They entered the dorm, his golden eyes zipping about, curious about everything. "It's nice," he gives his sister his usual calm smile, "welcome home I guess." He chuckled a little as he started to walk around the dorm. He'd been curious about everything on the island, he wanted to see and know everything about it, down to the smallest detail.

"After were done we should fly into the city," he wrapped an arm around her shoulders in a hug, "I have a bit of money left after picking up our new clothes, thought I'd buy you dinner." Picking up the tv remote, he started to flip through the channels, he'd heard of tvs before coming.

"Did you sign up for any classes besides the basic ones?" he'd avoided any classes dealing with military stuff, he'd had his fill of that stuff. "I'm still looking at a few dealing with the different magical beings." @Pallas

Johanna entered her new dorm, her eyes scrutinizing every detail of their new living space. Her hands behind her back as her heels clacked against the ground in an orderly military fashion. She inspects the room with a judging gaze, unimpressed by the architecture and decor but these quarters will do.

"This hardly compares to our previous living conditions but... it will do. Mind you... this is not our home. These are but temporary quarters." remarked Johanna as she paced her way to the middle of the room and stared out through the sliding glass door, looking to sky peeking through. She squints her eyes, then turns her head to Hadrian as he wrapped an arm around her. She couldn't help but flutter in her heart for moment, but this feeling passed she wraps an arm around his waist and rests her head on his chest.

"Dinner with you sounds wonderful however. I am curious of the cuisine of these mortals that we are charged to protect." stated Johanna, looking up him with a loving smile on her face. Johanna has lost most since the attack but... of all the loss and grief she had to endure... she is glad that her brother was not among the causalities of that bitter day.

"That I have. For elective classes I have chosen a combat class and class dealing with nature of theology and the divine. These classes seem to be the most relevant when to our previous training regime. Still, considering our present conditions understanding the mythical creatures of this place is a wise assessment." nodded Johanna approvingly. If they were to be living here, it would be wise to the inhabitants and possible dangers they may encounter. There was various species living on this island in particular... some of them demons. Realizing that she was holding onto her brother long enough, Johanna then releases herself from her brother's hug and stands in front of him. She still maintaining her smile to him, a smile that few others would rarely witness.

"Now then... you mentioned we should fly around to... scout the nearby city yes? I suppose some recon is in order to familiarize ourselves in this exotic location."

He nodded, "you'll be get an apartment soon enough if you want." He gave her a small playful smile, "you gonna let me live you? Or gonna leave me here in the dorms?" Hadrian knew she'd let him move with her, probably insist on it, but he still liked teasing her.

"Well not just mortal food," he chuckled and kissed the top of her head, "there's fae, dragons, all kinda of immortals here, foods from other realms." He had a more casual and almost shy air about him than her, the military upbringing hadn't quite stuck with him like it did with her, "its...seems like an amazing place."

A small sigh escaped him, "I didn't mean recon," he rubbed the back of his neck, "just....wanted to explore the city a bit with you, since we're living here now." Eventually they might be able to contact some archangels and get transferred to another angelic settlement, he wasn't sure he wanted that. "Shouldn't we take advantage of a place like this? See and explore some things we've never seen before?"

Johanna just blinked, her brain taking a moment to process what she had just heard. Clearly her brother misunderstood in that that she was planning to move to some apartment. Maybe down the line after she has steady income but... that wasn't what she meant when she said temporary quarters.

"You... misunderstand. I mean that this place... this room. This not home. Our home is razed to the earth. And I would never abandon you to live by yourself. You and me... we are all that we have left. Even if I did have my own apartment I will ensure that you would come live with me." sighed Johanna. She then felt a warm kiss on her forehead, compelling her smile a little at her brother's tenderness. She had step back and recompose herself, as gives her reply.

"Ahem... well... brother. We must not forget our place. Are still angels, instruments of God's will. So long as we are blessed with life we must ensure that we remain valiant against the forces that goes against the divine order of Heaven. We must never forgot our purpose." proclaimed Johanna, her speech as if though it was rehearsed.

He sighed a little and sat on his bed, resting his cheek on his hand and looking up at her, "yeah...well...we can still enjoy the island at least." The young angel was curious about everything, he wanted to see and learn, "not every aspect of our life has to be the mission." The young angel's usual smile faded, as they discussed.

"I mean...we have school now," he rubbed the temples of his head, "maybe we can....at least find a few friends." He didn't want to be a soldier, a fighter, he just wanted to be a kid, have friends, try dating, he wanted his own life. "That isn't that much to ask is it?" leaning back he laid on the bed.

Closing his eyes he took a breath, "I met a few other students, while you filling out paper in the office." He smiled a bit, "they seemed nice....," his cheeks flushed a little, "one of the girls even called me cute." Some girl's at home had probably found him attractive, but they never acted on it, perhaps intimidated by his parents.

"Of course... we can find joy and happiness in preforming how duties here on Earth. Even if we are far from heaven, our mission must take priority above all else." spoke Johanna as she stood at attention, unintentionally emulating the posture of her parents as they gave their speeches. After speaking up, Johanna reminded silent, stating as if statue as tries to think of how follow up their conversation but words escaped her.

After a few moments... she just sighed and and grimaced a little. She knew her brother as sweet and tender soul but... some part knew that the life as warrior of God didn't always suit her brother well. As she looked to him, she thought of all times he had encouraged and supported her... perhaps... perhaps its time she return the favor.

"But... your right. We are attending a school now... so... the mission parameters have changed somewhat. Making friends is a good step in making new allies and valuable connections so... as long as you make friendships with people in good standing I find this an acceptable proposition." Johanna then walks forward and politely seats herself next to her brother as he lays out on his bed and continued her lecture "I however advice taking on the utmost caution when dealing with these people. Not all are godly sorts and my attempt to drag you down the dark paths of lies and ruin. I can... I can only do so much to protect you from vile influence of the sinners and demons that... infest this island. So... promise that you take these words to heart? You mean too much to me and I can't afford to lose you. I love you... I love you more than you can possibly imagine."

Johanna reaches out to rest her hand on her brother's chest but stops midway, instead redirecting her hand to lightly pull on her brother's shoulder instead.

"Ahem... so... you mentioned us getting dinner? Its mighty chivalrous of you pay for my meal. You could almost call it a date." mused Johanna, half in jest. "Perhaps we should go see this city you spoke. Scout out for the most appealing dining experience before committing ourselves to the best restaurant to share dinner with each other."

The young angel sighed a bit, "thank you, people here, they...they don't see us as military kids." He smiled a tiny bit, "I was....just one of them. They talked to me, it was nice Johan." It'd been something he hadn't experienced in a long time, "maybe it'll keep being like that."

"I love you too," sitting up he hugged her, and gently leaned his forehead against hers, "you're all I have too, I promise I'll be careful." He'd try to anyways, he was incredibly curious, so who knows what he would find, "I'll always be here for you, no ones ever going to pull me away from you."

He felt his face flush briefly at her joking about it being a date, "I suppose it could be," he chuckled a little. "Yeah, all the cultures here, we'll have a lot to chose from," he gave her a small cute smile, "yes, my treat, my thank you for putting up with me." He wanted her to be happy, to not always be fighting or planning to fight, so he'd do his best to make sure she kept smiling.

"Perhaps things will continue... you are pure innocent soul. You have... a way of bringing in people even if you don't see it. Just pick your friends carefully. There will be forces that will take advantage of your tenderness to turn you to sin. But I feel I have made my point on the matter clear."

As Hadrian hugged her she hugged her brother in turn. She felt... comfortable and safe in his arms. To hear his words made her feel reassured in herself and her brother. They were siblings... and though part of her yearned for little more she was felt that what they had would be enough. With demons, undead and other abominations lurking about, she knew that it was her duty to preserve her brother's innocence and purity... at whatever costs.

"Mhhmmm... perhaps it I who should be thanking you for for always being there when I needed it most... such as you are now..." after she holds him for a little longer, Johanna pushes herself gently off her brother and stood in front of him, giving an earnest smile.

"Now then... perhaps we should be off to begin our recon... or survey or... err... exploration of the city? To find a place for dinner mean. Seeing that we will be here for some time, we will have ample opportunity to sample the various ethnic foods this city has to offer."

Hadrian had always been there for her, even as she succeeded where he failed. "You know I'll always be here for you," he smiled, "a lot has changed...but that's something that never will." The young angel didn't want to lose her, she was basically everything to him.

He grinned happily and hopped up from his bed, "it'll be fun, me and you having dinner." Stepping over to her, he sprouted his wings and wrapped one around her shoulders, "thank you." Quickly kissed her cheek, he zipped up his coat, "maybe we can try some movies when we get home."

"Just....," he grin became a concerned smile, "keep smiling." He sighed a bit, "I want you to be happy, you deserve to be happy." They'd been through a lot, and he wanted life to be easier on her now.

"Of course... much has changed." mutter Johanna quietly, closing her eyes and nodding as she continues to maintain her smile to her brother.

She was temporary lost in thought and memory as her brother wrapped a wing around her and gave her peck on her cheek. Her golden eyes now open wide, her pale cheeks turn a little pink as she looks to him surprised. For moment, she thought of her brother's lips on her own but quickly repressed those lecherous incestuous thoughts some back corner of her mind for such thoughts were improper of pious, virgin angels such as herself.

"A-ah... yes. I will find my happiness in doing my tasks as heaven ordains but... for you... I will keep smiling." stated a now recomposed Johanna, speaking formally but remembered to give her brother small smile.

"As for entertainment... well... perhaps. We can decide which movie during dinner I suppose" stated Johanna, stepping back and walking to the door, exposing her own wings stands in front of the door ready to leave.
