Mala walked into the music room, wearing her normal clothes, her hair down and flowy. Her walk quite casual. She yawned as she looked about, then smiled, a playful evil smile, and walked to a microphone, turned it on, went over to another thing, put in a CD, turned it up all the way, went back to the phone, and the music started, and she started to sing.

"Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night toss and turn and dream of what I need"

She sang brilliantly.

"I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life"

She sang the chorus, then went on.

"Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet"

But after that she stopped, and wondered a moment, she needed more practice, even if she sounded wonderful, not good enough for her.

Delilah jumped and bounced and danced her away from room to room in search of anything to do in the school. She had only arrived recently and boy was she bored. It wasn't until she started hearing music and someone - a girl - singing , that she found something of possible interest.

She followed her ears to the source of the sound, which wasn't half bad, in fact, it was really good; but Delilah could do better. As soon as the girl ceased her singing, Delilah burst through the door, continuing where she left off for she too knew the song.

"I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life"

The sound that came out of her mouth was amazing, far better than the other girl, at least to her own ears.

"Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me

Through the wind end the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like the fire in my blood"

When she stopped her wonderful singing, Delilah swayed up to the girl and said, "Hi there, I'm Delilah. You have a really good voice, though it could use a wee bit of practice, no offense of course."

Mala stared at the girl, who burst through, and sang off where she stopped, and watched, interested in the girl singing, though a little annoyed. The girl sounded a bit better, but what was Mala suppose to think, that she was better, after being dead?!

Malayia smiled slightly, when the girl stopped singing and came over to her.

"Hi there, I'm Delilah. You have a really good voice, though it could use a wee bit of practice, no offense of course."

"Hiya, I'm Mala. And yeah, I'm not gonna deny it, I do need practice, after coming back from the dead... ugh, what would my band think?" She said, and laughed, not about to lie about herself dying once before, and coming back, maybe it'll creep the girl out, that would be fun to see.

Delilah simply froze on sight the second the girl, who had introduced herself as Mala, mentioned that she'd come back from the dead. She had absolutely no idea that was possible. But apparently it was. Delilah tried to study the girl, try to figure out if she was lying or not. After all she'd just met her and the second she finished speaking she began laughing...so she had no idea to believe or not believe Mala.

"You...came back...from the dead?!" The was another slightly long pause before she added, "That is so cool! You have a band? Sweet! I've always wanted to be in a band, but my mom 'forbids' it."

Mala smirked, a evil, but playful smile. "Yeah, I came back... I still wonder why..." She said, a bit carelessly, with a shrug.

"That is so cool! You have a band? Sweet! I've always wanted to be in a band, but my mom 'forbids' it."

Again, she smirked, and then spoke. "Well, you should wait till your older before you get a band, its a lot of work. Try to get a band not full of vamps, like mine... they're crazy."" She said, with a laugh. Then sighed, she needed to make contact with her band, they don't know she's alive yet. The girl had a mother. She smiled slightly. Mala had no parents, they were murdered.

Delilah tilted her head and looked at Mala curiously. "What? Don't you want to be alive?"

The girl rolled her turquoise eyes at Mala's advice. "I bet I could handle it." Delilah took a quick glance around the room she was in, various musical notes and designs decorated the walls and several musical instruments surrounded them, then turned her attention back to Mala and said with a big sigh, "No...I literally mean she forbids it; like it's actually forbidden...well for people like me. God, i swear he thinks every Siren is out to get every single guy..." Delilah grunted loudly and then replaced that frown with a big smile. "You're band was filled with vampires? Does that mean...you're a vampire? Again: So cool."

Mala shrugged again. "Yeah, I suppose I want to be alive." She said, thinking about that moment, then decided she wanted to be alive.

"I bet I could handle it."

"Maybe, maybe not." She merely said.

"Well, when your older, then you do what you want, instead of listening to a parent... hmm... but then again, I don't know, I haven't had a parent for forever." She said. Mala then shook her head.

"No, I am not a vampire, I'm a werewolf. And my band only has one vampire, and another werewolf, and then, a human." She said, leaning back on a speaker.

Delilah continued to stare curiously at Mala, but then simply shrugged it off, not a really problem for her anyway. At Mala's other comment towards having a band, Delilah shrugged it off as well.

Delilah smacked her forehead and thought for a moment. Obviously Mala wasn't quite understanding what she meant. So, she breathed in deep and gave it another shot. "You still don't get it, do you? Siren are forbidden from becoming singers and joining bands. That's the law. At least, from where I come from. Delilah frowned when Mala mentioned how she had never had a parent, and felt sad for bringing hers up in the first place. "I'm sorry."

Her head was spinning. She wasn't a vampire? She was a werewolf...and yet she came back form the dead? Isn't that what a vampire does?"Wait...so, how did you come back from the dead? I thought only vampires could do that? I'd love to meet your band mates some day, I've always wanted to meet a vampire, now that I've met a werewolf."

Mala laughed. "So what about the laws? Your not there anymore, your somewhere else, you can do what you want." She said. She felt a little stupid not understanding at first, then remembered what a Siren was. Who cares about laws? Not Mala for one.

She shrugged. She had no idea how she came back from the dead. "I don't know how I came back... I just did one day... I'm sure my friends would love meeting you, but be watchful of Lazarus, he's and odd one." She said, laughing. She really had to get in contact with them soon.

"So what about the laws? Your not there anymore, your somewhere else, you can do what you want."

Delilah sighed. Sure, Delilah wasn't there anymore and she could do as she pleased, but Mala just didn't know the kind of government down in the Hollow. "Well, I guess you have some kind of point.." Delilah said with a shrug. Delilah wasn't one to follow rules, but there were some that she just couldn't break. Horrible consequences always followed those who did.

"I don't know how I came back... I just did one day... I'm sure my friends would love meeting you, but be watchful of Lazarus, he's and odd one."

With a curious look Delilah asked, "How strange...but no matter. At least you came back." The girl smiled and plopped down on a nearby desk. Odd? How so? Well i hope I can meet them someday soon."
