Once again Kacey just shrugged, "Probably not as good as my dad." Kacey said, seeing how he was famous and she was just.....well wasn't. Kacey finally turned to look at Ian.

"I don't know." said Ian, "I've never heard your father but I am sure he'd have some tough competition." Ian said with a smile as Kacey turned to face him.

"Right...." Kacey said a little smile began to form, "You have something on your mind. I can tell. You can tell me." Kacey said, her empathy powers working even though she wasn't trying to use them.

"I do?" asked Ian, "It'd be cool if I knew what was on my mind." he said trying to think of anything that her powers would be picking up. The only thing he had thought of all day was her really but he didn't want to say that was what was on his mind since it was directly linked to whatever had happened the other day.

Kacey sighed sadly. "Ian I have something to tell you but before I tell you I need to know we are friends no matter what and we‘ll still be friends." Kacey began saying.

"Okay." said Ian with a slight nod, "But listen, if you don't want to tell me then you don't have to but whatever it is, I'll listen."

Guilt came her over, "I'm sorry, another boy kinda asked me out and I said yes......" Kacey said looking at the floor at this point, "Still friends?" She asked.

Ian looked at her, "What makes you think that I wouldn't be your friend anymore?" said Ian.

"Nothing I just thought.......never mind. I'm just glad." Kacey said to him, her eyes looked at him then back at the window. Kacey began to play the piano again.
