Oh thank God I didn't die. Alex gave a weak laughter after being dropped. "Well, I'm new here, so I have a lot of learning to do. Back in California, no one had red eyes or fangs, so I didn't have to worry about being chased down."

Stepping back to put some distance between him and the guy, Alex said, "How about we redo our introduction? One where you're not pissed off and annoyed by me, and I'm not scared for my life. I'm Alex Joseph. What's your name?" He held out a hand, expecting the guy to shake it in a preferably in a gentle manner.

California, huh? Isaac could smell the fear on the boy from a mile away, he'd been right to be afraid, though. Isaac was a predator now, not just a human anymore. At least, that's what his master had told him. The vampire wished now that his master had been around for at least a bit longer, to teach him a few more things...but unfortunately, the world was still not so kind.

"You're not in the world of humans anymore," Isaac reminded the boy. He, too, took a half-step backwards in order to give them both a bit more room. Well. At least the guy could be amiable. "Isaac Montgomery," he took the offered hand and shook it, giving one of his half-smirks where one corner of his mouth lifted up in a rather charming sort of way.

At least the boy was kinder now. In fact, he didn't seem that bad. Alex should have expected that, considering anyone would have a negative impression of him if they realized he was the one being their pain in the ass. The boy even shook his hand and gave him his name. Alex's smile became more genuine after that.

"Yeah yeah, I know. Anyway, nice to meet you, Isaac. I'll be sure to be more careful next time. Got any advice, though? You don't seem much older than me, and I bet your vampire instincts make you pretty good at knowing your prey. Or are you not into the whole 'tormenting your victim' thing?" Alex was back into his weirdly casual self now. Despite knowing full well Isaac was a dangerous one, it helped for him to crack jokes and speak with a flippant tone to everything instead of panicking and running away. Since Isaac wasn't as aggressive as before, Alex appeared to be safe for now. He just had to tone down his obnoxious behavior.

The sharp scent of fear faded away as the boy began to relax, even his body posture showed that he was a little more comfortable now...Isaac wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. He knew he was a predator, but he wasn't sure if he really wanted people to be afraid of him or not. Perhaps just a respectful wariness would be satisfactory. Isaac wasn't really one to make friends.

Advice? Isaac wasn't sure what kind of advice he would give. "Picking your targets more carefully is one," though he'd already said that one. "Perhaps don't actually look guilty, many creatures can tell when you're lying, like vampires and werewolves. As for tormenting victims, I'm...not really into that sort of thing. I drink from the willing, if that's what you're asking." Of course, his charming aura did help with that. Drew people in, made them more willing.

Getting around the lying problem was going to be difficult. Alex didn't have to power to control his body or convince others he was telling the truth all the time. All he had was his human brain and telekinetic arms, which could only do so much in a place like this. With a sigh, his eyes wandered toward the city, observing the people passing by who either didn't see or care about the two teens hiding in the alleyway.

Alex leaned his body against a wall and looked back at Isaac. "How about you join me, then? You can show me how it's done. Though you did seem busy earlier, and I'm guessing you were hiding in the alleys for a different reason than mine, yeah?"

Isaac hesitated. Yes, he had been stalking around for a different kind of reason. "I'm hunting," he said, flashing his fangs again for clarity. "I haven't fed in a few days. If I wait too long it will cause me to rampage and then...who knows what I'll do?" He'd never been that far gone; when he was with his master, he had always been well-fed by the flock that his master kept, and he knew how to take care of himself now...because he had to.

"Unfortunately, I'm going to have to decline. If I don't feed soon I may miss an opportunity. Unless you'd like to donate," he raised an eyebrow at the other boy.

Again with flashing the teeth. Alex wanted to respond to how Isaac kept trying to appear threatening snarkily, but he quickly decided that he preferred keeping his blood inside of his body. And yet, when asked if he'd like to donate though, Alex's opinion changed slightly. Having his blood sucked from a vampire would be fascinating, but it sounded stupid too. It wouldn't be an issue if he only gave a little bit though, right? His reward would be seeing a live vampire in action, and that was something he couldn't miss out on.

"Uuh, sure, but wait, I like being human. Won't I turn into a vampire if I get my blood sucked?"

Isaac gave one of his usual smirks, the left corner of his mouth pulling upwards in clear amusement. "No. If I wanted to turn you, you'd be drinking my blood, too. It's not just the bite that does it. At least, not for my kind of vampire, anyways." He wasn't sure if there were types out there who could turn others from a single bite, but perhaps there were. Now that he was one of those things that went bump in the night, Isaac was willing to believe that all kinds of things were possible.

"It's easiest and least painful from the neck or the arm. I prefer to take from the neck, myself, but I suppose since you're being so...cordial, I'll let you have the choice. Don't worry about marks - they'll heal in a matter of minutes." His red eyes went to Alex's neck with a predatory gaze.

Alex immediately accepted, not truly thinking things through. Isaac could have been lying to get what he wanted, or Alex was no longer being impulsive and was just being stupid. Either way, something told him this wasn't a good idea, but the part of him that ran on pure curiosity and enjoyment won out in the end. Not like he could reject now since he already told Isaac he would do it.

"I'd prefer arm," he said, blushing lightly. "Not as close that way, y'know? Thanks for letting me choose, by the way." The thought of explaining to his mom why he came back home during the middle of the night with teeth marks on his neck was ridiculous. He could create a more convincing lie with his arm.

Isaac nodded and stepped closer to close the gap between them, picking up Alex's left arm in both of his hands and holding it steady. "It'll only hurt for a second. Try not to jerk around or anything," he said before lowering his head and attaching his mouth to the inside of Alex's elbow, his extra-sharp fangs piercing the soft skin easily.

Blood flowed over his tongue, thick and sweet. Isaac was silent as he fed from Alex for roughly half a minute, draining just enough blood to sate his thirst without weakening the boy too much. He'd had plenty of practice with it by now, he knew when to stop.

Finally pulling away, Isaac ran his tongue over the two holes in Alex's arm, his saliva sealing them up and allowing them to scab over quickly. The vampire straightened. "Like I said, the wounds will heal in a few minutes. See, already starting to fade. And your cooperation is...appreciated." Isaac's once red eyes were now a dark brown, and he appeared slightly more human than before.
