Lions looked a little odd to her, she supposed that the big bushy mane threw her off. She had always wondered what their manes would feel like. Probably course and not that nice to touch. Squeezing back, she leapt forward, tugging him along. Zoooo. Maybe they even had a little petting zoo area. That would be fun, to pet the animals. "Do you think they'll have a little petting zoo?" Pulling the door open, she made it into the hall before realising that she didn't actually know where the zoo was.

"Ah ... You know where the zoo is, right? I've never been there before. I don't think I've ever even seen it before!" She hadn't ever had much time to think about day trips. This was so exciting. "And... You're sure this is a date? Like a date date? "

<div align=center>Hadrian supposed they would, a lot of zoos had sections with animals like pigs and goats and little furry bunnies you could stroke. He liked rabbits, he thought it was funny to watch them hop around, they had cute little twitchy noses that made him laugh. "I hope so, I like rabbits." He laughed softly, and rubbed the back of his neck. Hadrian thought he'd seen the zoo before, he didn't know how big it was, but he was sure it was there. He nodded, confirming that he did indeed know where the zoo was. Or even if he didn't they would wander around until they ended up finding it.

You're sure this is a date? Hadrian nodded, "yeah, it's a date date." He shrugged, "you're cute, I like you," a small smile crossed his face, he lifted a hand and ruffled her hair affectionately. Perhaps he'd meant to miss his history exam after all, his mind flashed back to the book Ania had said she had been reading when they had met in the library. Strange how things happen. Hadrian shook his head a little, thoughts like that didn't often cross his head. "Therefore why shouldn't it be a date date?" He asked with a smile.</div>

Rabbits were soft and nice to pet. Hadrian almost reminded her of a rabbit, in an odd way. She liked rabbits well enough, but they weren't terribly exciting. Did rabbits even make noise? A date date though. She hadn't ever been on a real date before. Touching her cheek in wonder and honour, she blinked rather slowly at first. "You like me." She knew she was likeable enough in her own way, but she hadn't thought anyone would think she's cute and likeable. "I like you too! You're ... wonderful. And cute, very cute." A satisfied expression settled on her features as this sunk in.

Valentines day was coming up pretty soon, wasn't it? She would feel obligated to do something for him, now. At least she would be able to get a head start on thinking about her project. Food would be easiest, but so overdone. "Hey. What's your favourite flavouring? Like chocolate or vanilla." Couldn't hurt to ask, anyway. Was it even normal to think about him for valentines day? It wasn't even past their first date, and she was already thinking in future terms. At least she hadn't named the children yet.

<div align=center>The boy tittered very softly and might have blushed just a little bit, it was strange for a girl to make him react like that, he generally didn't get nervous around girls, he was experienced, but apparently all that experience when out the window when he came across a girl that he actually liked rather than one he just wanted to sleep with. That thought sounded so mean to all the other girls he'd met in his head, but Hadrian couldn't help his personality. Besides, he hadn't even touched another girl for the best of four months. He hadn't wanted to. "Cute?" He asked, "thank you."

Hadrian considered the question for a moment, "chocolate," he said after a moment, "oh, I like strawberry things too, though." Though that mostly went for yogurt and ice cream. "What about yours?" He asked, he remembered Ania saying that she liked to bake, and he also remembered that she liked candy. He supposed most people liked candy though, maybe she had a love for it that exceeded everyone else's. She's sweet enough. He laughed to himself, and ran a hand through his hair. Valentines day has crossed his mind, too, though only briefly, he'd more than likely end up doing something nice for her, though what that thing might be, he really didn't know.</div>

Chocolate was perhaps the most common favourite, but it was unfortunate that vanilla never got too much love. Strawberry? I wouldn't have taken you for a strawberry person. I like chocolate, too. But I bet if you came in a flavour, you'd taste better." She thought that Hadrian flavour cakes might taste interesting. Though, she wouldn't want to sell them. No one else needed to taste him, anyway. Coughing lightly to distract herself from the turn her thoughts began to take, Ania focused on the goal at hand.

"Are we there yettt? I want to see the penguins." After a moments pause, she added, "And the bears, too." Didn't they sell a bunch of sweets at those events? She decided that she wanted to load herself up with sugar as soon as possible. "Also get sweets. I like sweet things."

<div align=center>"If I came in a flavour?" Hadrian laughed, he wondered what he'd taste like, bitter he would have expected. No one would want to eat Hadrian flavoured candy, "really? I bet you'd be nicer." He remembered her saying a little while ago, or at least he thought she had, that she wasn't a people person. She was nice enough though, he would have taken her for good at being around people. Hadrian wasn't all that good, he never knew what to say to people, he struggled to keep conversations up most of the time. He struggled to even do that with his friends. Most of them were just smoking and gossip buddies though. He hadn't told Ania he smoked. That put a lot of people off, he found.

Hadie laughed, "we can drive, if you want." He offered, he'd parked his car somewhere near the school, he always did. "It'd be a lot quicker?" Hadrian didn't take public transport, buses were always too crowded and there was never anywhere to sit. Crowds didn't so much scare Hadrian, they just made him feel a little bit uncomfortable, claustrophobic was probably the right word to use. "I will buy you a mountain of sweets, or a castle." He chirped, "a castle for a princess."</div>

"No. You would taste better." She hadn't tasted herself before, but she imagined that she didn't taste too good. He, however, would likely taste sweeter, and therefore better. She would much prefer a Hadrian flavoured treat than one that tasted like herself. He seemed sweet enough, so it was entirely plausible that his candy would taste good.

Driving would be a whole lot nicer than taking the bus or walking. Did he have a car? Probably, since he offered. He was rich, too, wasn't he? No doubt he had a nice car. Perking up at the mention of a mountain of sweets, she shook her head at the castle. "No, no. I don't have any need for a castle. A mountain of sweets would do just fine." She wouldn't be much of a princess anyway, odd and awkward. He looked princely, though, and she looked at him with the sudden realisation that he was really attractive. Of course, she had noticed his features fleetingly, but she hadn't really spent too much time thinking about it. Shaking herself mentally, she shoved that thought right back down where it came from. She couldn't let herself get attached so easily, not after last time. "Yes, driving would be nicer than the bus. And faster, too. Let's gooo." Skipping a few steps forward, she tugged a bit on his hand. "Thank you for taking me!"

<div align=center>The image of Ania perched upon a mountain of sweets made him laugh softly. Hadrian had absolutely no idea what was going on in her head, he liked her a lot though, and the thought of that made him blush just a little, though you probably wouldn't have been able to tell. Hadrian didn't like people in general. It was confusing and strange when someone came along that he began to get steadily attached to, he supposed it was nice, too, in some way. He shook his head and pushed his thoughts away, she was probably just being nice. He didn't even know if she liked boys.

Going by car sounded like a good idea. His car was warmer than the bus, and cleaner too. If there was one thing Hadrian really didn't like, it was copious amounts of dirt, and public buses were full of germs. It didn't take very long for the pair to make their way down the hallway and away from the dorms. Hadrian's car was parked where he'd said it would be, it was expensive looking with a dark, black paint. It gave the impression that he loved it a lot, it was well looked after to say the least. He drew a set of keys from his pocket, and unlocked the door. "Alright. Let's go."</div>

It would be a lie if she said she wasn't impressed by his car. It was a sleek little thing, with a dark exterior. It definitely had a commanding presence, and looked very well cared for. Maybe he was one of those people that liked spending time with cars over people. Looking uncertain for a moment, she almost didn't want to touch it, just in case she ruined it in some way. Dancing in place for a moment, she finally pushed down her worries and opened the door, sliding herself into place. Sitting stiffly, her breaths were shallow as she tried not to touch anything. It just looked so new, she was terrified to cause any type of damage.

Well, the sooner they got to the zoo the better. Relaxing a bit, she evened out her breath so she wouldn't hyperventilate so fast. "It won't be so easy to smuggle home a penguin in such a clean car." Could penguins even live in non-arctic conditions? Maybe if she stocked a bathtub with lots of ice and air conditioning. She could create her own little penguin ecosystem in the bathroom. Thinking about penguin ecosystems gave her a sufficient distraction to not think about time, and their destination soon pulled into view. "Zooooo. I hope it's not too expensive to get in or do things."
