This was it, this was the point of no return. Orsick shifted nervously as he stood in front of the door to his friend Ravina's home. It had been a busy week for him since the ball. He was left with her mask and a shoe at the ball. He was initially baffled by this but soon realized what game she was playing at. It was obvious, she even mentioned she wanted a fairy tale, which the eleven year old took as a challenge. If she was going to such lengths then so be it, so would he. The boy wasn't going to his older relatives for help with this, instead he'd enlisted the help of the family butler, Marduk to gather the necessary materials.
His suit from the ball had been cleaned and modified with a matching cape. He'd even gotten a new black mask for the occasion. Aside from the suit he had an ornate white box with gold trim and blue flower prints on it. Inside it contained Ravvy's shoe and her mask from the ball.
The little dragon managed to get here all on his own. People were giving him looks like he was some oddball for going to such lengths. "Let the commoners gawk at this noble scion," he thought. It's not like they would understand anyway. He adjusted the grip on his box and knocked on the door. He figured everyone would be home by this point. When the door opened he put on a serious face declaring, "I am Duke Orsick of House Drakenhardt here to personally deliver a lost shoe belonging to one Ravina Evans."

Mia and Ceidwen had gone to the masquerade briefly, but with how heavily pregnant Mia was it wasn’t very long until she was too tired and her feet were too sore to go on. It had been a nice time though, and Mia enjoyed the brief time she got to feel like a princess and dance with her beautiful girlfriend.
