It is Harry Potter and his friends' seventh and final year at Hogwarts, and it has started out uneasy. With the death of Dumbledore and the rebirth of Lord Voldemort, it has now become a question of when the Dark Lord will attack.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry now has Minerva McGonagall as the headmistress. Spells, done by aurors and the multitude of staff members at Hogwarts have been used to strengthen the walls of Hogwarts, hoping that if it's the target of Voldemort the castle and students will be able to stand.
The Order of Phoenix is continuing to work hard, and Harry Potter, though back at school, is still uneasy about searching for the Dark Lord's horcruxes. He may never know. Perhaps they are right there within the confinements of the old magical castle.
Dark Wizards, though, are gathering to become Death Eaters and to serve the great Lord. There is a question among the Order of the Phoenix and the students at Hogwarts whether Professor Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy have truly become the servants of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
So begins the new year, the same as always but not quite.
