"Hmm? Ah, yes, right." Nevin chuckled sheepishly. He was still a little thrown off at times by how seamlessly the Island had incorporated technology - there was still a latent expectation in the back of his mind that 'magic' meant 'no-tech'. But then again, that girl he'd met at the community center once had been talking about how she wanted to run a 'tube' channel, so he shouldn't be too surprised. He patted around in his bag for a moment before pulling out a notepad and pen, and tore a page from the pad. "Here we go." The alchemist sketched out the address and name for his store, along with a phone number to reach him at, and handed it over to the centauroid. "Best place to reach me is at my shop, so there we are. I spend what is probably an unhealthy amount of time there, since I'm still not too used to the island." He gave a short laugh before focusing on Elisa.

He had to concur with Henghai. "I... it's not likely, no. While I'd have to actually test it to be sure, this plant likely works by irritating and hurting nerve receptors in the skin, via an oil or something like that, which the plant produces. Treating burns is far different from trying to heal damaged nerve endings - there, the matter is more along the lines of regrowing or restoring damaged tissue." He automatically started to reach up to rub his chin in thought, but managed to catch himself. Instead, he slipped his gloves off, and pulled out a bottle of water after tucking the gloves away in an outside pocket of his bag. The alchemist took a long drink before continuing. "Good Henghai is right. If something can be created to help with the injuries caused by the plant itself, it might be possible to work that into a kind of generalized anesthetic? Or something along those lines." An anesthetic, or possibly something like an anti-histamine? Nevin's thoughts sidetracked onto that, considering things that might be combined with the plant itself to serve as a curative. It took a few moments before he shook his head sharply, his gaze snapping back into focus.
