the woman had fallen and was hanging onto one of the rocks now.

Adelina didn't hesitant to move from her hiding spot. She ran to where she had fallen and knelt down. She went as close to the edge as she could, not wanting to fall off herself. She reached her hand out to her.

"Take my hand, I'll help you up!" she said, although she was sure it was obvious what she was doing.

The vampire heard a gasp... but her attention wasn't on the girl now leaning towards her own frame. What she was seing was her own to know, but some things weren't always as they seemed. Her fear was there griping at the edges of her mind. She dug her claws further in the rock... Nightmares weren't uncommon, but those weren't pleseant in the least. The vampire turned her eyes to the girl...
-Why ever would you waste your energy?-
But a shadow approached from behind the human and the vampire's eyes widened in absolute fear... A voice arose from beyond the young body, it was cold and merciless.
-My, my, my, what do we have here...?- a cold male voice asked.

"I want to he—" Adelina stopped talking when she heard a voice behind her. She turned her head slightly, half of her wanting to see what it was and half of her not. She swallowed hard, now becoming a little afraid herself.

Oh no, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonne die... she stopped thinking these thoughts and mentally slapped herself. She took a deep breath. I'm not afraid! I'm not afraid at all...

She swallowed again; these thoughts weren't helping much. She looked at the man that was behind her, her eyes narrowing.

"I can deal with you in a moment, so be pateint and I'll give you a real fight... it's not a fight if you just attack a poor little girl when she's not ready, you know."

And I'm no poor little girl. Her courage was rising somewhat... well, it wasn't exactly courage; she didn't know what it was, but she didn't care about that at the moment.

Adelina turned back to the woman, stretching her hand out even farther. "I want to help, I can't just let you fall! Take my hand!"

She growled to the man behind the younger girl... She adressed him in a harsh tongue, voice commanding and dark. While she was speaking, she grasped the offered hand and dragged herself up...
Damon, why am I not pleased to see you? Be gone evil minion of my father before I skin you alive and rip every last organ from your body.
She held her ground now that she knew what had been chasing her...
Geez... he drawled answering... Your vocabulary hasn't improved in time.

Adelina looked between the two of them, a confused look upon her face. She didn't have a clue what they were saying, although she could tell that the woman wasn't happy about seeing the man from the tone of her voice. She bit the inside of her upper lip, wondering if she should take the chance and leave or if she should stay.

Perhaps, she thought, I'll actually understand what's going on if I stay here... and maybe if I don't make a sound they'll forget I'm here... but then again, I might get involved, and who knows what'll happen then...

Against her better judgement, Adelina stayed where she was, being as silent as possible.

The man had a glint in his dark red eyes, he was looking intently at the young girl...
-Espèce de pervers dépravé!-she called to him.-Do not even think about it!-
She lashed out to the man and left him with a bloody cheek.
-I should not have made my father spare your life when your treachery was discovered.-
She was now seething in anger to the fear master...
She let out a string of insults in the same harsh language as before...

Adelina didn't like the way he was looking at her... and why was he looking at her? She tried to ignore it by watching the other female. She had just made his cheek bleed!

Yeah! Go... uh... go you! she thought to herself, trying not to let any emotion cross her face. However, when she started talking in those words she couldn't understand again, her eyes showed slight confuson; she couldn't help it.

Well, confusion is better than something else, I suppose... she thought once again.

She barked something harsh to the man and set herself to be between the pervert man and the girl... effectively cutting him from getting any closer than he already was. Idiotic moron... she thought.
-What is your business here bloody perv?-she asked him.
The man looked at her with the same evil glint...

she sneered....
