One of the things Nix absolutely loved about the city?
It always had the best people. And, as a newcomer to bar culture, he though it had pretty good bars too. Not that he was complainin' or nothin'; any bar that he could find was good enough. It was - it was almost like going café-hopping. Each café had its certain allure, a kind of thing that made it special, that made it awesome. Like... The way they did the foam, or the way their waitresses smiled. The way the seats crowded the room.
In this case, though, it was a little bit different. It was the way he acted, the people he met, how drunk he was. He'd only been drunk off his ass once. That'd been at a party of his best friends' - one which honestly was terrible.
But this?
Hell fuckin' yeah. This one had class, like one of those fancy bars. And the people? Well, Nix liked to think they weren't complete assholes here. Which was half-true, but still.
Finally he plopped himself down onto a cushy stool and gently put his elbow on the table, holding his head.
"Hey!" He greeted, friendly enough to grab the bartender's attention. "'Scuse me, but uhh. S'there a chance you guys've got something like a lite beer or somethin'?"
