"Ever heard someone say, I hate Mondays?" Kengo with the usual exhausted look glanced at his colleague while saying so. It was a lunch break and both didn't have a class later on so Kengo decided to follow Professor Octain which eventually starting into a discussion on random and possibly pointless things to pass the time in general. Looking for a seat to his lunch, Kengo continued "Seriously, although I vaguely remember that a couple of days ago it was Monday, it's Monday again today...I can't help but think that all my years of solitude made me forget how to count days and especially years".

Kengo sighed, unzipping his tracksuit shirt and pulls out a small pre-made bento and gesturing to the seat of the bench next to Kengo who sat without slouching this time, popped open the lid and with chop sticks in his hands had he uttered Itadakimasu in which he dug in, Silently chewing some rice and octopus he then asked after gulping. "Aren't you a magician? Know any spells that can help with that? Octain Sensei?"

Kengo had Japanese some mannerisms but didn't look like it other then his long black hair and serious attitude, he's is just as much of an oddball then the rest of the people of this academy. Not that it's a bad thing

Octain had spent some time with the new teacher Kengo. Though he got rather agitated when he was calling him Senpai. Though he wasn't going to fight a culture that says it.. It was more of a courtesy. He rubbed his eyes for a moment. "Well.. Almost every Monday Kendo. Lots of people say it." He said as he kept walking. Joining in any conversation would be had. Trying to be nice and civil. "Well. I feel the same way sometimes. Passages of time become construed once you enter a different plane of existence. Or a different area as it were. I can understand you feeling lost."

he spoke trying to get a handle on what he was talking about. He also was enjoying his conversation so much he forgot he was supposed to meet his sister for lunch. They needed some time to talk things over. Reconnect. She didn't feel like a sister... More like a friend from his past. he opened up a small lunch box. Seeing a small not from his girlfriend with a kiss on it in red lipstick as he placed it against his mask for a moment. Folding it up and putting it in his pocket. He pulled out a small sandwich and moved his mask to hide his face still from those who would attempt to look or peak at his face as he took a bite. Slowly chewing and swallowing as he spoke after. "Indeed I am a wizard. I COULD find a way to fix that. I would need to study a bit.. Though.." He put his hand into a small backpack he carried with him and pulled out an agenda. Handing it to Kengo. "Kengo, I can understand the way you talk is of your people. Octain is all I ask. We are colleagues as well as friends." He stated. "Though, I cannot begrudge you if you keep calling me sensei was it? Though.. Take this Agenda. Find out what day it is. After each day cross off the day that had just passed before you go to sleep. That shall help you mentally keep track of each day."

He waited for Kengo to grab the agenda before he went back to eating. "Are you enjoying your classes so far? Good kids?"

Kengo continued eating while nodding slowly to what Octain said, it made sense enough for even him to understand so at least it's helpful advise enough to try. Even Kengo himself grew to know what the word kindness meant in the literal form when coming to this place, it was nice to be honest, enough for Kengo to just gaze in a lost way at the Agenda but slowly realised what was going.

Shooting his head down while gulping and taking the Agenda between the chopsticks while his other hand scratched the back of his head by reflex, smiling a little in the process. "Thanks, it'll be helpful" after saying thanks, unzipping his tracksuit and popping the agenda straight into a pocket inside in a swift motion, patting it down until zipping it back up and slowly raising his head again while thinking how to answer Octain's question but finally pulling a toothy grin and giving an old though wise looking stare into the horizon while continuing as floating the chopsticks in mid-air, "Every life is precious I found out when coming over here and I've killed enough to end several nations during the course of my now very dark road...dealing with the several troublesome kids can be daunting but I've dealt and taught worse, trust me!" Laughing in the process until finally continually commuting to the last bits of grub left on the plastic plate.

Covering his mouth he asked, "You-shg can-g ask mehdh annarwything avvoigout my paaqlshst, moofsht peozweple doo annyiwjaaye" ("You can ask me anything about my past, most people do anyway") then finally continuing to eat while fiddling around with the Japanese umbrella near his feet. Never really understood why this thing always was with him to begin with, possibly never will...

Octain just begin eating his lunch. Finishing the sandwich as he began to start on a salad. It was made from all the freshest items from his mountain that his girlfriend had gotten and made for him. Enjoying the taste of it as he sighed lightly. Taking fork loads at time, chewing then going for more. It tasted delicious as always as he looked over at Kengo. His mask partially off his face but he could still see from one portion of his eye but he could still see.

"No need to thank me." He said as he began eating slowly. Enjoying the time he had hanging out with someone else for once that wasn't a student. Someone who he could talk to over school or histories as he nodded his head. "I can understand that. Though I have not lived as long as you. I have done some dark things. Toppled a plot to destroy the world... Not my brightest day." He stated. Rather dismissive of the fact as he could hear the echoes in his head. The food which was once rich with flavors now bitter and tasteless as he stopped for a moment and took another forkful. Reminding himself of who he had to be strong for as he felt the burst of flavor once more.

While Kengo was eating with his mouthful Octain made sure to swallow so he wasn't. He did have some etiquette. Even with some others he knew who were worse. "Up to you. You could do the same save for some details I wish not to divulge. Though I am curious about what you had done before hand. Seems quite interesting that I had never heard of your experiences." He said. Trying to pry as he looked around. Something seemed.. Off like he was being watched by someone.

Gulp, "oh? Even the great Octain had never heard anything about me?" Kengo reminded himself of the seclusion as he plopped the food to one side while holding his chin. Nothing seemed to be too dark but since he didn't really have the same mentality as others, Kengo might hit a soft spot so he'll start out simple instead of bringing an overload of information onto his man.

"Well, apart from having an almost fun time hopping from one woman to another in-between my life of solidarity...It was alot killing to be fairly honest, every event I could remember other then the time I was studding for my teaching degree it was just killing nameless grunts one after the other while practising alchemy in the very little spare time I had...got fairly good at it too if I might add" noticing the rhyme he unintentionally pointed his finger up to signify it was something unique about him, Kengo didn't just practice alchemy but cooking as well while on the run since it was mostly either deserts or jungles he'll be trapped in with the occasional swamp, arctic lands and forests.

Sighing at his achievements Kengo continued a little before picking up his empty container and chucking it into a bin, "I'll be lying if I said even I'm not at all scared of this place, will this place turn into a warzone if I stay long enough?" while turning his back to Octain, Kengo chuckled a little to make light of it all as if it's needed for this situation, "I do know one thing though about the future...".

Turning to Octain wryly smiling as he noticed he said too much, "It'll always be something I can control to some degree and sorry for continuing on more then I should have".

"I know of many powerful beings. Though.. You have not been mentioned in my studies. Nor my history books. All of them relatively flawless." he stated. It wasn't so much of a soft spot but Octain was a man who prided himself on his knowledge. This was something to add to his books. Something he needed to go and rectify. With some simple note jotting and remember which books were which. Though he could jot the notes down in his spell book and the arcane would correct.

Listening to his story he nodded his head. Trying to wrap his head around the idea of hoping from women to women, but he could not even fathom the idea. With his short life span. With what he has done. For him. For his people. Love was eternal. Who ever held his mask. Held his life. He listened while he finished his salad before packing his lunch bag and putting it at his side. "Alchemy is a good art to pursue. Most people do not understand it's intricacies as well as it's draw backs as well. The power that one fragment of magic or alchemy can purpose is limitless." He said nodding his head.

"This place is peaceful. A little too peaceful. I await the day when something happens and I may utilize my skills in combat once more. That day I await for. To allow myself to let loose and not care. This island is a paradise to a point. Many people who came feel the same way as you do. Though you should not fear." He leaned his head back at Kengo's last statement. Octain knew nothing of the future as he sighed. "No one can. Some people can predict the future. Though most... Can alter it. Time is much like a rug. Changes over use and being walked all over. Colors and ideas fade over time. You should be fine. I may look into something to help with that should you require it."

He shook his head as he looked at Kengo then forward. "no need to be sorry. i am sure you are as curious about my past as I was for you. This.. is a real eye opener." He said. Remembering the time he did the senseless killing. Relishing in it. Enjoying it. That was normally never the case...

Kengo shrugged, propping his arms up in an exaggerated gesture while wearing a wild grin in tow. "aye, the future is something people cannot predict precisely..." but stopped, stood straight and stared at Octain instead while saying, "I'm more interested in what will happen to me now that I'm in this mess of a city...granted I don't know what my real strength is like now but my physical ability is what I'll call the best in the land" although he hadn't really noticed it until reaching the Isles, Kengo was actually very prideful of his physical ability and would gladly get envious if there was someone stronger than him here...whoever was though must be stronger then him in near every aspect however, that is just Kengo's hopeless bantering in his mind instead of actually having real evidence to back it up.

"Makes me wonder, who's stronger?" a childish grin gave way from Kengo's usual sleepy expression but this time, the smile was quite tame rather then wild with fantasy from before and with a sigh as well as scratching the back of his head Kengo trot back to his seat. Sitting, "By the by, are you forgetting anything big?" even Kengo must notice the obvious whale in the room by now who's staring at Octain furiously rather then caring, even made Kengo gulp in amusement.

"Seems someone's angry, kekeke..."
