Hope-ing to keep at it!

I am sort of out of my break but going through a major slump! If anyone has any tips on getting into character please tell me - I want to keep writing but also my brain refuses to cooperate...

In the case that I disappear or otherwise become unable to continue being a member of the site, I want it to be known that I give full control of Yuki Hayashi and other characters over to ArcanaFate or anyone else who would like to play them or reference them in canon! This is just a security measure though. I plan to continue being a member of the site for a long time and don't plan on disappearing in any way, shape or form!

Hey Hope,

I am sort of the same right now. I would say, don't force things, and find something you enjoy doing with your character.

If you enjoy silly fluffy threads/situations, go for it. Not everything needs to be plot-related. RP is about enjoying yourself, and there are times that doing everything but is the best course of action.

Right now, I am prioritizing my main plots but I fully intend to do something lighthearted that requires nothing more than me having fun, and probably is not plot-related.

Second what Zora said. As fun as plots can be, sometimes you and your characters are just best living. You gotta have those fun things mixed in with the drama and work. Do what's best for you, and the same will follow for your characters!

Hey all. With everything going on in my personal life, I can't really bring myself to play on the site and I think this will be continuing for some time. For how long, I'm not sure. For now though, what I do know is that role-playing is not something bringing me joy at the moment, so I'm going to step away from it for a while.

I really hope that all goes well! I may see you people again, I may not. Who knows? I look forward to seeing how all the changes finalise! Dare I say I'm almost anxious to see them? I'll definitely check out the new site once my personal issues have been sorted! See you guys whenever! :D

RE my characters:
- Yuki Hayashi still lives on the islands happily with Mahalia and Ace - his relationship with Gabe is up for Fate to decide for the future of the islands
- Hikaru Suzuki has lost his powers completely and has finally been able to return to Japan for good.
- Conrad still lives with Jack, but hops around dimensions using Home on rare occasions to see other universes. Jack may or may not join him on occasion too...
