"I stand out a little yeah, but I dont really have other clothes, plus I dont really mind." if there was one thing Atlus minded when it came to his appearance it was his arm, the golden one that belong to a demon lord, he had tried to sever it a few times, but it never really worked.

"Im assuming you can change your appearance right? No offense but youre a little tall for some of the places here."

He didn't have any other clothes? So he just had the one suit of armor? Hudson looked as skeptical as it was possible for a dragon to look skeptical.

"You could just buy new clothes." He said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. To him, it was. The idea of clunking around in heavy armor... well, it was unecessary to say the least. "Yes, I can revert to a human form when needed." That was obvious too. There were very few oversized creatures on the island that hadn't learned to crush themselves down to a human size. There simply wasn't a place for them if they couldn't. The city streets were wider than they might have been in a European city, but not nearly large enough for a dragon to stroll through.

"Im fine with this, dont really mind if I stand out. Besides im a little sentimental I like having all this armor close to me."

Atlus couldnt stand being away from his sword, he needed it to be close to him, the blade was forged with the weapons of his fallen comrades, it was all he had left of them now.

"So uh... you curious as to whats in this tsunami too? If we worked together im sure we could get inside of it."

Hudson eyed the armored man warily. He seemed a bit... deranged. Perhaps that was just the impression the armor gave off, since most people wouldn't ever think to wear armor.

"Curious as to... what is inside water?" He eyed him warily, unsure if there was some kind of hidden motive behind what he was saying. "I would imagine more water. Even if someone is controlling it, they're unlikely to ride along with it." No, if anything he imagined it had been summoned up and let to wreak havoc on it's own.

"Damn, suppose youre right."

It was a bit illogical to think the whoever had created this tsunami would be inside it. He thought a bit more about what the old dragon had told him, perhaps he should drop the armor. But what if he needed it? And he couldn't be without his sword. Hed think more about it after this storm was finished up perhaps.

"Look like I should start looking for somewhere safe to hide then, where can I find you after this storms through, youre good conversation."

The more he spoke, the more convinced Hudson became that his original assessment was correct. The armored man was deranged. He was absolutely mad.

He let out another little snort.

"Is this your way of fishing for a ride out?" If so, it was working. If Hudson left him, he'd almost definitely die. Short a teleportation spell, there really wasn't going to be any place for him to go to be safe on such short notice, and heavy armor like that would sink him like a rock. Unless Hudson took him with him when he took off, he'd inevitably drown beneath the wave, and Hudson wasn't quite mean enough to do that.

He was grinning like a massive asshole underneath that helmet.

"Ya caught me. I can probably figure something out if you say know, but if youd help me out id appreciate it."

He needed to throw in a little more to sweeten the deal.

"Plus ill owe you a favor or two.

Hudson let out an exasperated sigh. He didn't have much choice, did he? Even if he thought the armored man was a pain in the ass, for the most part he was too accepting of humans to just let one die.

"I'm not a pony, so I hope you're capable of holding on in that armor." He said, shifting his massive size halfway down before deciding that it simply wasn't going to work and standing up. Instead, he moved his back foot over, resting it a few feet away from the armored figure.

"You'll just have to hold on." And hopefully he could keep a good hold, because if not, he was going to go flying off.

Atlus cracked his knuckle, just the one, and checked himself to make sure his armor and gear was all staying on.

"Ive ridden a dragon once before, though I admit those where fairly different circumstances."

He grabbed onto the dragons foot, and held on really really tight...

His scales were thick enough that, while uncomfortable, Atlas would be able to get a half decent grip. There wasn't exactly a lot of options. If he was on his back, he'd get thrown off, as Hudson's entire body bobbed with each stroke of his wings. His back end and hindlegs were the most stable of the lot.

"Hold on." He shifted his foot, giving it a little shake to make sure Atlas wasn't going to fall off, and then leapt into the air.

It was the sort of thing he couldn't have done any other day. The gust from his wings was enough to topple a table that had been left out front at a nearby cafe, and sent the few cars around them several feet away from their starting position. It took several powerful flaps of his wings to get them above the buildings, and from there it was far easier - he simply angled his wings and let the wind guide them, flapping only occasionally as he soared out to sea.

"There won't be much to see, but we might as well look." He rumbled.
