"I know it's not true...but my dad would never listen to reason. It was always "He was right i was wrong" with him. And I was afraid to talk back to him. Ember watched as a Atalia rose and began floating, she could tell she was angry. She didn't know what to say, all she did was just sit there, thinking. She could feel tears rising up again and this time, she let them fall. Ember tired her entire life not to cry, her dad would always say it was a sign of weakness and that she never wanted to be weak. Not she didn't care. She knew that it wasa sign that someone had feelings, not weakness. She Ember hugged her knees and hid her face inside them, crying.

Ember listened to Atalia as shetold her to just keep crying because it was alright to cry. She smiled when Atalia sat next to her and started rubbing her shoulders. "Thanks." Ember said, wiping away the extra tears in her eyes. "Usually I don't cry like this, actualy I've never cried like this..."

Atalia frowned, "I understand, he should have let you cry. It's unhealthy to hold in emotions... they cause serious problems if they aren't let out. I know this firsthand." She curled her lips lightly, in attempt to smile.

"What do you mean?" Ember asked. She had a feeling she knew, but she wanted to make sure and hear it form someone who knew firsthand. Ember smiled as Atalia smiled, in attempt to make her feel better and it was working...sort of. But at least some of it was working, which was better than nothing. "Thanks, Atalia. Really."

"What do you mean?"

Atalia's once hard, forrowing brow softened, and gave her a light smile.

"If one's emotions aren't let out, they build upon eachother, and the more they build, the more intense they are... Leading to unwanted... Break downs..." Her thoughts left Ember's problems and drifted to Elatrion's. She had remembered many break downs of her sister, but still, she smiled gently, in understanding and comfort.

Ember nodded her head signaling that she understood. "That's what i thought you meant...you seem to know a lot about it..." Ember's mind drifted off to a white cloud. She look from Atalia to the hallways, to the ceiling and back to Atalia.

Atalia snorted, "Yeah, lets just say having no parental figures can really take a tole on one's self esteem, especially when..." Her voice trailed off... she wanted to give Elatrion a hug, "You can't figure out your powers, and your sister can.. Oh Ela.."

Ember didn't know what to say. She could see that she had reached a sensetive subject with Atalia. "I-I don't know what to say..." She trailed off, thinking of something nice to do. She notcied how she mentioned Elatrion, so she guessed she wanted to see her. Slowly, Ember leaned in and gave Atalia a soft hug, hoping it would comfort her somehow,

Atalia returned Ember's soft embrace and tried to manage a small smile. "Sorry, I worry about Ela so much... I'm okay, just sometimes I fear that Elatrion's not. I'm fine, just fine." She let go of Ember after giving her a small squeeze. "Gosh, today has been rather emotional, hasn't it?" She let out a small chuckle and looked up, rubbing her shoulders.
