Mery leaned her head on his shoulder. "Only a few weeks." She said, delighted at his enthusiasm. "Do you like the name Odette?" She asked.
Nicolas pouted. "Why didn't you tell me soooonerrrr?" he asked, though he was still happy she had told him now. It was better than her having known a month or something before telling him. "And yes, I like that name! It's great. So you know it's a girl?"
Mery shrugged. "I wanted to wait until the perfect moment, but any time with you is perfect." She said. "Yeah, it's a girl. And I was thinking, it's alphabetized to. So our initials will be M, N, O, P." She explained.
Mery giggled. "Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that they're twins." She said, grabbing his arm in case he fainted again. "And I was thinking Peter, because, you know, to alphabetize and everything. Plus I've always liked the Chronicles of Narnia." She explained. "But if you like something different..."
"Twi... ns..." Nicolas's eyes rolled back, but he stopped himself from fainting. Instead, he jumped up and started doing a little happy dance. He was going to be the father of TWINS! YES! AWESOME! "YAAAAAAAYYY!!! TWINS! PETER! ODETTE!!! YAAAAYYY!!!"
Mery smiled so brightly she probably could have light up all of New York. "Yep. Twins!" She said. She was happy as Nick, but a little overwhelmed. After all, SHE was the one who had to give birth.
