Raheal looked inside the abandoned building with his reaper vision. Ten poor souls. Two at the door, three conversing, one likely smoking and two in the back. This was going to be a fight at least. Raheal slid down from his vantage point and walked to the guarded door. One of the guys noticed Raheal and laughed. "What is this hal-" The man was silenced with a bang and he fell to the ground, dead. The other guard hurried to his gun but was stopped by another shot, that guard collapsed in pain but was silenced with one more shot. Raheal paused for a moment and looked at the two men, one was human, the other....some fish person. He shook his head and opened the door. Immediatly as he opened it all eyes were on him. At the back a cyclops was sitting down, suitcases full of drugs and money were on the table in front of him. "So your the hitman my men told me about." The cyclops said. "Well it's not like your the first. You know what to do boys. They all went for their guns and Raheal was quick to act, firing at the loner, killing him. He moved his aim to the guards at the table. Raheal fired two shots, missing both. He raised his second revolver and fired three shots, hitting one of the guards but missing the other two shots. Raheal couldn't get anymore shots off before having to retreat to cover. Raheal waited as shots rang past him. Then, silence. Believe it was a sign to go, he moved from his cover, only to be fired at. Five shots hit him. He looked at his cloak and saw the holes it made. "You know how hard it's going to be to get this fixed?" Raheal raised his revolvers and fired four shots. Each one of them hitting their target and the guards collapsing dead. Then he looked at the cyclops. "Heh. So this is how I die. To a monster dressed like it's Halloween." Raheal sighed and dissipated his revolvers. Slowly walking towards the cyclops. "A monster is something that feeds on fear. Something that lives to terrorize. I'm just doing my job." As Raheal reached the table he summoned his scythe, which the cyclops looked at, eye wide. Raheal made one quick slice and the cyclop's head fell of its body and onto the floor. Then. All Raheal heard was silence.

Gunfire was a sound Shay was all too accustomed with. Strangely, not only was it midday, but they weren't coming from the Underground. That was peculiar enough to have Shay checking it out, but even if it had been in the Underground in the pitch black, she'd have followed the sounds. That was just in her nature.

Shay looked around for Jericho, but she couldn't spot him. He was hidden somewhere nearby watching her, no doubt. She whipped out her phone and gave him a quick text.

Following the gunshots.

He wouldn't get it. They usually didn't. Shay didn't care -- she had to follow the sound of battle.

By the time she reached the warehouse, the cyclops was sliced through like butter with Raheal's scythe. She couldn't help it -- Shay gasped before covering her mouth and backing away. It wasn't that Eroshay was skittish by blood and bodies, it was just she was smart enough to know people that created bodies didn't tend to be friendly.

The scythe, the dark aura, the hood. This was a death-based creature. That much Shay knew, even if she wasn't one hundred percent on what type of creature. Death-based things weren't usually evil. They fell toward apathy.

"Who are you?"

When Raheal heard that voice he turned around to her. He dissapates his scythe and stared at her, but all Shay would be able to see is darkness where his head should be. He studied her. A girl. And a young one most likely. She wanted to know who he was. "Raheal" Raheal's voice was raspy and cold. It had an nonchalant tone. He had no idea who this girl was. Did she follow him? No he would have seen her, she must have heard the gunshots. "You have my name. What is yours?" Raheal did not move from where he was and kept his gaze on the girl. Even the most innocent looking things could be deadly here.

Jericho counted his lucky stars that this time he had a good vantage point to watch Shay from. This time he had his rifle, he was high up, and it was a sunny day. Perfect for keeping Shay safe and away from danger. Then the gunshots happened. He lowered his head quickly in disappointment before he checked his watch. It was practically midday. Any illegal activity shouldn't be happening during such an obvious time when so many witnesses would be out.

Jericho looked back into his binoculars to where Shay was and, of course, she decided to go directly towards the sounds. She never likes to stay away from danger, does she? he thought rhetorically to himself. Now he switched modes and knew that he'd have to get in close. He received a text from her and he replied back, I'll be close. Try not to provoke anyone.

He put his phone away and strapped his PSG 1 over his shoulder. Jericho dusted off his clothes before he ran along the rooftops to get nearer to Shay. Hopefully, this wouldn't turn south. Things always seemed to turn south when Shay decided to investigate something.

Shay wanted to roll her eyes (except Jeri wouldn't see it, she didn't think) at his comment. Provoke anyone, like she had ever -- okay; he had a point. But she was ten times safer than before, with Shivani right on her heels.

The Hellhound peered at Raheal, but it didn't growl, or make any move really. Once it had sat at Shay's side, it made no move or sound. unnatural.

"Eroshay. Just call me Shay. For future reference, that's not usually how it works." She motioned to the gore in the area around them. "This isn't one of those pleasant situations you can just ask a person for their name after you've given yours."

The girl breathed, slow, taking things in. Shay was looking for the best way to ask why some crazy bastard was killing random people, but really there was no way quite like just coming out with it.

"What the hell is all this? Why did you murder a warehouse of people? In midday, none the less?"

Raheal paused for a moment as he thought. "Shay. Very well. And noted." Raheal looked around the room and was silent. Honestly he could care less. People die every second. He was just doing his job. "I was hired to end that man's life." Raheal pointed to the now headless cyclops. "His men wouldn't let me do it easily so I did it the way most jobs end up. Which reminds me. I must reap the souls of these men before I leave to collect my pay." Raheal resummoned his scythe but remained where he was. Unmoving. Still keeping his gaze on Shay.

Hopping not too glamorously over an alley with his arms flailing wildly out to his sides, Jericho almost missed the edge of the roof. He tripped and rolled hastily to regain his momentum. He jogged lightly to the other edge and looked over the side while catching his breath. At least she keeps me fit, he thought. Jericho was now where Shay was when she went off toward the gunshots. He could see the direction she went off to and using her scent could find where she went without too much difficulty. Inconvenient, yes, but not too difficult. Jericho sighed before getting back up and sauntering over to where he felt she was.

Shay was now inside a building, so now Jericho would have to go inside after her. His rifle wouldn't be too much use inside so he would keep it on his back over his shoulder. Making his way down to street level, he unholstered his handgun and went inside the warehouse. Jericho came in at the tail end of the conversation. Shay had her hellhound out. Good or bad, he didn't know right now.

"I was hired to end that man's life. His men wouldn't let me do it easily so I did it the way most jobs end up. Which reminds me. I must reap the souls of these men before I leave to collect my pay."

"As good a reason as any, I suppose," Jericho said to announce himself. He moved over to Shay's side.

"Hired? You're an assassin." Shay couldn't help that she deadpanned at this as she watched Raheal. She was getting itchy when Jericho came to stand at her side, and Shay immediately relaxed.

When his scythe had been summoned, Shivani bared her red teeth and snarled, tail igniting in bright flame. It wasn't enough to make Shay jump, who was used to the Hellhounds protective nature. She remained staring at Raheal, too.

"Are you a Grim Reaper?" Shay only knew of the Grim Reapers in legend who had scythes, but maybe she was completely off.

"Yes I am an assassin. I pefer the term hitman but what ever you want to call me." When the hellhound snarled at Raheal Raheal just stared at it. "I'm not going to hurt her. Just going to reap the souls. No need to get aggressive hellhound." Raheal shook his head. Only to freeze when Shay called him a grim reaper. "Grim.......is a title only the horseman has the honor of bearing. I am merely a reaper. You may ask what is the difference. A reaper is just...Reaper.Grim Reaper is horseman is, the first reaper." Raheal stared at Shay "It is alright most people here make the mistake of me being the grim reaper."

"Huh, didn't know that there was more than just the one reaper. But is reaping a line of work? Reapers get paid?" Jericho said. He discreet looked over at Shay and then to the door. He hadn't dealt much with this sort, but Jericho immediately thought of several ways to subdue him if things did get ugly. No particular worries at the moment, but he had to be prepared. Seeing as the reaper appeared to be into killing for the money, Jericho wasn't tense. On guard, yes, but not tense.

Jericho put his hand on Shay's shoulder. "We should probably get going, Shay. Police will be here any minute and I don't think that we want any complications with them right now." He looked at the reaper with a pleasant look. "It's been interesting to meet you, sir, but I think it'd be best for all of us if we don't stick around. Police can make life rather difficult for both of our lines of work."
