Lauren sighed, “You don’t understand the things they say to me. The things they do….” Lauren stopped. Eyes were watery. They didn’t know what it was like for her, it was so hard to live with people that hated you for being different.

"Yeah sorry but I dont understand I never had parents to ridicule me for being different. But I sure would have been a lot heppier with parents that hated me than being alone fending for myself since I was a child or having a mom that did something so dispicable that you cant even talk about it..." she said and stood up. Even thinking about her mother made her want to vomit. Her eyes didnt fill with water though. She was beyond the sadness stage and had moved onto hatred.

“would you still want to have parents that hurt you?” Lauren asked, She tried to control herself from blowing up. They hurt me and no one is on my side for what they did. Lauren thought, if they only really knew.

Lirit spun around so quickly that her hair whipped her in the face. "Your parents hurt you? They HURT YOU?!" she said that sent her over the edge. "Stop feeling sorry for yourself your still alive and healthy arent you?! Thats a whole lot better than some people have it!!" she was screaming at this point. "And maybe people dont understand you because you have it so good that they dont understand how you can be this down about it! You have your health a roof over head and school full of people who understand you!! And just becuase you dont have your "Nice things" doenst mean you should be so upset about being here!! We're not taking your parents side we dont even know them so stop feeling sorry for yourself about it!!!" she screamed. "At least your alive..." she said almost a whisper "at least your mom didnt kill you..." she said in a whisper this time. She turned around and walked a ways away into some trees before falling to the ground and vomiting. Thinking about everything in her past had crossed the line and made her sick. She would consider going back if her stomach ever stopped spinning.

Lauren was so angry at this point. “Stay in your own mind! You don’t even know anything so don’t judge!” Lauren yelled back. She took off her coat, and pointed at her bruised arm. “I rather have nothing then be…..hurt like this.” Lauren turned her back to the girl. “I’m so healthy that I’m covered with bruises!”

Lirit;s stomach healed rather quickly and she got up and headed towards the school. Before she headed on she stopped near Lauren and said " Bruises are nothing compared to a seivered head. Thats what my brother went through....thats what my mother did." she said and walked off not waiting for a reply...not wanting one. I hate rich kids... she thought to herself as she marched towards the school.

“If you only knew.” Lauren said. There was way more to the story but Lauren wasn’t going to share parent stories with her. Lauren’s really life would remain a secret, she also had a brother once and a sister but that was a long time ago. They were gone....

Suddenly a voice behind Lauren.
"I understand, having also come from a large family of rich aristocratic parents, parents who do wrong in every action they attempt, even if they say it's for your own good. They're gone, the both of them...gone for good."
Judas landed next to Lauren, his eyes glimmering.
"I don't miss them at all, not a fiber of my body misses them. That's why I've come here, to get away from their graves. This academy is the perfect place for a new start."
He gave a charming grin.
"My name is Judas Anderson, miss. Pleased to meet you."

Lauren turned around to the voice, “I’m Lauren Devyn. Why does everyone have to hate me for not liking my horrible parents? They don’t know what it’s like to be trapped.“ Lauren said hating the fact she was talking about them. Lauren bit her lip, she knew she was saying to much about the family secret. That one key word could have gave it away. ’Trapped’ meant so more to her.
