Enelya skipping across the lawn, was chattering to Achimedes, her pet lizard.
"Things are so strange here, but I like it alright, I'm not considered 'that wierd girl who can make flowers grow' anymore. Everyone else has something unique about them too, which is comforting." she said.
"I agree, and, this means that you can talk to me and you won't get anymore funny looks!" replied Archimedes.

As they walked along, Enelya saw a nice shady tree, and went and sat under it. She looked around, and started humming. No one was around, but she didn't mind, the tree was friendly enough, and gave her a few tips. As she listened, she waved her hand, and out from the ground came a small daisy, and she played with it, turning the stem, making it grow ever which way like a vine. She grew quite a few, and started stringing them together to make a headband.

Noah was wandering around the grounds, desperately searching for something to do to alleviate his horrific boredom. He was done with his classes for the day, and he really wasn't in the mood for homework at the moment. Besides, it was a lovely day out - by his standards, that is - and he wanted to enjoy it.

His eyes skimmed over the lawn, backtracking to settle on the girl sitting under the tree. He raised an eyebrow, taking her in; blue hair, purple eyes - and was that a lizard? Alright. More normal then half the students here, he supposed. He shrugged, limping over to her. He had to go in that direction to get to the dorms, anyway...

"You're new?" Shot at the dark, but he'd never seen her before and he thought she'd be someone he'd remember. He glanced up at the sky, squinting against the sun and wishing he'd brought sunglasses, briefly loosing himself in his thoughts and almost forgetting about the girl sitting a few feet from him.

ooc: curses! Ignore me... This post never happened. *is in too many threads anyway*

"A unique power indeed."
The voice came from behind her as a male neared her, shaggy hair concealed bright green eyes. His hands were shoved in his back pockets as he moved his head to a side for the femme; Mikah could look innocent when he wanted to. He just rarely found a reason to do so. He gave the femme a boyish grin and shrugged.

“Are you new here?”
He seemed genuinely curious as took out his harmonica from his back pocket to put it in his front. He didn’t want to sit on it if he was to sit down.

The male was clad in loose jeans that obviously had paint stains on them, something a guy learns to live with after being raised in a family of artists. A long sleeve grey shirt was seen upon him as a black tee was over it, a red tie being upon him, accompanied by red converse.

He noticed the other male and introduced himself to both. Mikah had been around for quite a while but he had the habit of dissapearing for long periods of time, hence he didn't know that many people.
“My name’s Mikah.”
He introduced himself as he absently played with his lip ring.

Looking up at the tall figure, Enelya flashed a quick, radiant smile.
"Hello! I'm Enelya, and yes... I am new. And this here, is my lizard, Archimedes."

She put her crown of daisies on her head and stood up. As she noticed is various paint stains on Mikah's pants, she couldn't help but wonder, "What kind of things does he paint...?" Attempting to be an artist herself, she pondered the possiblity.

Archimedes crawled up on Enelya's shoulder, giving Mikah a scrutinizing look. He was always quick to judge. Nevetheless, Enelya was eager to make new friends.

"I, um, noticed the paint on your pants... do you have a gallery? Or just paint for fun? Because I paint for fun, I wouldn't exactly call my work 'art' but I have fun doing it anyways!" she gave her radiant smile and leaned against the tree she had she been chatting to before the young man arrived.

Mikah tipped an imaginary hat at the lizard.
Nice meeting you two.
He said boyishly as he grinned at her, moving his foot on the grass lightly in what could be considered a shy expression.

He shook his head.
I don't paint. Well I did but I wasn't good at it. I'm more of a musically inclined person. My family's filled with artists though, my parents and my little sister. All I can do are sketches.
He explained ask he took out his harmonica and played a few notes to emphasize his point. He had been taught several instruments and the male had the tendency of being stubborn and wanting to learn more even when he knew enough, yet it was known the male liked to mix his violin into different genres of music. Art of its own.

So will I be able to see this art of yours sometime?
He asked curiously, tilting his head to a side. The fact that he wasn't art oriented didn't mean that he wasn't able to appreciate it.

Archimedes replied, knowing Mikah wouldn't understand Lizard-Speak.
"I guess I could say the same to you."
Enelya frowned, and whispered, "Archie, be nice, you just met him."

Smiling, she turned to Mikah, "Oh thats wonderful! I am musically retarted, but thats okay, because I love listening to it!" She clapped as he finished playing his few notes.
"Well, mostly I paint sceneries, I was so excited when I found out the ocean was nearby, I'd love to paint that at sunset sometime soon. But sure, if you would like to see my paintings, go ahead!"

As she finished her sentence, she pulled the tree's branches more overhead the two of them wit ha waving motion of her arms, as the sun had moved, getting into their eyes, bringing them shade. Remembering that he sketched, being the scatter brained girl she was, Enelya asked,
"Oh, by the way, what do you sketch?"

Mikah smirked and bowed playfully as he pretended to not hear what she whispered to the lizzard. He couldn't draw any conclusions from that so he just let it go.

He smiled at her.
Yes actually, there's also a cliff not too far away. The view from there is fantastic, but be careful, people are prone to jumping off of it.
He said lightly, being that when he had just arrived four people held hands and jumped off the cliff in a sucidal attempt. They obviously succeeded but it was more than slightly morbid to say the truth.

He grinned, lightening up.
Now seeing that art would be pretty freaking awesome. No need to lie there.
He said with a grin, almost seeming as excited as a child at a candy store.

He laughed at the random jump in subject, as it seemed she had just remembered that he also sketched and shrugged.
Anything I find important. Mainly people though.
He explained, people was what he was best at.

You know, if you want I could take you to the cliff one of these days. It's also quite lovely at sunset. Maybe not as much as the sea in your opinion, but I think it's worth looking at.
He said lightly.

Enelya giggled, a sense of humor, thats always a good sign, she thought. She could tell he was a nice guy, and was interested in talking to him. Maybe they would become friends, who knows.

Enelya smiled radiantly, she was really proud of her work, and liked to show it off, since artistically, she wasn't really good at anything else.

"I actually have some stuff with me at the moment." she reached into her bag, and took out a canvas, that was gently rolled into a small cardboard tube. "It was the sunset from a couple days ago, before I got on the train to come here." She sighed, she didn't miss her village, but she missed the countryside, even though here it was really pretty too.

She looked up at him. "I would love to see them sometime, if your willing to show me."

Enelya gasped, she had never been on a cliff before, but loved to go. Almost repeating her thoughts, "I'd love to see a sunset from the cliff sometime with you. I'll make sure to bring my paints too!" She laughed a little and smiled.

Mikah smiled at her when she giggled. Some people at Starlight were just strange, yet he guessed that was a good thing, it kept things interesting and in an up beat way.

He put his hands in his back pockets as he waited for her to dig out her painting. He was raised around such adn it gave him a false sese of home, something that he found oddly comforting. It wasn't that his home really brought him comfort since his parents had always seen him as an abomination, yet it was the feelining of familiarity. That which told him that he was in a place in which he knew what to do and how to react.
Now capturing a sunset requires skill."
He said honestly, looking over her shoulder to see if he could catch a glimpse of it before she handed it to him, waiting to see if she'd actually trust him with her.

He nodded lightly and put his hand in his messenger bag, withdrawing a leather bound sketchbook which he handed to her.
"See your fill, though I do warn you some of those are quite graphic. That's if you're offended easily."
He commented lightly.

He laughed lightly, "You tell me when, any dawn or any sunset and I'll take you. I'll probably take my sketchbook too. I tend to go there to practice with my violin though. The place is amazing for that and there's no one ever that, plus the beauty of i-"
He cut himself off when he realized he was rambling.

He looked down, almost shyly.
"Sorry."

"Now capturing a sunset requires skill."

She blushed, and quietly muttered a "thank you."

She took his sketchbook and flipped through it taking the time to inspect each drawing carefully. She looked intently, they were beautiful, and very real. She looked at them as if they were pictures, rather than drawings.

"They are beautiful.. Why don't you take a seat?" She said as she looked up at him.

He laughed lightly, "You tell me when, any dawn or any sunset and I'll take you. I'll probably take my sketchbook too. I tend to go there to practice with my violin though. The place is amazing for that and there's no one ever that, plus the beauty of i-"

She laughed a little at his uneasiness. "No, no, finish your sentence. I'm interested." She smiled, and continued, "Why don't we head up there around 7 or so, that's thats when the sun goes down, right? Unless you busy..." She loved people with passion. It's what most of the beauty of this world strived off of.
