"Hurricane Daniel Task Force" Plotter

Due to the many injuries, deaths and disappearances that have occurred as a result of the unexpected onslaught of Hurricane Daniel, Louise, the resident doctor for Starlight Academy, has taken up the responsibility of creating a task force of students, available teachers, and willing civilians that are up to the task of helping take care of the survivors.

What she's looking for are attentive, caring and focused individuals who can volunteer their time and energy to the injured and the weak in an effort to keep the death toll from reaching unprecedented heights.

Healing factors are not a requirement but they are a plus, as are empathic, psychic or mind reading abilities. Although attending to the sick and injured are going to be the main priorities of the task force, there is another issue at hand. The progressively ill are beginning to act strangely; they have been witnessed trying to bite volunteers and are showing signs of rapidly progressing decomposure.

The task force is unsure what's causing it, but they feel as though it might have something to do with the water from the storm in select areas. As of now, a cure has not been found but they are currently fighting to prevent the symptoms from spreading to healthier hosts and quarantines are beginning to take effect.

Depending on how many sign up, we will be splitting threads from pairs, trios to quartets, all in all, no one will sign up for this plot without someone to interact with. The pairings will be random, so if you want a specific partner, let me know and I'll pair them with you right off the bat. Those interested in prevention will be healing and comforting those injured during the storm, as well as, finding missing peoples. These will be more along the lines of bonding threads, talking, getting to know other characters, things like that, but I do have some surprises planned for those who sign up. As for quarantine, characters will be in charge of keeping the infected from escaping the barricades that have been placed and ensure that their disease does not spread to the other survivors.

Quarantine has a higher risk for infection than that of prevention or cure, so keep that in mind when you're writing up replies.

Cure is essentially what it means, this is the only group that will have two pairs, one with Louise and another character, and another with two characters. Basically, Louise will work with someone's character to develop the cure for whatever is causing this sudden outbreak while the duo ventures out to gather information on the infected areas and determine which places are safe and which are biohazard locations. Don't worry if your character gets infected in either group, I have an idea on how we can cure everyone so you don't need to worry about being a zambie forever. Also, no one is supposed to die during this plot, aside from NPCs/Zambies, so try not to get yourself killed.

Also, don't worry about not having any ideas, if it looks like things are beginning to slow down I'll pop in and rustle your jimmies a little to get things going again.

I think putting her with the preventative groups might help more since she can block out people's pain and can sense when they need assistance even if they aren't speaking. Is that alright, Kyros?

I thought that putting Elisha into cure would be good for him since he wouldn't have to rely too heavily on just his powers and would be able to work closely with one person to get something done instead of having to deal with multiple people at once. It hasn't been decided what he'll be doing in cure, but when I randomize it you'll know what to expect.

As for Zach and Damian, I'm assuming you'd like them to be in Quarantine? But I'm gonna touch base with you before I put them anywhere just in case, since you weren't specific in your post.

Also, put Luci into cure as per request and in the end if we don't have enough I'll hit you up for Lilly!

So, for now, if you don't mind, Kuro, I'm just going to use one of your characters so that we can give other members a chance to sign up for the groups. If, when we're ready to start, we don't have enough members in the groups we can use more of your characters, like with Noface and Lilly, but for now I think that just one would be satisfactory.

Since we don't have anyone in quarantine yet would you like one of the boys there or would you prefer to put Nakata in cure.
