Erione had struggled a little bit with the sweater as his arms got stuck and he had to wiggle around to get them through the sleeves but after that mildly comedic show he had the nice warm garment on.

"I really like them. I think I'll put the box in my room to hold...mmm not sure yet but i'll think of something," he pondered as he pulled the sweater around him. He wasn't cold really, but it was nice and cozy and that was kind of more important to him anyway.

"Could you thank your follower and tell him his work is fantastic for me?" Erione added after listening to her talk about his work. He wasn't disappointed in the least that she hadn't made it herself. It was still a very thoughtful and amazing gift.

His happy appraisal of the carved box was only set aside when Bel finally saw what Erione's gift was. He started giggling a little at her outburst as she slipped into more of an accent. He figured maybe she was one of those people that did that when extra excited.

There was an instant happy ping in his head as he registered the amount of appreciation she had for the medallion and his giggly grin grew about as wide as he could make it. If it hadn't been for the pesky burdens of gravity he would have floated away in happiness.

"Oh, yeah I did. That's what I do- being a god of glass and sculpting art from it is a huge part of what make me... well, me," he answered rapidly and excitedly as he was feeling the direct joy given to him whenever someone appreciated a piece of glass. With Bel loving the gift so much he was over the moon. To sort of accompany what he was saying he formed a small marble sized ball of orange glass and rolled it in his hand, bending and shaping it randomly for a bit.

Bel noticed the blissful smile on Erione's face. It was one that was also familiar to her. She often felt it when someone remembered, prayed to or mentioned Beltane kindly. It was a nice, amazing feeling.

"I was wondering," she said as she watched him roll the glass between his fingers like it was putty or clay, "If you might be willing to make two more like this or similar?" she asked curiously. "My followers have a compound where they ... " she hated to say worship because the idea embarrassed her for some reason. She knew she was a goddess incarnate, but she was still young, still learning, and the idea, even ten years later, seemed at times weird, "venerate Beltane," she explained.

"And I'm sure they'd love and admire these as much as I do," she said as she traced a finger along the tree branches.

It wouldn't have seemed like it was possible but Erione's eyes seemed to light up even more as she asked him about making more. "Oh, sure. I can certainly make more glass gifts for you. Like this one or whatever you want them to look like," he happily exclaimed as he looked her in the eyes. To be honest, the single best gift Erione could get for the holidays was more appreciation for his work. Asking him to make more glass was a gift in and of itself.

He did notice her hesitation at triying to avoid saying the word 'worship'. He covered his mouth so his giggle would be a tiny bit less obvious. "You mean where they celebrate you. It sounds so weird and awkward doesn't it? Like why should we be so important to them right?" He asked in a friendly and knowing tone. He had 11ish years of being a god of his own domain, and a massive addition of experience and knowledge from his parents now. Being worshiped was natural to him but he remembered when he was just starting out.

Erione placed a hand on Bel's shoulder and smiled. "I can tell you it won't feel so weird forever. They celebrate not because we are that special or better than them. They do it because it means something for them. It gives them hope and togetherness and the feeling that there is someone out there listening," he relayed in a surprisingly calm and authoritative version of his normal voice. The tone he used when comforting one of his own worshipers if they needed it.

And then he showed Bel what he had made from the small ball of glass. In his hand was now a tiny pin in the shape of a bonfire, which he offered to her.

"As long as they know the warning I give to everyone about my gifts.." he started to trail off before he started a bit. He'd forgotten something. "Oh, yeah I should mention that people can pray directly to me now with one of my glass gifts. If they use my name."

Bel held Erione's warm and friendly gaze and smiled very gratefully. "The tree of life like the one you made me would look beautiful in the space, and perhaps, the second one could be something related to Beltane?" she suggested hopefully.

"Yes, that's it, "celebrate"... I think I prefer that over worship," she said, agreeing completely with Erione. She did find it odd still at times. Even though Bel was becoming a lot more gracious as she grew older, and as they moved away from Samhain and towards Imbolc and then Beltane, and a lot more hopeful as well as patient and kind, she still found herself lacking somewhat in the confidence, especially now, a month or so after Samhain. It was always an emotional roller coaster of sorts for her at this time of year, and thus was grateful for Erione's comforting advice.

'Thank you. I appreciate the reminder," she said with an honest smile. "I just find that now, being away from everything... and not having followers and celebrants everywhere, puts it kind of into perspective. That in the grand scheme of things, I am not that important, not really, not when there are literally gods everywhere," she confessed. Coming to Manta Carlos had been a big eye opener for Bel, and a lot of her initial arrogance had faded away, and she was becoming a lot more humble.

"Oh, of course," she said with a nod, "Why don't you place your name at the bottom somewhere when you have finished? I don't mind my followers invoking your name in my shrine," she told him. Bel was not insecure in that. She did have the memories of other "Bels" and of the goddess herself, and sharing herself and her temple with another god did not worry her at all. Her followers were faithful to her, and anything brought in would be seen as Bel giving her blessing for it to be venerated or accepted by her followers.

"Sure, if you can describe or show me what you want I can make pretty much any shape for you. I'm not very familiar with your symbols unless I do research- Like I did for the Tree of Life," he admitted as he sat there talking shop with another god. Something he was completely comfortable with really.

Erione wasn't sure how much wisdom he really had to impart, since Bel's godhood and worship base was very likely quite different than how the gods of his own world worked. But the basics were similar. Worship begets divinity and the divine in return watch over their worshipers in whatever fashion is appropriate for them. "Of course you're important though. Every single person is important regardless of how many others there are. I can prove it too. I'm sure you saw how happy you made me today and you're just one person. But that's all it takes," he explained as he smiled back at her and pulled the sweater around him again to show it off.

Then Eri added in a bit of a joke too as he grinned, "Besides, how many people are getting custom glass decorations made specifically for them by a god this holiday? Sounds like something only an important person would get."

Erione was a little surprised she was so open to having him be recognized by her worshipers in her shrine. Sure he had no problem with, and was even quite used to having, worshipers follow multiple gods or goddesses. He didn't want to take anything away from her. But she had said she was ok with it so he nodded. "I will treat any worship from your followers with as much respect as I treat any of my own."

"I can most certainly do that," Bel said while thinking of a few designs they could look at. She had a few pictures, books as well as tapestries and statues, images of Beltane with her. Some were put away in a chest, similar to the one she gave Erione, just bigger and deeper - like a hope chest.

"Not too many, I'm guessing," she giggled little, "At least not like the one you just gave me," she admitted and she smiled at him. Still very amazed he had created such an intricate glass object and it had been designed with her in mind.

"You are not from here, Earth I mean, are you?" Bel asked Erione curiously. She knew a lot of the Earthly gods, but Erione's god realm didn't quite match up to anything she was familiar with. She didn't really know any gods affiliated glass.

Erione nodded and smiled. He really could make just about anything as long as he had some reference to work on, and time to create and form the glass. His domain might have been the material of glass but one of his best personal talents was his artistic passion.

He joined her giggling in agreement. "Right, so that proves you're important. Trust me, I'm a god." It felt good to be laughing and joking about godhood with a peer. And regardless of whether she felt comfortable in her godhood that is what he considered her to be.

Erione then shook his head. "No, i'm from a world called Lum. But... I guess now that I have shrines and worshipers here I am kinda a god from Earth too." Technically his domain had expanded to the island. Even if his connection to his home were to be severed for some reason he would still exist as a god because he had worship and shrines.

"I dunno, some gods are tricksters, and tell you only what you want to hear," Bel teased. She was having a great time talking to Erione - he seemed kind and very down-to-earth. She had met a few other gods at the school, and most were nice, but a lot of them also had a sort of arrogance about them that Bel had trouble identifying with. She knew she could be impatient, and a bit temperamental, even sarcastic, but Bel wasn't arrogant or so sure of herself as many others were.

"Lum like lumos?" Bel asked him curiously.

Eri laughed. He knew a few gods that might have been a little more on the tricky side. "Fair, fair. But i'm not really into tricks. Some people even call me transparent," he giggled at the terrible glass-related joke. Though honestly it was true. Maybe that was even why he was fairly transparent. He had to be representative of his domain. Bright and colorful and easily seen through.

He did cock his head at the question though. "I'm not sure what lumos is but it sounds real close. The language of our gods is actually called Illumi. Guess it's like of like talking about light here," he answered. He'd noticed the similarity with the word "illumination" and things like that. Was it a coincidence? While talking he absently fidgeted with his new box, still running his fingers over the carvings like he couldn't sit still and do nothing.

Bel burst out laughing at that, "So your intentions are always crystal-clear, are they?" she asked with a giggle, not being able to resist herself. Looking at him briefly and unconsciously with her godsight and smiling at what she saw. Erione shone brightly with a sort of twinkling happiness to it. She had never really seen anything like it before.

"Yes, that's it... I believe it's similar to the Latin, lux," Bel explained as she tried to remember her Latin lessons, "If I remember right from my lessons, it does mean light," she said with a smile, thinking that the word suited Erione perfectly.

"Do you like it here? Is the island very different to where you are from?" Bel asked curiously beginning to have the feeling that Erione's world was quite different to hers.
