<div align=center>Wind howled through the corridors, and rain hammered down on every available surface, causing a cacophony of sound to echo through the rooms and hallways, but it was the thunder that was the worst thing, and the lightning that tore ragged patters through the sky, illuminating the horizon and lighting the rooms that hadn't yet drawn the drapes with an electric blue colour, Bill squealed, half tripping over his feet in an effort to break into a light run. He hated storms, and this was the worst storm he'd ever seen by far, the way wind had been pounding against the glass of his window made him take fright that it might smash, he'd pulled the drapes in an effort to comfort himself, but it hadn't worked.
The boy had been running for what felt like a lifetime, the corridors were dark and he was getting confused, perhaps this hadn't been such a good idea after all, he'd rather not be lost in the school at night, it was daunting to look at during the day, at night it reminded him of something from an old fashioned horror movie. His feet were cold and he was worn out, he didn't know how late it was, but it was quiet around the school, he'd presumed everyone had taken refuge in their rooms, no point being outside while this was going on. Bill came to a stop outside a door, he caught his breath against the wall for a moment or two, before scrabbling frantically at the door, and whimpering, "Gabe!" His voice was high pitched, desperate, "please let me in!"</div>
